“Do not know what some people are talking about, we had the Hot and Sour soup was the best we've had in many years then the Chinese peppered Pork Chops. OMG the best I've had in 26 years. This place is inviting and the food is great.“

“Ok, since the other owners sold we’ve been a little disappointed with Happy…tonight they hit it out of the park! Idk what was different but OMG, the spicy chicken teriyaki was actually a 5! My husbands nose was running and I couldn’t stop steeling it off his plate! The sweet and sour YUMMMMMM!!!! (I did have to request extra sauce but that’s ok!) Whatever it is keep it up! Will be going back very soon!“

“Authentic? Probably not. But delicious to common American palates. Large portions, freshly made, reasonably priced. Restrooms cleanish. Dining room loud and cold, so wear a coat or sweater. Crumbl cookie place just down the street, and it is worth a visit.“

“This is a very solid Asian fusion style restaurant with a strong takeout presence. They have a descent menu but their Vietnamese food tends to be better than their Chinese Food. The souper salad is a nice option if you are looker for a liter option but still strong flavors.
One of the biggest draw back is they continue to have health department with Okay and or needs improvement ratings.“

“This place gave me the best experience of Korean-style Chinese food in the U.S. I’m originally from South Korea and lived in New York for the past four years, so I was really concerned about finding good food after moving to the Puget Sound area. New York is such a food paradise, especially for people from all over the world.

But now, I’m so happy I found this place 🥲 The food here was absolutely better than anything I had in Flushing or K-Town in NYC. I really wanted to eat Jjajangmyeon, and I’m so glad I didn’t let the older reviews stop me — they almost pushed me to try a different restaurant. “The definition of a mom & pop shop that cares about what they do. Food is consistently great. I always order take out and the dishes are still always well-prepared and presented, quick service, etc. If you’re in the area and haven’t tried it then you’re robbing yourself.“

“A gem in the middle of a strip mall. We stoped in spontaneously after shopping and were happy to see vegetarian options. Their tofu teriyaki dish was generously portioned and very tasty! As was the tofu fried rice dish. Also very flavorful and plentiful. The egg soup and hot tea were welcome on a cold rainy day. Atmosphere was welcoming. Clean tables and surroundings, and friendly service. Will come back!“

“The food here is amazing, such an almost hidden gem. Owner at the front is very nice and whips up the food so fast. 15 minutes and I'm eating more than I can usually handle but its oh so yummy. Kids had the Pho and 10/10 would recommend; we had chicken teriyaki and have had some of the other teriyakis and they are all good 🤤🤤“

“I wasn't sure how they were going to be when I first saw them coming to Tacoma Mall after getting bad reviews from other locations. But then as I saw people lining up more, I eventually tried them myself and the 3 times I've eaten there so far, there's been no problem. Food was very good, prices decent.“
