“Only thing I'll complain about, is no vegetarian kimchi*** served (no fish sauce, anchovies, squid ink) with the bbq short ribs or korean kalbi beef [exquisite job to chefs]!
Sushi, on the other spectrum- all was delicious; between my little sister (which was visiting from Montana), our mother filled up on miso soups, 2 yellowtail, 2 spider rolls of the 6 & the salad n white rice...
Hopefully, next time visiting- vegetarian Kimchi will be an option, even if $7 charge for all you can have while dining 😉 !
Kid-friendliness: Depending on your child's palate*
Wheelchair accessibility: Back door entry is, while they are working on fixing issues with front door (street parking)-“

“We accidently found this restaurant and so glad we did. The food was exceptional and very inexpensive for the quality and service. The beef bulgogi pot stickers and tempura prawns were the best we have found in WA yet. Even though I am not a fan of spicy food - the Rose Combo (sorry I forgot the name) was the best flavor I have ever had. Thank you! We highly recommend this restaurant.“

“I’ve been craving a good gukbap for many months and finally got a chance to go for my birthday, which happened to be a gloomy day. I got the Grandpa’s Pig Bone Soup, which is basically just a bowl of goodness. It comes with meat and veggies in a thick broth. I asked for extra spice on the side, which is perfect if you love a kick. Also, add some more salt to taste if needed. My family also ordered meat for kbbq, which is good as well. We went on a weekday in the afternoon after lunch and before dinner time, so there was no one else in the restaurant and we were fully able to enjoy ourselves ? For me, I would most definitely go back for the gukbap and to try their other dishes on the menu!!“

“Great atmosphere and service! Atmosphere is good given it's clean and new. Food was tasty and the small dishes (banchan) was refillable. Hit all the right notes. This was the BBQ short rib (kalbi) and Nakdol. Enough good food for two. Service felt prompt with the brown rice tea and refill of the banchan. Not pictured is the small fried fish it came with. Good value in this area and would recommend! Our service was a tall white lady, very polite! Will return on cold dark Seattle winters.“

“If you want an unapologetic Korean restaurant with specialties not found anywhere else like sundae, and bosaam go here. Tables are authentic to Korea complete with napkins and chopsticks under the table. Only downside is the bulgugi is one of the worst. Dry and tough, although it seems only to exist for people too intimidated by the authetic menu.“

“Had takeaway from here, I ordered the katsu nembi deopbab.
I love the organizer. Food was SO HOT even after I got home. Honestly, everything was excellent. Their soup is odengtang, not miso — really refreshing, and it complemented the dish so well.“

“From ordering to receiving order does take 15-20 minutes. This chicken is hot, juicy, and delicious. Worth the wait.
Kid-friendliness: Chicko Meal is breaded, fried chicken pieces, fries and a drink. Works for a quick meal for my 11 yo.
Wheelchair accessibility: Close to ADA Parking. Restaurant is spacious. Tables are appropriately sized for assistive devices. Bathroom isn’t as accessible.“

“I have no idea of what I ordered when I came here but there are no complaints. I am told that a Mother-Son combination runs this restaurant and that they have been doing this for years.
I had a Peach Soju, kimichi stew, and some type of Hot Pot combination. The food was good. The Peach Soju was better. It is only 12% and tastes like soda.“

“Great place to get Korean food. They have a large selection of green food on their menu, such as Korean, fried chicken, tofu, soup, Bulgogi, and much more. My second time at stone but first time at this location. The soup like most places are lacking a bit of flavor. Good service.“

“My grown kids took me here to try Asian food and I fell in love with the taste! It was very healthy (I know some sweet ones with sugar is not but it wasn't too sweet but delicious). I tried what my kids picked. If I come back to visit my kids, I would definitely choose this place for lunch or dinner!
Vegetarian options: There are some foods that aren't too spicy and I asked to make sure which foods were okay for my stomach to handle“

Vegetarian options: They offer Tofu (bean curd) as one of the protein options and veggie as well of course.“

“I found this place thanks to the reviews on Google. We were immediately greeted as we entered and were seated promptly without any wait. Our waitress was so funny and she had a great attitude, which made the experience even better. We each order the AYCE and we're not disappointed. I think the short ribs were the best. We tried beef brisket, tongue, ribeye, squid, pork, etc. Everything we had was good. I'll definitely be back!“

“Stone Korean Restaurant is a hidden gem! The food is packed with strong, authentic flavors, and the spice level hits just the right spot—bold but not overwhelming. The restaurant is very clean, from the tables to the bathroom, which is always a plus. Ample parking makes it easy to get in and out, and the combo meals offer fantastic value for the quality of food. Definitely worth a visit if you’re craving good Korean food!“

“My kiddos and I love coming here! It’s really good and fun. My only complaint is that I wish there was seating. They only have a tall bar height ledge that my kiddos can’t reach at all so I’m kneeling constantly which isn’t great for my old lady knees and ankles. But we continue going anyways“

“I don’t usually write reviews, as you can probably tell from my non-review status, but this Jumbo Chicken Teriyaki Box has completely changed the game for me. As someone who travels frequently for work and eats on the go, I was not only surprised but genuinely in awe of the simple yet incredible meal that was delivered to my less-than-glamorous hotel room in Seatle.
When I say "simple," I don’t mean it in a negative way—rather, it was simply perfect. The chicken, the salad—everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. I was so impressed that I feel compelled to tell others: Order from here now, and often!
It’s been two weeks since I left Seattle, and I’ve thought about this meal at least 35 times since returning home. This place is a hidden gem, and I can’t wait to get back to the West Coast so I can dine here again. For what it’s worth, I ordered from them both nights of my stay in Seattle. Highly recommend!“

“Best teriyaki I've had in the Bellevue-Seattle area. Consistent quality, ready within 10 minutes of ordering, and the portions for the price are insane. You will easily get 2 meals worth out of an entree box. Great service, great food, I'd give this place more than 5 stars if I could!“

“Shanghai House is a hidden gem, offering a delicious fusion of Chinese and Korean cuisine.
Their menu features traditional dishes like TungSuYuk, Northern Korea’s unique take on Sweet-and-Sour Beef, and Jjajangmyeon also spelled Jajangmyeon is a delightful noodle dish topped by with a thick sauce of Chunjang, diced pork, and vegetables
These rare finds in the US, but are absolutely worth seeking out.
Despite the surprisingly low review ratings, my experience was nothing short of exceptional—from the outstanding service to the incredible food flavors. It's possible that the traditional Chinese-Korean dishes might be unfamiliar to some. However, for anyone living in or near Seattle, or just visiting, Shanghai House is an absolute must-try! ??“

“Found my new go to Korean spot! Their Galbi Tang is very good especially paired with the radish kimchi. I normally don't find the banchan sets at other korean restaurants to be very good, but Danji seems to have it figured out (Especially the Kimchi). The Yangnyeom chicken is definitely up there as well in terms of flavor and crispiness.“
