“We had a lovely meal here about two weeks ago, it happened to be wednesday and steak night special with a drink order plus we had the choc torte - divine! Overall it was tasty and we had a nice night. We sat a bit closer to the door and I admit, it was chilly as people came and went. Staff weren't overally friendly or welcoming but not rude either. Food came at a resonalbe time and was delcious, nice tender steak, fries were crisp and like how we make at home, asperagus cooked perfect and a very nice hollandaise sauce. The appy we had was the salmon dip- it was so good, not fishy at all and had a very nice flavour. I would go back and try a few other dishes.“

“It is a very welcoming and comfy, fun place to be. I found myself laughing with folks I didn't even know while friends and I never felt crowded by anyone (and could hear each other!). The food was awesome, (small nibbles plus full meals available) with great service. And I've had a couple incredibly tasty cocktails. Highly recommend!“

“We had a great experience here on a Saturday night. It was busy, but we found a table for 2 quickly. Our waiter was really kind and knowledgeable, and brought us one of the best espresso martinis that we’ve ever had. One of the weekly specials was the Maid Marion which was also amazing. All of the staff members were bubbly and very helpful! The drinks are priced similarly to drinks a nice restaurant, but I think they are better than they would be at most restaurants :)Vegetarian options: We didn’t try any food, but the drinks are all vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: Almost all drinks are vegan I believe, and most drinks can be changed for dietary needs.Parking: Street parking varies based on time/day. Saturday night, it was hard to find parking but the parking is free.“

“Highly recommend for breakfast, brunch or lunch . The presentation of the food was superb and beautiful. The flavours of the food matched the presentation as well. In fact the “chefs breakfast” with 2 eggs, roasted tomato, extra thick bacon, special fingerling potatoes and much more, was so scrumptious I am still savouring that meal several days later . We also enjoyed the avocado smash. I thought their unique house made cardamom and brown sugar latte was amongst the best espresso beverages I have ever had and I look forward to experimenting with making my own syrup. They’ve done a great job of decorating the space and creating a bright welcoming space and I only wish I lived closer to this amazing cafe.“

“I can never say enough good things and been raving about it since I discovered a year ago. Food's great, drinks are phenomenal and feel like a meal in itself, and the interior is dreamy if you like a dream core/50s-90s aesthetic. Bartenders are pretty chill. I'm also obsessed with it's affiliated restaurant next door, leaf & ladle“

“Love this place! Food is all scratch made, amazing mimosa made with their own apple ginger cider, owners and staff are amazing down to cooks dancing as they work! Delightful environment felt like home, if your home is fun and full of yumminess.“
“This place is destined to be one of the hottest new music venues on the Bellingham music scene. Just watched a show that featured the up and coming band Chubasco at this venue... amazing! Excited to see how the new expansion takes this place to the next level!“

“Went here for a quick dinner with a friend before going to the Theatre Guild for a play. We sat at the bar because there were only two of us and when busy parties of two don’t get tables. The bar was fine, we got great service. We had hot noodles and wontons and they were both delicious. Great place for an awesome meal, great vibes.Vegetarian options: My friend is a vegetarian and we were able to pick from several dishes.“

“We did a Monday date night and it was a great experience. The service was fantastic and they were very attentive to us. The cheese plate was delicious and plated gorgeously. We lucked out and got the french onion soup as our second course which was very well done. Our one disappointment was the stuffed portobello. Both the flavor and texture were off and it just felt a little mushy and not appetizing. The cocktails were fantastic and the pistachio ice cream paired with the espresso martini was absolutely decadent. I wish I could give 4.5 stars because my only complaint is the portabella dish, but otherwise it was a wonderful date night and I would highly recommend.“

“Our server was a pro. No knock on him, they were just busy and ran out of the full chicken dinner by 630. Delicious food. Mac and cheese was piled high and flavorful. Get the green sauce. The BBQ sauce is a little sweet for my taste. We prefer to eat upstairs, but it's adults only. We are no strangers to dining with little kids and there were plenty of young families eating downstairs. My heart goes out to them. Been there. Done that. Haha!“

“The interior is nice, many tables and seating at the bar. Some TVs with sports but never a raucous sports crowd. Amazing beer selection on tap including Russian River as well as a few mixed drinks on tap and bottles to make drinks (seldom happens). I have had all of the tacos and most of the sandwiches. They are all nicely put together with good ingredients, and the pricing is the norm of expensive for these days in a place such as Bellingham. Staff are an eclectic crowd and generally very friendly, welcoming and interesting if there is a minute to chat.“

“Service can take a minute because the bartenders are so busy but overall a great experience if you're there to play some video games. Drinks are really cool too and buying a drink gets you access to the console games free of additional charge.Kid-friendliness: Kids are only allowed until 7pm, just to keep in mind.“

“I was so pleasantly surprised. We came in based on a hotel voucher (Heliotrope). The service and food exceeded expectations. I requested no carbs. My salmon came on a delicious bed of sautéed bok choy, fennel, and shiitake. The salmon was perfectly cooked. The waitress was exceptionally attentive and warm.I highly recommend.“

“We highly recommend this restaurant for local Mexican food! We ordered take out over the phone and the staff were incredibly easy to work with. Once receiving our food, there was a warm bag of complimentary tortilla chips and the meal portion sizes were huge! All the food was delicious, including the veggie options. We hope you get to enjoy the same experience.“
“This place is fantastic. Excellent drinks in a cozy, welcoming bar. Small seating capacity - a couple cocktail tables, 5 bar seats, and a couch area with a coffee table. There is a step into here so (edited when they clarified!) for alternate wheelchair accessible entry just check in with the staff!<3“

“Fun and comfortable lounge! My sister and I stopped in for a pre dinner beverage, it's centrally located so quick and easy walk to many places. We had beauty school dropout cocktails, delicious and refreshing. Very pleased to see mocktail/NA offerings too! Friendly service and very cool vibe,“

“Dark, old-school speakeasy ambiance, equally traditional old school drinks, local taps and some creative surprises (ask about the frozè) await you at Southside, the slightly more fun/less spartan big brother to Jack's (in downtown B-ham). Unusual snacks and sharables round out their simple menu, including a selection of tinned fishes with crackers, spicy nuts, pickle plates, and warm Brie with apples and bread. Fun and yummy, but this is not a restaurant; it's a cocktail bar, so not really a dinner option for most tastes. They get extra points for having the now-rare and much maligned cocktail onion, and even a savory cocktail (The Businessman's Lunch) that features it as a garnish. I love a good Gibson, too, and these savory cocktails with the pickled onion pair well with the fish snacks on their menu. Nicely done!Prices are high, but the excellent, exacting cocktails and upbeat, attentive service makes it a worthy splurge for a little celebration. Recommended!“

“Great hidden wood-fired pizza place in the pocket of Fairhaven a few steps from Fairhaven Village Inn hotel and down the hill from the Village Bookstore.Cute sit down fast casual restaurant, relatively small place with around 15-20 tables with an additional semi covered seating area outside. If you have a party larger than 5, I suggest calling to see if there is an inside option available. We ordered the Matterhorn pizza 12” and full Kale Caesar Salad which was plenty of food for us (2 adults). The Matterhorn is a must get with cheesy béchamel, Gruyere, thin potatoes, caramelized onions, and slightly sausage on a smoky, crispy yet chewy crust. Definitely one of the best pizzas we’ve had ever and wish this place was closer to our home. The homemade lemonades are delicious, slightly more tart than sweet which we love and I personally liked the rosemary option to give the lemonade an herbal flare. The Kale Caesar has my favorite cheese, grana padano, an anchovy base Caesar dressing, and a couple of lemon slices. I’m a big fan of anchovy to give a little salty flavor to the dressing especially when paired with the acidity of the lemons. The salad is well balanced and light to complement the pizza. Our server was super sweet and excited that we tried her favorite menu items.Overall amazing dining experience. Next time we are in Fairhaven, we will definitely stop by!“

“Went with family for a business conversation. We had an excellent table and service was prompt. I have eaten a vegan diet for over 6 years and yet Carnal is still one of my favorite restaurants in town. I had 2 salads and a potato side dish, all three of these were exceptional. My guests had the flank steak and the ribs, and I have to say it looked delicious. They both said their meal was excellent and the servings were large enough that they had food to take home.“

“Pretty good. Love the 5-7 daily happy hour ($5 drinks). Sometimes I feel terrible after I drink both the gamma ray and Cassiopeia but that's definitely my fault for ordering the two most sugary drinks (they taste so good) but they have lots of other less sugary options and the space theme of the bar is so cool. I love the blue room with the stars and black lights. I've never had a bad experience with the service and the bartenders are always nice.“

“Really enjoyed our experience! New to town and I am excited to have a go-to restaurant like this in the Bellingham area. Polished design, very attentive service, unique menu (the right size for me as I don't like large menus) and every dish was delicious and integrated well together. The carrot dish was our favorite appetizer. Minor improvements would be to serve less sauce on all the entrees (duck, steak & fish) as the meat was cooked perfectly but overshadowed. Entrees were a little salty overall, but did not notice that on the appetizers. Definitely recommend and will be back!Dietary restrictions: Most of the dishes were gluten free which was great!“

“Probably the best burgers in town IMO. Fries are great and service is good.I always leave some sort of constructive feedback on all reviews so here it is:The visibility of the tap list on the wall is extremely low. It is black lettering on a dark green wall in low lighting. This makes it difficult for those with vision impairments including the elderly and color blind individuals to read.To be more accessible and inclusive of these people groups, I would recommend painting the letters white and/or mounting a spotlight to increase visibility.“

“Overlooking Bellingham bay, Keenan’s features northwest inspired cuisine and cocktails, served by their expert staff. Heated outdoor dining in all seasons, comfortable indoor seating as well, full bar, and specialty cocktails. Locally sourced, with plenty of gluten free and vegetarian options. We eat here at least once every time we are in Bellingham! 5/5, would recommend!“

“This is the highest class restaurant Ferndale has been waiting for. I had brought my aunt and uncle to this, expecting Roberto's excellent reputation. The food and drinks were excellent, and we didn't have an issue being there over 3 hours. Roberto and team deserve high praise, quality service, ingredients, and preparation work consistently shown. I will definitely be bringing my co-workers to this relaxing, high class experience.“
