Everybody feels like family there. Even though it’s located in the city limits, it has that small-town bar charm that’s getting harder to find.

The staff is awesome, and the food is even better. I’ve tried just about everything on the menu, and it’s all solid—but the tuna melt is my go-to, and the taco salad is huge (definitely enough for two people).

Josh, the owner, is a great guy. Quiet and soft-spoken, but always kind and genuine. The Summit is a spot that does things right—good food, good people, and a place where you’re always welcome.“

“Serves mainly pizza only other thing on the menu are paninis and salads. Growing up Italian I would have liked to see more panini options. Pies were small a bit greasy but overall pretty damn good. I didn’t get drunk there but if I was the pizza would have been the perfect remedy. The lady with the short hair served me I didn’t get her name but she was professional, friendly, fast, attentive and a great overall bartender and server. Drinks wee reasonably priced and specialty mixed drinks displayed on the wall with prices. Gentleman in the kitchen was also fast with orders cooked to perfection. I went with the double club on rye, and it was a beast of a sandwich! Thick-sliced carved turkey, generous strips of thick bacon, ham, cheese, lettuce, and tomato stacked high—hearty and satisfying. I swapped out the usual fries for hash browns and added a side of their house-made cornbread stuffing. Wow! Everything was served hot, fresh, and fast.

Salad was excellent, as well as the bread sticks. However, once again, the Alfredo sauce was blank and lacked seasoning. I'm so happy I had the waitress add grated cheese to it. I added salt and pepper, but I was disappointed. Service was excellent along with the atmosphere. I just wish food was back on track.“

“Large group of us for an early morning breakfast. We had checked ahead and they do request reservations for groups larger than 6. No problem setting that up.

The owner herself waited on us and was patient and friendly.

Food came out in reasonable time and everyone was happy with the food. One of our group remarked about how much they loved the hashbrowns. My daughter loved the breakfast tacos.

The owner said they normally request one bill for large groups, but she had no problems splitting up our table and handled it all well.“
