“#mylocalseattlehangout It’s important for me to feel at home somewhere, regardless of where I am… to call it my favorite “go-to”. (My home-base is Maryland). These guys really bring some comfort to my stay at Mercer Island. Thank you Jason, for creating a “Crawlspace” for this weary traveler/healthcare worker. I found a place where I can just relax every week (maybe twice a week), and help with some of my homesickness. The food always hits the spot, no matter what I’ve ordered. And the drinks… good stuff!!! My favorites are the spam musibi, the seared ahi, and the japchae with bulgogi! They even have their jokes for me already, and know that I don’t like spicy. “I went to Homegrown yesterday and, as always, had a great experience. The staff were so kind, friendly, and welcoming. The atmosphere was warm and relaxed.
Their food is always fresh and delicious — you can really taste the quality in every bite. I especially love their matcha chicken salad. It's one of my favorite spots for a healthy and tasty breakfast or lunch. Highly recommend! 🌿🥪✨“

“Stumbled upon Slicebox the other day having driven past it on my daily commute. Being from Upstate NY I was quite impressed with the quality of the slices. From NY Slices to Sicilian and Pan Pizza. The pan pizza was amazing with pepperoni and hot honey!“

Everything felt very balanced and nothing was overly sweet, and that includes the cream filled horn and the blueberry pastry with caramel underneath.

“I have been going to this Evergreens location for a few years now and I'm very impressed with how well the staff handles the massive lunch rushes. The manager, Cassie, is always so nice and helpful, along with the rest of the staff. Highly recommend!“

“Today was our first time visiting Seattle and we were craving some Indian food. Taste of Indian did NOT disappoint me. The Tikka masala and naan were phenomenal. The service was also amazing. The staff is extremely friendly and very attentive. The atmosphere was also very relaxed and welcoming. I was given a complimentary refill of my reisling and they also give you a little slice of cheesecake at the end of your meal. “I love this place. The food is always fresh with well balanced flavors, with lots of options depending on the flavor palette and proteins you are looking for. The value is excellent, with generous portions of protein in all my go-to entrees. I love the sushi burritos and poke bowls, especially.

The staff are all great, always kind and very attentive to my questions. They have always been kind to accommodate any modification requests I have to my order. I have been coming to Deli Queen regularly since April of this year. As a new transplant to Washington, it has become a comforting place to eat for me.“
