“Our neighborhood go-to for a reason. My wife and I live nearby and Verrazano's has become one of those places we just keep coming back to. It's the kind of Italian restaurant that feels like a real find — upscale enough for a special evening but comfortable enough to be a regular.

I always order the spaghetti and a Caesar salad, and both are consistently excellent. The spaghetti is classic, done right, with generous portions. The Caesar is crisp and well-dressed. And don't skip the grilled garlic bread — it's incredible. Simple dishes, but that's where you really see the quality of a kitchen, and Verrazano's nails it every time.
The drinks are a highlight too. I'll usually have a Manhattan and an Old Fashioned over the course of dinner, and the bar does a great job with both. My wife rotates between a Moscow Mule and a glass of Browne's Cabernet, and she's always happy. It's a well-curated cocktail and wine program that doesn't get enough credit.

The views of Puget Sound and the Olympics from the deck are a huge bonus — especially during golden hour. Add in attentive, personable service and a warm atmosphere with white tablecloths and you've got everything you need for a great night out.

If you're in the Federal Way area and love Italian food, don't sleep on this place. Five stars.“

“This place reminds me of what "health food" stores were like in the 90s. Staff are very helpful and share a kind of philosophical positivity that comes from a less pressured time. I also find items that I don't find in PCC or Central Coop in Seattle. I would shop more often if I lived nearby.“

“My boyfriend and I frequent the BECU ATM nearby every so often and if Asensio Coffee is open then we will stop by. They have seasonal specials which is always a win for my boyfriend and I as we love trying out new specials. The staff here greeted us warmly and was very patient with the customer before us who was buying a gift card and helped us with the same professionalism and friendliness. We stopped by recently to grab their fall drinks and I saw on the sign that the drink I chose pairs well with a pumpkin spice whipped cream. It is extra so I decided against it. We found a spot to sit at while we waited for our drinks and not only did the employee hand delivered our drinks to us but told me she added the pumpkin spice whipped cream for me. I thought that was super sweet of her that makes the visit all the more special and reason to visit. They do also have a reward system that we joined too.

The store is well maintained and there are plenty of seating and tables for all sorts of groups or sole patrons. They have some handcrafted goods to buy as well. We asked if they were dog friendly and they said dogs are welcome so we definitely will stop by more often as the weather gets colder.“

“The Gyros House is located in the food court of Federal Way Mall I have tried a lot of places that offer Gyros but this restaurant is the only one that makes it in the proper way and what I like the most is the freshness that make us comeback to eat there every time that we are near by.

The vegetables in the curries (palak and muttar) tasted really fresh, which feels like a small thing but made the dishes really stand out for us. We'd definitely order from here again!“

“Went in to get a simple drink and the customer ahead of me was being a pain. She tried to order something off menu, was upset when they didn’t immediately know what it was, and then watched as the employees made the drink, criticizing them and cussing the entire time. Meira was patient and asked questions to ensure she understood what was being asked of her. She also apologized to me and others for the wait and took our orders with the same enthusiasm, not letting the negative interaction get to her. Tiffany, who I believe is the manager, was extremely professional even while being berated. She calmly stated multiple times “This isn’t something I’ve heard of, but I’m trying to get you what you want”. Ultimately both these ladies handled the situation like pros and definitely deserve some recognition. Delicious smoothie too!“

“Last year they were decent. But now they are absolutely amazing I have gone two times in the last month or two and the food was a 10 out of 10 every time. Very reasonably priced. And they pack your take out tray I almost wasn't able to finish both times.“
