I’ve eaten pho all over the Seattle area — from downtown Tacoma to Everett and Marysville — and I can confidently say that Top Pho in Fife is one of the very best. Having lived in Asia for six years, including time in Seoul, South Korea, I’ve experienced a wide variety of Korean and Southeast Asian cuisine. The pho here has an incredibly authentic taste, with rich, flavorful broth, fresh herbs, and perfectly prepared noodles. The portion sizes are generous, the prices are reasonable, and the service is warm and welcoming. The staff are kind and attentive, and the restaurant is spotless — clean, comfortable, and inviting. This has truly been one of the most positive dining experiences I’ve had. “We were surprised on how charming it was once inside (for it being next to Fred Meyer). Well decorated, clean, and good service. The Bum Mam soup was filling and had a wonderful broth. My husband had the clay-pot chicken dish and we loved how it tasted like roasted duck with how they prepared it. “This review is based off of the one time I've gone. I went after work with my colleagues, they stayed and had their food, I got mine to go. All of them enjoyed their dishes. When I got home and ate my food, I was very surprised.
Because of where I live, I eat a lot of Vietnamese food. This place was definitely different. First of all, the staff were very nice. Secondly, the noodle salad was unlike others I've had. The highest praise goes to the shrimp. I've never had a shrimp roll as good as this was. The ingredients were fresh and delicious. I will definitely come back to try more dishes. “I have loved their food for years but they went above and beyond today. I ordered pho with steak and chicken chow mien for delivery. They called to let me know they were short on steak and asked if I like shrimp. I do! They added chicken and shrimp at no extra charge and threw in a Thai tea for free as well. Generous portions and fresh ingredients; medium pho is plenty. This Wendy’s Vietnamese restaurant is the BEST!! Thanks for excellent service and great food every time!“

“I just discovered this Vietnamese restaurant in Auburn, Washington. It serves some of the best pho (noodles) around. I like the noodle texture, it’s perfectly cooked, and the broth is so flavorful. There’s a good balance of meat as well. We had two large bowls, and it was $14.95 per bowl. A decent portion for the price.

I would have given this place a five-star review, but for the following reasons.

1). When we went inside the restaurant, no one greeted us. I had to wave to the people in the back, and the grandma showed up. My wife and I were sitting at a dining table with a bench that seats up to four people. She brought us a menu and told us to sit at a smaller table with two chairs. The whole restaurant was vacant. There were no customers beside us, so we were a little puzzled by that.

2). After dropping off the menu, she never came back. I noticed six different customers come in and place an order with her at the counter. I was wondering about it and decided to take the menu to her and ask if I needed to order from her at the counter. That’s when she said, “yes, you order here.” So I placed my order with her, paid for it, and tipped her at the counter as well. I wish she had told me about it when she dropped off the menu. Maybe she told us in Vietnamese, but we didn’t understand it.

3). The restaurant is a bit crowded with plants, and they have the heat up pretty high to keep the plants alive. It was not while trying to enjoy a hot bowl of noodles.

I like the noodles. But about 45 minutes after we left, my wife threw up. Not sure what it was. I just noticed the noodles were a bit oily, that’s about it. Could be the fat ring in the bowl of soup.“

“My daughters and I went there toniqht. We had the beef, and chicken pho' with a side of spring rolls. The service was friendly, inviting, and the pho was excellent, with the broth being so flavorful, and the portions were just right. The spring rolls had a refreshing minty twist to them that paired well with the pho. We'll definitely be going back to try more menu items seeing that we enjoyed our first visit. 5☆ all the way around!“

“Absolutely amazing experience! I had the teriyaki and katsu, and both were delicious. My girlfriend ordered a bento box and loved it as well. The food was fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned.

What really made our visit special was the incredible staff. The woman working there I think her name is Sarah was so kind and welcoming—she even took a picture of us and hung it on the wall with photos of other customers. “We have lived in several places and have tried lots of places here and elsewhere that sold banh mi sandwiches but these are the best banh mi sandwiches we have had! We think they might make their own buns because they are so very tasty and just as good as the fresh baguettes we had when we lived in France! The sandwich ingredients are fresh and flavorful and we especially love the wonderful paté they include on them, unless you tell them you are vegetarian or vegan. They make the paté themselves and it is also as delicious as any we used to have in France! We like their rice bowls too. If you haven’t been to the “Toast Mi”…located in Lacey…we highly recommend seeking it out and giving it a try. If you like banh mi sandwiches, you will be happy that you did!“

“I want to preface this by saying it was an Uber Eats order, so my expectations were not very high. That said, whoever made my order on November 27, 2025 around 8 p.m. absolutely nailed it. This was hands down the best spicy chicken ramen I have had in the Tacoma/Puyallup area.
