“#mylocalseattlehangout It’s important for me to feel at home somewhere, regardless of where I am… to call it my favorite “go-to”. (My home-base is Maryland). These guys really bring some comfort to my stay at Mercer Island. Thank you Jason, for creating a “Crawlspace” for this weary traveler/healthcare worker. I found a place where I can just relax every week (maybe twice a week), and help with some of my homesickness. The food always hits the spot, no matter what I’ve ordered. And the drinks… good stuff!!! My favorites are the spam musibi, the seared ahi, and the japchae with bulgogi! They even have their jokes for me already, and know that I don’t like spicy. “I went to Homegrown yesterday and, as always, had a great experience. The staff were so kind, friendly, and welcoming. The atmosphere was warm and relaxed.
Their food is always fresh and delicious — you can really taste the quality in every bite. I especially love their matcha chicken salad. It's one of my favorite spots for a healthy and tasty breakfast or lunch. Highly recommend! 🌿🥪✨“

My husband and I stopped here on our way to get groceries and had the horchata latte and the churro latte. Both were really good and not too sweet. We loved that the drinks came with a little piece of cake on the lid. We had their breakfast sandwiches on bagels and they were delicious. There was the option to add avocado, tomato, and/or lettuce and we both added all of that. The salsa verde is super good too.

“Nick's was a delightful stop on my Madison walkabout. Service at the bar was attentive and helpful, and my shrimp cocktail tangy and fresh. Drinks were solid as well. The bar seats could maybe use a refresh though. Vibes inside were definitely neighborhood focussed - felt like Nick's is a local favorite.“

“Absolutely fire sushi spot. Fish tasted super fresh, rolls were packed and actually worth the price, and the presentation was clean. Staff was friendly and fast even when it got busy. The spicy tuna roll and salmon nigiri were probably some of the best I’ve had in a while. Atmosphere was chill, good music, and overall just a solid place to eat. Definitely coming back.“

Ordered for a party… Tandoori paneer pizza, and cheese pizza - former was a hit with the grown-ups, and the kiddos loved the latter.
If you’ve ordered from CanAm before, these ones are on the same lines, but feel lighter, and just the right punch of flavor.
The only thing I’d suggest is to let the folks know of your spice level preference - the default spice levels on the indian pizzas maybe on slightly higher side, which I am sure they can adjust per your order.
Loved the fresh ingredients, freshly baked dough, just the right amount of cheese/spice blend, and on-time service.
Definitely ordering again when in Bellevue!“

The following Monday, I was greeted in the office by my entire team raving about how amazing the food and service were. Every dish was packed with flavor and crafted with quality. With team members who are gluten-free, it was crucial to find a restaurant that offered more than just a basic salad. A Stir exceeded expectations with a full menu of creative, nutritious dishes and an extensive selection of wine, cider, and gluten-free beer. On the morning of our reservation, I received a thoughtful email from the executive chef, Ton, with personalized recommendations. This added such a nice touch and made the experience even smoother for my team. Our reservation was at 6:15, and when my team arrived, dishes were freshly served, hot, and ready—a perfect way to unwind after a long few days at the conference. My only complaint and the only reason that I didn't give them 5 stars for atmosphere is because it was hot as Hades in there. “I love this place. The food is always fresh with well balanced flavors, with lots of options depending on the flavor palette and proteins you are looking for. The value is excellent, with generous portions of protein in all my go-to entrees. I love the sushi burritos and poke bowls, especially.

The staff are all great, always kind and very attentive to my questions. They have always been kind to accommodate any modification requests I have to my order. I have been coming to Deli Queen regularly since April of this year. As a new transplant to Washington, it has become a comforting place to eat for me.“

“Today was our first time visiting Seattle and we were craving some Indian food. Taste of Indian did NOT disappoint me. The Tikka masala and naan were phenomenal. The service was also amazing. The staff is extremely friendly and very attentive. The atmosphere was also very relaxed and welcoming. “This place is lovely, especially on a week day when it's less likely to be crazy busy. I took my brother and father here when they were visiting last week. My brother and I had the egg and bacon breakfast sandwich, my dad has the peanut butter toast, we shared the breakfast potatoes and had three cups of coffee (two drip one americano). The total cost was over $100 with tip. The food was really good, but pricey. Seating was limited because it was very busy, so we took an open table in their main ordering space. It was pretty noisy and hard to hear each other. That said, this is a great place to come hang out for a luxurious cafe breakfast if price isn't a big concern.“

“First time there. Didn't know what to order. Server was very polite but I wished she knows which burgers are best sellers when I asked what's the most popular burger combo.
Clean place, atmosphere was comfortable. The burger itself was a bit smaller for my eyes but it got the job done.“

“Takeout only, so plan accordingly, no seating. Parking is street only, but there's a loading zone right out front that's easy to pull up to. I got the combo with chicken teriyaki and spicy garlic chicken. Order was ready when I arrived, which I appreciated.

The teriyaki had good char marks and solid flavor, exactly what you want from teriyaki. The spicy garlic chicken I'd put at maybe a 2/5 on heat, so don't go in expecting anything intense. It's pretty mild, west coast spicy. I actually wanted more flavor and heat from it, but my partner thought it was way too spicy, so there's a wide range there. Between the two, I preferred the spicy garlic. Rice was cooked well.

Next on my list is the bang bang chicken. It's also connected to Salad Party, which is run by the same owners. Haven't tried it yet but I’m very curious.“
