“Do not know what some people are talking about, we had the Hot and Sour soup was the best we've had in many years then the Chinese peppered Pork Chops. OMG the best I've had in 26 years. This place is inviting and the food is great.“

“Ok, since the other owners sold we’ve been a little disappointed with Happy…tonight they hit it out of the park! Idk what was different but OMG, the spicy chicken teriyaki was actually a 5! My husbands nose was running and I couldn’t stop steeling it off his plate! The sweet and sour YUMMMMMM!!!! (I did have to request extra sauce but that’s ok!) Whatever it is keep it up! Will be going back very soon!“

“Authentic? Probably not. But delicious to common American palates. Large portions, freshly made, reasonably priced. Restrooms cleanish. Dining room loud and cold, so wear a coat or sweater. Crumbl cookie place just down the street, and it is worth a visit.“

“One of the best Asian restaurants in Tacoma. I just had the combination (Souper) large size Pho and it was delicious. The broth is really good with a generous portion of high quality beef and meatballs. Even the bean sprouts and basil were crunchy and fresh. This place also serves Chinese and Thai (common in the Northwest) food but I didn't try it.“

“This place gave me the best experience of Korean-style Chinese food in the U.S. I’m originally from South Korea and lived in New York for the past four years, so I was really concerned about finding good food after moving to the Puget Sound area. New York is such a food paradise, especially for people from all over the world.

But now, I’m so happy I found this place 🥲 The food here was absolutely better than anything I had in Flushing or K-Town in NYC. I really wanted to eat Jjajangmyeon, and I’m so glad I didn’t let the older reviews stop me — they almost pushed me to try a different restaurant. The new owner just took over a month ago, and you can really taste the difference. Thank you so much for the amazing food!“

“The definition of a mom & pop shop that cares about what they do. Food is consistently great. I always order take out and the dishes are still always well-prepared and presented, quick service, etc. If you’re in the area and haven’t tried it then you’re robbing yourself.“

When it’s not busy they have time to visit with you and the cooks you never see but the food that comes out of the kitchen so some of the best ever definitely the best locally I’m a picky person when I order and they are so nice to make me happy. And I always come back“

“The food here is amazing, such an almost hidden gem. Owner at the front is very nice and whips up the food so fast. 15 minutes and I'm eating more than I can usually handle but its oh so yummy. Kids had the Pho and 10/10 would recommend; we had chicken teriyaki and have had some of the other teriyakis and they are all good 🤤🤤“

“I am giving this specific panda location a 5-star just for Nathan! I have been so lucky to come in when he’s on shift and he is always so polite, so welcoming, and very accommodating! He never makes a face, snicker, eye roll or deep breathe in frustration when my kids or myself are being indecisive. He always answers our questions with a smile, patience and upmost respect! Somebody somewhere should make him a manager! Love him! NATHAN is his name!“
