“I loveeeeee their phở chua cay (sour & spicy pho) ❤️ The soup gave me the feeling of something familiar and unfamiliar because the traditional pho is not sour at all. They also offer traditional pho too ? The owner is super friendly and helpful too. Highly recommend to check their opening hour before coming in because they open for limited hours.“
“Great place, the air hockey table is a great touch and the decor is very interesting! Drinks tasted good and were made quickly, and it was a great place to chat with a few friends! I had a Hong Kong lemon tea and can definitely recommend it!“
“Oh man. This food was crazy good I had the Fiesta plate which is chamoru food. I chose the brisket and BBQ chicken. Both had a nice char, great flavor, and good portions. that orange chamoru rice is just different in the best way possible. so much flavorThis was soooo good and the price is a bargain. buddy got the mochiko chicken and that was awesome as well.“
“5 stars on everything! This is the best vietnamese food i have had around renton! The spring rolls were crunchy and divine, also the eggrolls, holy moly, everything was delicious. The service was great as well, very friendly. Very impressed.“
“Ginger Teriyaki offers the best of both worlds: delicious food and outstanding customer service. From their flavorful teriyaki dishes to their attentive staff, every visit is a delight. Whether dining in or ordering takeout, you’re guaranteed a satisfying experience. Highly recommend!“
“The owner is very friendly, their food is the best northern Chinese cuisine I had in the greater Seattle area, I tried pepper and pork intestine, lamb soup noodles, the stir fried veggie, and I tried the hand-pulled chicken last time, I like all of them! Their food would be my first choice if I need a party catering in the future ?“
“My family and I are pho snobs who compare everything to our beloved Pho 75 on the East Coast where we're from. This place might be the best pho we've ever had. You select your meats, the portions are very generous, and little details like having authentic Sriracha sauce and fresh sprouts and lime show their attention to detail. We've found our go-to phos spot in Seattle!“
“Din Tai Fung is a great place for drinks and yummy food with friends. Always busy, you need a reservation if you want a seat without waiting too long. And don't be late or you will lose it.So many delicious options. The DTF Old Fashioned is very special with an oolong tea syrup. Wood ear mushrooms in vinegar dressing, Shanghai rice cakes, and Xaio Long Bao soup dumplings are standouts. Hot and sour soup is also delicious. Not shown is the fresh orange green iced tea with boba: very refreshing and not too sweet, the flavor of the jasmine green tea shines through highlighted by the orange juice. Highly recommend any of the locations for a fun and delicious meal.PS If you found this review helpful, please heart it. Thank you!“
“The banh mi sandwiches here are very good as are the spring rolls. Those are the two things I order when I come here and I always get it to go, so I can't speak about the service or ambiance. I have not tried the pho here but it always looks good. If you are craving Vietnamese food, this is a good option.“
“It has been a decade since I ordered Pad Thai because of how "normal" most places make it. The tamarind Pad Thai here is SO FLAVORFUL that it defies all expectations. I can't wait to order it again! The service is very straightforward. If you're after butler and sommelier service from a hole in the wall Thai joint by the railroad tracks, you need to manage your expectations. If you waffle on what you want to order, you're gonna have to wait longer, plain and simple. The two ladies running the place on our first visit did a great job and guests should get with their efficient program and not the other way around. I can not wait to go back for my favorite dish, Larb Gai.“
“We ordered the mango salad which was recommended by the server as a house specialty. I thought it was just ok, nothing special. The mango juliennes were too thick mixed with fried pieces of tofu in their house sauce. We also shared the combo platter which was enough for 2. Overall, all the items we ordered were good. Lunch for 3 was about $60. Service was great.“
“Plenty of seating area. Waiter is quick to seat and take order. I order the Special Kim Phuong Rice Dish with a soup. It came with grilled pork but I switched it out for grilled short ribs, skewered shrimp, shrimp patty, rice, eggs, cucumber and a slice of tomato. The soup usually is with a pho broth but I can taste a very strong taste of cinnamon. That kinda threw me off because of how strong it is.“
“We kind of just stumbled into this place and my wife and I were so happy with our experience! Great prices, the pho was fantastic! I really liked the fresh spring rolls and the bahn mi. It literally made me think that I probably needed to go back and lower other the ratings on other Vietnamese restaurants because if this is 5 stars then it really should be above the rest. Music was bouncin' too.“
“My husband and I come here often and we've never had a bad experience. There's never been more than a ten minute wait for a table and the food always comes out fast! When ordering you mark a menu card and they bring out the different shareable dishes as they're ready and staff consistently clears away empty dishes and checks on your table. We always order a bit too much and end up overstuffed at the end of our meal, so I definitely recommend coming hungry!“
“The service is so nice and friendly. The renovations have been a good upgrade. The food is ok bc it tends to adjust the flavors to suit the community. The BBH should be fishy and spicy.. it was a little bland compared to what I'm used to. Everyone else loved their food. It's a convenient and good location. We'll be back.“
“New Fav! I was pleasantly surprised with this restaurant. The chicken wings were mouth watering, crunchy outside and juicy inside, super yummy. I also had the brisket pho (my go to) and it was DELICIOUS, broth was perfect and meat was great quality. The place is nice and clean. The staff is very kind and accommodating. I was there pretty late after work, starving. They didnt even mind me staying after closing to finish. Ive now put this place on my top 5 pho spots. You should too.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly“
“Beef pho was great! Meat is generous compared to other pho restaurants. The spring roll was also good. Peanut sauce is well made here. The staff is super friendly and polite. It seems like a mom and pop shop.Would def recommend.Parking: Shared open parking lot“
“Best pho broth in entire South end ,always perfectly balanced, not to heavy, fresh tasting always, I have followed these nice folks for 15 plus years, there food is a blessing ?,Ps. My puppy HARLEY loves your pho aswell!!!Wheelchair accessibility: Bathrooms are very good for wheelchair use“
“Love this place! The food is always fresh and the service is awesome, we almost never have an empty water glass! Every time we're close we stop in for some great food! ?Parking: We drive a full size crew cab long bed and we were able to park! Having a Big 5 in the same parking lot is helpful!“
“Since discovering this restaurant in January, 2020, I have eaten here about eighteen times and gotten takeout food from here about thirty eight times. This is an extraordinary restaurant and the chef and her staff really know a lot about food that tastes good, and they serve it. I am not an expert, but I think this is food from the region of China around Shanghai. When one eats at the restaurant, one is served a tiny little “Barbie’s appetizer” of the sort that in many European restaurants is called a throat/ mouth/ tongue amusement or something similar, in any one of a dozen or more languages. This little dish containing three items is very entertaining and it says a lot about the restaurant: one is slightly sweet, one is slightly sour, and one is slightly piquant. Consume it slowly and thoughtfully. With most orders, you will be served a small dish with minced not pressed garlic in it, covered with a darker liquid than soy sauce. This is so-called black vinegar, and I really like it served this way. I had never had a “soup dumpling” before, and, truth be told, I am not sure that I could’ve envisioned their existence until they confronted me, but they are spectacular and delicious, especially the pork ones. Do not get these soup dumplings to carry out or be delivered. Wait for the pandemic to pass so that you can eat them just as they are served in the restaurant. Other dishes that I consider delicious to the point of having spectacular characteristics are the pork pancake rolls, beef pancake rolls, egg & chive pancake rolls, the hot and sour tofu hot pot (!), every kind of dumpling that they make, the pork wonton in spicy sichuan sauce, and today, to my great satisfaction, I was introduced to the Chinese sausage with a handmade noodle that they call vermicelli, but it is rather wide. I have not eaten much fried rice since I first ate Chinese food a very long time ago. I ordered fried rice here and it was wonderfully toothsome and delicious. The pancake rolls are difficult to eat, but they are so tasty that they can be forgiven. The app that they use for takeout orders is rather buggy, and I find I prefer to order in person and sit down and read a book while they prepare the food. The warm, alert, and friendly staff are liable to recognize you if you eat there more than once, even if you wear an elaborate mask. This detail quite took my breath away. A slight preponderance of the clientele appears to me to have Asian ancestry. At my house, we can usually make four to six “person-meals“ from three orders of food from here. Overall, my feeling about this restaurant is the feeling I would have if I found a bag of gold dust on a forest trail. July, 2020: A new special, off menu, written on construction paper on the wall is “salt and pepper shrimp.” This is very lightly batter-dipped shrimp, in its shell, fried with assorted peppers, red, green, black. It is delicious. Since my first visit in early 2020, I have continued to eat here 1 to 4 times a month. I strongly re-endorse my comments above.“
“Papaya in Renton, WA, has become a cherished spot for my daughter and me, a place where we find not just food but comfort, warmth, and a sense of belonging. Each visit to Papaya is like returning home, where we're greeted with the familiar aromas of our favorite dishes and the welcoming smiles of the staff. Plus we used to live across the street at the Sanctuary Apartments across from the movie theater. The menu at Papaya, with its vibrant and flavorful offerings, has something for everyone. However, we have our unbeatable favorites. The grilled pork skewers, with their perfect char and succulent meat, are a must-try. They're not just skewers; they're tender morsels of joy that melt in your mouth, leaving behind a smoky and savory flavor that keeps you coming back for more. Then there's the salt & pepper tofu, a dish that beautifully balances the softness of tofu with the crunch of a lightly seasoned crust, creating a delightful textural contrast. It's a simple dish elevated to something extraordinary, making it a staple for us.The combo pho is a bowl of comfort, with its rich, aromatic broth and generous servings of meats and noodles. It’s a dish that warms you from the inside out, perfect for any day. And let’s not forget the coconut curry rice, a harmonious blend of sweet coconut and spicy curry that's both comforting and exciting.Papaya isn't just about the food, though. It's about the experience. The cozy, welcoming atmosphere makes every dining experience feels special for me. It’s a place where my daughter and I can talk, laugh, and enjoy each other's company over a meal that feels like it was made just for us.For anyone in Renton, WA, looking for delicious food served with heart, Papaya is a destination worth visiting again and again. Whether you’re craving something savory, something spicy, or simply a place to make memories, Papaya remains one of my go to spots.“
“My wife and I just had lunch at this restaurant and were both very pleased. We were greeted immediately by a young man who was always smiling and whistling. We both got some egg noodle soups; I got combination and my wife got seafood. They were both delicious and very filling. I looked at other people's dishes and they looked good too! For the two of us, the bill was ~$30, which is reasonable for the amount of food we got. If you're considering, don't be intimidated by the authenticity - walk in and enjoy something!“
“Friendly service, delicious food, and good price quality. The dining area and restroom are all nicely decorated, with bright colors and modern tiles. We ordered a soup and a noodle dish, and both are great! We'll come back to try other dishes.Vegetarian options: Tofu“
