“Very nice to have something of quality here on North Fort. The food truck that roams around is of even higher quality as well. I'll be coming here very frequently for food, all choices are great! This really beats waiting in line at the dfac, as it's super quick as well.The downside is that there's no hot meals here, it's all cold. That doesn't bother me though, since they offer fresh vegetables and fruits alongside the chilled items.All-in-all I'm glad this location is dependable and of higher quality than other locations.“

“As someone frequently TDY to JBLM, Slim Chickens has become my go-to lunch spot — and for good reason. It’s consistently quick, clean, and satisfying. The tenders are hot and crispy, the wings pack legit flavor, and the dipping sauces actually feel curated, not generic. Add fries, toast, and a blue raspberry poweraide drink, and you’ve got a combo that just hits right — every time.
Even during the lunchtime rush, service stays efficient and the seating stays open. It’s the kind of place that understands soldiers and travelers want comfort food without the wait or fuss. Slim Chickens nails it.“

I had the smoked salmon quiche and it was phenomenal—flaky, rich, and full of flavor. The cozy vibe, amazing staff, and personal touch from Chef Shawn made the whole experience feel extra special. “Party of 4 for my nephews birthday party. Zach was our server who had amazing presence and really knew what he was up to! Bravo to Zach. The new menu did not disappoint. 10 out of 10 - 100% recommend. We'll be back. Beignets for dessert - cherry on top of a lovely evening.“
