“Very small , well designed and decorated cozy restaurant with lovely water views only if you arrive by 4pm or are lucky enough to grab a window you will not be disappointed. The other small room is very special too.The salmon with wild rice was prepared to perfection. Both the generous sized Ceasar salad and greens salad were wonderful. The panecotta with fresh strawberries for dessert was a delightful ending to an excellent meal.Finally.The service was great.Highly recommend .Wheelchair accessibility: No problem .Bathroom is accessible too.“
“Another fabulous dinner on the Orchard Kitchen’s covered farm field…9 courses of delicious amazing local foods crafter with attention to such detail…spectacular service, perfect wine pairings…a unique and special dining experience, thank you chef Nattress!“
“I would give this place 10 stars if I could. My husband and I split a reuben.. The food was incredible, the staff was great, the locals sitting next to us were super friendly and the atmosphere sitting outside with a little tea pot for my hot tea was the best. I was in Washington for a week and it may have been my favorite moment.“
“Was staying on Whidbey Island for just the weekend and had this cafe recommended by a friend. I had breakfast here twice. The food is incredible and so is the service. The latte literally made me say out loud “Now that’s a damn good latte!” And I always thought a latte is a latte, it tastes good or okay. Nope, this one blew my mind! Changed my perspective on good coffee. My favorite thing about this cafe though was that there were soo many staff. More staff than small cafes and restaurants normally have. Therefore everything was so quick and the employees were so laid back, relaxed, talking and laughing and obviously enjoying their jobs and their lives. It really made the whole homey atmosphere more comfortable and enjoyable. 10/10 would come to this cafe every single time I visit this island.“
“Where to start? The place was crowded so had to wait..their wait time texting app was informative and time flew by. The staff was friendly and upbeat. The happy service was timely, for the island, and the meals were outstanding. Our friends opted for lunch and the scrumptious looking Rueben sandwiches...wow, loaded with meat. We decided to try breakfast, wife had "the mash" which was tasty, ample and filling. I wanted to experiment on something unusual...and had "the nasty"...what a treat and so much food. The chicken, yes chicken, was done to perfection, with one of the best and crispiest coatings. The biscuit and sausage gravy were top tier. Oh yes, they served strong, robust, and hot coffee...worth the cost. This was a very positive experience...and we are going back.“
“The Taproom is for everyone, and I do mean everyone! Friends, family, quiet time to yourself, the best of the best. Everything on their menu is scrumptious, do yourself a favor and order the Cubano. You can thank me later ?An especially important shout out to the AMAZING staff and owner ?You all go above and beyond to make sure every visit and, visitor's are treated like family.“
“The food was amazing and the service was exceptional. I’ve forgotten the name of our server, but he was tall and hair pulled back in a low bun (just want him to get praise!). Chris the manager came by the table as well and was also so friendly and welcoming. My husband said the braised chicken was the best he’s had and my risotto was a total win. Will be back again!“
“This is by far the best Mexican I have had in Washington since moving here. (They serve Mexican 3 nights a week but are also an amazing breakfast food). The building was beautiful with great staff and a warm atmosphere. If you are ever on the island definitely check this place out.“
