Only gave 4* on service and atmosphere due to it's a drive up coffee shop with no inside area and you can tell when people are in training/new and sometimes can get a little overwhelmed by the system or making the drinks. “Bambu Desserts & Drinks absolutely delivered on the dessert drinks. The chè was refreshing, creamy, and packed with texture. I loved the mix of jellies, beans, fruit, coconut, and shaved ice — every sip tasted layered and fun. The ube ice cream on top was a standout and made the whole dessert feel extra indulgent.

Perfect spot if you’re craving something sweet, cold, and different from the usual boba run. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was that I wished the flavors were just a little richer overall, but I’d still come back again. Great treat to share with friends on a warm day.“

“The first time I came to this coffee stand, it was by accident. I don’t normally go to Coffee stands too often, but I was just looking for a decent sugar-free option. The girls hook me up with a great drink a few weeks later I decided to have another coffee, heading to an appointment in Bellevue figured I’d look for this place again. I was grateful to figure out where I had gone again. These girls did their job like professionals as if they all owned the joint it’s raining today. One girl saw the rain coming in all over the inside of my door, and offered paper towel towels without being asked these women are tentative, considerate, and kind. Very a few places have people like this anymore. I will go out of my way to get coffee here, hands down.“

“Went in to get a simple drink and the customer ahead of me was being a pain. She tried to order something off menu, was upset when they didn’t immediately know what it was, and then watched as the employees made the drink, criticizing them and cussing the entire time. Meira was patient and asked questions to ensure she understood what was being asked of her. She also apologized to me and others for the wait and took our orders with the same enthusiasm, not letting the negative interaction get to her. Tiffany, who I believe is the manager, was extremely professional even while being berated. She calmly stated multiple times “This isn’t something I’ve heard of, but I’m trying to get you what you want”. Ultimately both these ladies handled the situation like pros and definitely deserve some recognition. Delicious smoothie too!“

“I used to not go to happy lemon because I wasn't fond of the drinks, I went to the location in Bellevue I believe. But when I moved to this area , I thought to try it out again, I got the regular milk tea with pudding and taro balls. Really Good! They also had a strawberry cheesecake drink (something along those lines), super good! The inside of this location is really cute too! Happy Lemon went from one I never go to, to one I'd happily go to! Def come try their drinks.“

“I recommend you try it to get your own experience. For me the snacks are great. The drinks in my opinion need more natural fruits to get the natural flavor. I order a mangonada and it had a very strong citrus flavor. I was a bit disappointed as we are in mango season and was expecting a more natural mangonada. Overall they do have so many varieties of things. And the customer service is great. Still recommend you trying it“

“I recently visited Big Orange in Southcenter, excited to try one of their signature boba teas. I went with the piña colada flavor, and while it was good, it leaned heavily into a coconut profile. If you’re a coconut lover, you might really enjoy it, but it wasn’t quite what I expected.

The atmosphere was nice, and they have a big, eye-catching orange sign that makes them easy to spot. The staff were friendly and efficient, which was a plus.

One thing to note is that the price was about $11, which felt a bit steep for a single drink. Next time, I might try a different option from their menu before deciding!“

“Me and my sister had no phone service and got lost in Tacoma and thought that this was the location that was doing free drinks/cheap drinks and we asked them about it. They said no it’s the other one they gave me directions and we’re very nice and patient And told me three places that had free Wi-Fi that I could stop by to get location if I wasn’t able to understand their directions or not If it weren’t for the mission, me and my sister, I definitely would’ve got drinks there. The menu has a great variety, so there’s something for everyone, whether you like milk tea, fruit tea, or boba. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, and service is quick even when it’s busy. The shop itself is clean and has a nice, relaxing vibe—perfect for hanging out or grabbing a drink after walking around Southport. Definitely one of the best boba spots in Renton. Highly recommend!“

“I've been going to emerald city smoothie since they started back in 97 I think 🤔. I'm loyal to the strawberry mega mass or as I've gotten older and fatter the mini mass but it's my favorite smoothie 🥤 anywhere. I could have one everyday and do whenever I've lived close by one.“

“The coffee is good, but a bit pricey. The paper products are so cheap I ended up with 3 drinks in my lap as they were handed to me. I’m not sure why we should tip someone for handing us a drink, but I still give them 4 stars because it tastes better than Starbucks.“

“This was the first Gravity Coffee to open in Federal Way and I'm glad to see them still thriving and serving fantastic drinks. This drive thru has two ways to order from and the staff here is great about going out to grab drink orders during busy times. They have your drink pretty much ready to go by the time you get to the front and even if you just ordered from them, they make their drinks pretty fast. We usually have our fur babies with us and the baristas are always so friendly and offer pup cups/treats for them.

The drinks here are always made perfectly. They always accommodate my light ice or no ice accommodations fairly well, especially compared to other coffee drive thrus. Hot drinks are also never too scalding hot but the perfect temperature to enjoy immediately.“
