“Cafe 544 is always a favorite of ours. We tried to go this morning and sadly their hot water heater had just gone out, so we couldn’t. We ended up at a chain place in Bellingham and it reminded us how lucky we are to have such an incredible cafe in our town. The food here is amazing the staff is friendly! We are spoiled!“

“I just wanted to share our wonderful experience here. So, my 3 yr old son could not decide between the chocolate cake and the red velvet cake because the red velvet cake had a oreo cookie on top. We ended up getting the chocolate cake, and to our surprise when the nice lady who took our order served the chocolate cake she placed the oreo cookie on top of the chocolate cake and that just made my son's day. The food and coffee was great as well 😊“

“Me and the wife visited this restaurant for lunch today. The ordering was fast, and food was served pretty fast, I would say within the 7-10 minute period. The server was very professional and cordial, food tasted awesome, right from bite 1. There were infact two young guys running it, and both were really good. We would go there repeatedly, I think.“

“I know this is a shameless plug, but I just finished eating a beef meat pie from Holly's, and I have to write this: I just found Holly's Meat Pies and had my first pie from them. I can't say enough about how delicious my pasty was!!!! Thank YOU! 🙏🏻 The crust is absolute perfection – not too dry, not oily. Perfectly cooked. The pie stayed hot even though I drove home. Wow! I got the beef, and the filling was perfect. The balance of the spices, herbs, the quality of the meat, the vegetables and the onion was superior and absolutely perfectly balanced. This lady has skills!! The taste is wonderful. Holly gave me samples of Ty's Barbecue Sauce and Pasty Sauce !!! Yummmmm! I tested the barbecue sauce because I couldn't resist – I'll be back for at least one bottle and it won't last long. And the pasty sauce was fantastic. I'm buying a bottle. I had never heard of putting any kind of sauce on my pasty, but I'll put this on it! The thing about the pasty is it's so good without the sauce, but it's great with the sauce, too. I alternated bites lol. 😆 Since the pasty is neither dry nor greasy, it stands on its own so perfectly that I couldn't imagine putting the sauce on it – until I tried! It kicks the flavor up a notch. I bought a frozen Chicken pie for later, and I "liberated" several menus - this is going to become a habit!!!! Can't wait to try the Vegan pie (🥧 mushrooms!!), and the lamb pie and the entire menu! Feels like I found a culinary goldmine that's right up my alley. I feel so lucky that this is in Bellingham, and that I don't live too far from it because I will be a frequent visitor. And they are so friendly- great, wholesome, quick, affordable food!! What's not to love?! 💕 I also want to say hello to Holly and to Andrea who I met today and who were so friendly & knowledgeable. Smart women getting it done!! ✅ They answered every question I had. If you haven't tried this place, you've got to go and try it. This is the ultimate easy portable health food! Great with soup 🥣, salad 🥗 and Bordeaux!! My belly is happy 😊! What a therapeutic experience!!“

“I wanted to try the Palm Café for a while ever since I checked the menu there. I ordered the “6 Nutella Banana Waffle with the Eggnog Latte. The waffle was very delicious. The waffle itself was soft and warm all around, the bananas was quite fresh, the Nutella was rich and tasty and the whipped cream was pleasurably sweet (even though the pink colouring does nothing for the cream.) The latte was so, very good and I could taste the eggnog in the beverage. The interior aesthetic was pretty straightforward; however, I do admire the lights and the wallpaper in the establishment. The service was great and I have no complaints against it whatsoever. I highly recommend anyone who loves waffles to come to the Palm Café. Even if you do not care for them, they also make sandwiches and avocado toast.“

“A gem for people with food restrictions in Downtown Abbotsford! Everything is tasty, gluten free and has the ingredients and allergens listed. We had a Neurodivergent Social Connection group for adults meet up yesterday and we had some people with celiac and nut allergies show up, so it’s great you had food for those people to eat. Also, thanks for sharing our Instagram post too, that helps get the word out about our new group.“

I wasn't a big coffee drinker until more recently, so I don't get all the coffee lingo, but these girls always get what I'm trying to say. Such an odd, little location but it works. Wish they were open later into the day just so I could drive out and grab a coffee after school.“

“I was passing by on a trip needing caffeine for the drive and this is probably the best coffee shop I’ve been to in years, from Alberta to BC and all the way down to Portland. This one stands out the most.

I ordered an Avalanche, it’s like this specific drink was made for me, I love it.

I wish I lived nearby so I could come here more, but I guess I will be adding a 30min detour every time I drive down to Seattle so I can stop by here and enjoy.

Staff was friendly and inviting and they were focused and hard working.

“I came through the drive-thru this morning completely exhausted, running on barely three hours of sleep after heading out early to pick my partner up from the airport. I desperately needed a coffee, but of course my Apple Pay decided not to work and, in my exhaustion, I had forgotten my purse at home.
I unfortunately did not catch her name but on May 28 @ 7:08 am, The beautiful woman taking my order showed me such unexpected kindness and gave me my coffee free of charge. It may have seemed like a small gesture to her, but it genuinely turned my entire morning around. I was literally fighting to stay awake on my drive in from Vancouver, and that simple act of compassion meant more than she probably realizes.
It’s refreshing to encounter people who still lead with generosity and understanding!! Truly such lovely service, and I’ll absolutely be coming back again and again. 10/10 experience.“
