“As lovers of Indian food, my wife and I had been wanting to try this place for a while now. Well, we finally had the opportunity to try out this restaurant and boy were we glad we did. I ordered the coconut chicken curry and the wife ordered the mango chicken curry. We both shared a garlic naan. All the dishes were AMAZING. Portions were great and the service was quick and responsive. We both highly recommend Tasty Curry Restaurant.“

“We reserved a table online for their Cowboy Brunch for 4. The music was so loud that we could not even have a conversation. Two of us received our food cold. The waitress brought out two new plates, again cold! Needless to say we didn't eat them. The deposit was suppose to come.off the bill ($100.00), but we all paid individually, with the waitress saying she would refund the original deposit. A week later still not refunded and no one will return the call. Absolutely terrible experience!“

“Had a chance to retry Tacos and Beer, considerably better this time around on both the service and food front.

Tacos & Beer has solid flavor and a lively vibe, but it’s inconsistent in execution. Many dishes come out overly greasy, which dulls otherwise good ingredients. Service feels disengaged, and basic requests like refills or napkins often take effort to flag down.

The atmosphere is fun and the space has potential, but attention to service and balance in the food would make a big difference. Less oil, more care.“

“Absolutely LOVED IT!!!! I went with my partner for prom and the staff was so incredibly nice and they were very quick as well. The food was amazing, we got the garlic cheese appetizer (easily our favorite thing on the menu) ribs and the salmon, all got devoured!! HIGHLY recommend this place!!“

“FYI it's take-out/delivery (within 5 miles) only now. Just finished their chicken curry (with broccoli, carrots, onion and zucchini) and it was among the best I've had. Came with steamed rice. Very reasonably priced and super personable staff. I'll definitely go back.

Parking: Parking is on every side of the building except the front--tons of parking“

“I love coming here for birthdays, date nights and just for fun. The food is always really delicious and the show as they make your food is great. I was a little worried because I brought a couple vegans/vegetarians and I have always only ordered the steak/shrimp etc. so I was relieved that they had a veggie plate with some zucchini mushrooms and tofu they could eat that they cooked first.

I’ve seen a lot of reviews in here dissing the service and I could see why you could feel a little rushed, but on a busy dinner service, it’s not LIKE a normal restaurant they literally cook at the table. And so I think it makes sense to not let folks linger forever. If you’re going to let that get in the way of unique and delicious experience then take your snooty behavior someplace else.

“Emory's on Silver Lake is a gem! I recently had their fish and chips, and it was absolutely delicious – perfectly crispy and flavorful. I also tried the pink rose cocktail, which was a delightful complement to the meal. The location is fantastic, right next to the water with plenty of parking. I especially enjoyed sitting outside by the fireplace, creating a cozy and scenic atmosphere. The servers were friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend Emory's for a great meal and a relaxing ambiance!“
