“If you’re a spooky guy or gal like me who wants a fabulous design for your wedding/event cake, the Wanna Cupcake team has GOT you! I didn’t find many review photos of full size cakes in my research, so I was worried my ask was too tall, but man did this shop deliver! They totally nailed the inspiration photo I sent, it came out identical to my vision. We ordered a 6 inch cutting cake and enough cupcakes for 1.5 per guest, and they were a huge hit! It was also a huge relief to have the delivery and setup option for our wedding day; Hannah delivered our cakes at the perfect temp for our outdoor event, and even helped our coordinator set and design the cake table! My husband and I couldn’t be more thrilled with how our cake turned out for our special day. Massive THANK YOU to Karie, Hannah, and Jennavieve for maintaining timely communication with us throughout the year, you all made this such an easy and fun process! Everyone we communicated with was so helpful and sweet. Much love and gratitude from this spooky gal to you all!

“Everything. All of it. 10/10 Great energy and kid friendly. I stop by almost every morning for a Spiced Chai and have never been disappointed. The crew is always nice and willing to customize your drink and food however you need. If you've never been inside, I highly recommend giving their space a chance. The theme is Mary Poppins, (if the name doesn't already give it away) so even if you don't opt for dine-in, you have plenty of knick knacks and treasures to look at while you wait for your guilty pleasure. Don't pass on this cute family cafe.“

“We have lived in several places and have tried lots of places here and elsewhere that sold banh mi sandwiches but these are the best banh mi sandwiches we have had! We think they might make their own buns because they are so very tasty and just as good as the fresh baguettes we had when we lived in France! The sandwich ingredients are fresh and flavorful and we especially love the wonderful paté they include on them, unless you tell them you are vegetarian or vegan. They make the paté themselves and it is also as delicious as any we used to have in France! We like their rice bowls too. If you haven’t been to the “Toast Mi”…located in Lacey…we highly recommend seeking it out and giving it a try. If you like banh mi sandwiches, you will be happy that you did!“

“Wow, what an improvement over the prior owners...These young ladies serve up some amazing fresh wholesome pastries and my mocha latte with almond milk and cinnamon was so delicious... there's plenty of parking🤗. Definitely deserves the five star rating🤗“

“First order: I was really excited. The portions felt on par with what I would expect for the cost, and most importantly, the meals seemed fresh. The flavors were really good and packaged well. As someone who hates leftovers, I really enjoyed my first order. I would have given 4/5 stars.

My second order this week, not so much. (Maybe I ordered the wrong things this week). The breakfast portions were small (I was still hungry afterward), and the quality didn’t feel the same as the week before. The scrambled eggs with asparagus turned the eggs slimy and brown—not the most appealing. Dinners during the second week were decent but included fillers, like what appeared to be canned green beans. More roasted broccoli would have felt better, in my opinion.

So it depends on the week, I guess. I already ordered for next week, so we’ll see. I’ll update my review if the quality improves. I would order again for convenience (I’m currently postpartum, so having premade meals is super helpful!), but for this price point, I would expect the quality to stay consistent or improve.“

“One of the most filling breakfasts I've had since going to the south. Great portion sizes and every meal has a wonderful consistent flavor profile. The espresso martini wasnt overpowering and the complimentary cucumber water really took it over the top for me. Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing brunch spot.“

“The strawberry and cream cheese croffle is amazing. You can’t go wrong with either the strawberry or Oreo bingsu either. Every single macaroon is amazing and is double the filling of a regular macaroon. The flavors are fun and they all look too cute or pretty to eat. “By mischance our coffee was spilt, a small calamity of our own making. Yet Rachel and Cassidy bore it with uncommon grace and good cheer, offering help without delay and treating us with true kindness. Such courtesy is a rare thing and speaks well of the stand they keep.
The coffee itself was most excellent! well made, warm, and pleasing to the taste. But it was their patience and goodwill that marked this place above others. Where frustration might have met us, we found instead generosity and smiles.

“Spotted this place on our way through Tacoma and so glad we stopped! Got the taro strawberry with oat milk — creamy, layered, and beautifully balanced between the nutty taro and fruity strawberry. Also tried the mango lychee, which was refreshing and perfectly sweet without being sugary. Both drinks were gorgeous to look at and even better to drink. Cute aesthetic inside too, with a “there’s no place like Jodo” neon sign that’s perfect for pics. Hands down some of the best boba we’ve had — highly recommend!“

“I attended an event the Tacoma Chapter NAACP held at the Jazzy's cafe in Tacoma. This was my first time at this establishment. The event was well attended by NAACP members from Alaska, Oregon and Washington. DJ TV Lee a well known DJ from Washington provided music. The establishment is small but everyone had a good time. This is a nice place to have lunch maybe dinner and drinks. Recommend people check it out. Employees very professional as well as the owner.“
