“I always had a great rapport with Shelly at your A Street location and was wondering why she was let go. So I called the other location thinking that she moved over to the other location and was RUDELY greeted by some “God Awful Barista” there. I barely got in a sentence and she said, sorry, and HUNG UP on me. What kind of ATTITUDE brings this on and why did she compel to do what she did. I should’ve gotten her name but I could barely get in my complaint with her that this really irritated me for sure! “This place has super friendly folks and fair prices and lots of cute knick knacks for sale. It's extremely conveniently located for my commute back to Seattle, so I come here fairly often. My only minor nitpick is actually about the quality of their espresso: they pretty consistently pull rather bitter shots. I can't tell if it's a training issue or an issue with service on their machine or perhaps just the beans they use or the consistency of the grind, but it's always off. I asked them to pour their shots directly over ice which seems to help a little bit but I do wish this place could consistently deliver solid expresso. If you're reading this and work there: check for residuals on the group head and shower screen, Ensure the grind is not too fine, and don't over-tamp the coffee. If it tastes sour it's being overextracted the above should fix this.“

“This was probably the very first boba place I ever tried in WA back in 2004. I love them and always seem to come back multiple times a year, they keep their menu simple. Since 2004, there are now many places you can get boba drinks from. This is the best in the immediate area. I also like when boba places seal their drinks on the top like they do.

Kid-friendliness: I do wish they had smaller sizes for the kids.“

“My daughter and I just had Afternoon Tea at The Pink Chandelier!! Surprisingly I had NEVER been in there before 😱 (shame on me, I've lived in Puyallup 20+ years). The boutique is stunning! Every inch tastefully has something sparkly and wonderful to see, to which my daughter had to stop and admire. "Oh mommy, look at this!" "Oh mommy, this is beautiful!!" Lunch and the tea service was EXCELLENT too! She had hot chocolate in a tea pot that she could pour into her tea cup. They made sure her sandwich and pastries were gluten free and my soup and chicken salad croissant sandwich was the 🩷 BEST 🩷 I have had since I can remember. We will become frequent attendees going forward!“

Every single macaroon is amazing and is double the filling of a regular macaroon. The flavors are fun and they all look too cute or pretty to eat. “I’ve been coming here for a couple years. The service is usually great and the coffee is good. In fact, I drive a good 10 minutes out of my way almost every day to get coffee here. Hannah, one of the newer girls, had extremely disappointing service today and I'm not sure I'll be back. Hannah said hello, how are you? I responded and apparently she didn’t hear me. She repeated herself with a tone, to which I responded that I had said hi? She responded , well I didn’t hear you then asked for my order. To which she still couldn’t clearly hear me . She asked me again to repeat myself. So I did more loudly and then she got rude. Saying I’m only asking you to speak up because the machines are loud. I’ve never had such issues with having to raise my voice but if you continually ask me to speak louder and I do, don’t insinuate that I’m being rude when I’m doing what you asked? She got both drink orders wrong so I guess she really couldn’t hear me or was being vindictive about purposely making them incorrect. I asked for one drink hot and she made it iced. The other drink I asked for extra ice and she gave me extra water (as seen in pic) . She remade my hot order without apology, however very slowly which didn’t bother me to be patient . But I felt like she was purposely being slow because she was upset at me. She handed me my drink without another word. That being said I’m still rating this place 4 stars . Minus one star for Hannah and the occasional inconsistent quality of drinks from all my visits. Still not sure if I’ll be returning as I don’t want another encounter with Hannah. I supported this shop so long because I much prefer to go out of my way to support a local shop versus popular chains.“

“My wife and I wanted to get some coffee and decided to try the Rosewood since it's close to home. What a great place. The coffee was great. The wait staff were professional, friendly, and prompt. They went out of their way, especially Elijah, to make sure we were having a good experience. We will be back. I highly recommend this place.“

“The chips were on the thinner side which I like. I was nearly falling asleep at any moment after a long day, and the chips alone seemed to be just the fuel that I needed to make me feel much better! The salsa was also nice. I liked the consistency that was the right combination between smooth and chunky. I also thought it was a good amount of spiciness, and I didn't even ask if they had a spicier option like I do a lot of the time.“

The crew is always nice and willing to customize your drink and food however you need. If you've never been inside, I highly recommend giving their space a chance. The theme is Mary Poppins, (if the name doesn't already give it away) so even if you don't opt for dine-in, you have plenty of knick knacks and treasures to look at while you wait for your guilty pleasure. “I picked up the rib plate and an order of lumpia while attending the evergreen fair. It was pouring rain- which was not the vibe for the fair- but the food was delish. The lumpia were long, and the ends were twisted so there was crunchy end parts (yumm!). The ribs were delicious- Fall of the bone. Some of them were light on meat, but they were so good! The mac salad was yummy, and I loves the seasoning on the rice. I will eat here again this week!“

This was my second visit and I got their new Brown Sugar Milk and added Boba into it (super good and aesthetically pleasing as well).
