“The new store manager ROCKS!! Since the new store manager started, the service and quality of food has been AMAZING! We order lettuce wrapped burgers and they are delicious. Before the new manager we had stopped going because it honestly was horrible. A couple months ago we decided to give it another try and we were pleasantly surprised. And every time since, it’s been the same great service and quality. The new manager came to Ellensburg from the store in Union Gap, WA. We always had stellar service when we stopped there after our Costco run. We are so happy to now have him in Ellensburg.“

“Red Horse Diner ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ On 9/19/22, I visited Red Horse Diner in Ellensburg, Washington for the first time. I had a favorite restaurant that I used to always stop at in Ellensburg on my way back home, but it closed. I think I may have found my new favorite. Originally, the site where the diner now sits was a gas station, one car, garage, and home built in 1936. The gas station owners lived on the property as was customary back in the day. The Crossett family purchased the property in 1996 and made it what it is today. Red Horse Diner is like taking a step back in time to a cool roadside diner. The walls and ceilings are full of vintage memorabilia from the service station’s past. There are several different rooms with all kinds of seating arrangements. There is also a beautiful outdoor dining area. Even if you choose to dine inside, you must take a walk through the property out back. They have yard games. You can rent it out for private parties. Red Horse Diner serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There are lots of options to choose from, but they were best known for their burgers. I ordered The Patty Wagon ($17) - 1/3 lb. Patty with Grilled Onions and Swiss Cheese on Toasted Rye. My server highly recommended the onion rings, so I paid a slight up charge to substitute. It was the best patty melt, and onion rings that I’ve had an ages! Attached to the diner, is the Nodding Donkey Bar. Happy Hour is every day from 12 PM to 2 PM, and again from 4 PM to 6 PM. On Friday nights, they have live music. Saturday is Karaoke Night. In addition to being a great roadside diner and bar, Red Horse Diner is an important part of the community, as the back hall wall, which is full of cards, letters, and other acknowledgments, will attest to. Red Horse Diner is a popular gathering place for a car clubs, motorcycle groups, and families. Red Horse Diner hosts classic car shows. They have an annual motorcycle event the first weekend in May called The Iron Horse Trail Motorcycle Show, which features live music, motorcycle stunts and competitions. They have a very active Facebook page where they share past and upcoming events. Be sure to check it out. Highly Recommended!!! 1518 W. University Way Sunday - Thursday 7 AM to 9:30 PM Friday - Saturday 7 AM to 10 PM Nodding Donkey Bar is open on Monday from 3 to 11 PM. The rest of the week, it’s open from 11 AM to 11 PM. — at Red Horse Diner.“

“4 stars ⭐ Not bad. Had the option of several fast food restaurants in the area, but decided on BK. We both ordered the 10 piece nuggets for $1.48 and an iced tea for my dad. Nuggets seemed a little small, but all 10 were there (sometimes we're given extra nuggets or not enough). Several large water puddles on the floor but quick, clean restrooms, easy access trailer parking, and one of those "fantasy" soda machines“

“Wings were really good. Madison was amazing and attentive. Checked in on us frequently made sure we were taken care of. Some days it can get really crowded which makes it difficult for service to be really available. Sometimes you don't get a refill but not so with Madison. That's what made us ultimately post a review. Thanks for being awesome!“

“Convenient. Service was super fast despite the line and lunch hour. Wenoha and Jasmine were the best part of our pit stop. They were both very nice and professional. Their customer service made for a great lunch on our journey. Very efficient and service with continuous smiles.“

“We've only ever done the ice cream there, which has met our expectations each time. The dining room was clean and the servers are always friendly. The server working the register up front is always fast and welcoming. I didn't catch her name but she has short hair. The restaurant design is older but certainly not dingy or run down, it's well kept. I actually appreciate that it has not been updated like other DQs because it reminds me of the ones I use to visit as a kid. It's retro and nastagic.“

“One thing about McDonald's is that they are pretty consistent with the exception of the store on 320th, that place is the worst. But this review isn't about that place. So, when did McDonald's get away from in person customer service? One register and 4-5 kiosks. Seriously they are a pain to navigate. For example, if you wanted a cheeseburger without onions you have to find customize and several clicks later it does it versus telling a person "cheeseburger no onions." Simple. I guess if they are catering to the younger crowd it's ok but I have seen many a senior or non techy get confused. It's post COVID. No one wipes down or disinfects the screens. Guess with higher wages they don't want to empty cashiers.
But this store was clean and people were courteous. Hot fries is a hit and miss.“

“neat little spot with a great, no frills burger. it reminded me of drive-in burgers that I had growing up in South Carolina (though that might have been the mustard talking).baskets (burger + fries) is around $15 which isn't bad. burger is a decent size, and the fries are a generous portion.there's enough parking in their lot or nearby on the street. interior is a bit small, but there are plenty of benches, some covered, some in the sun, surrounding the property.oh, and the bathroom is single stall, which is a huge plus.really good overall, and worth a stop if you find yourself needing a quick lunch in Ellensburg“
