“This is THE best beach food you’ll ever have. Creative, flavorful, modern eats. The view and the owners can’t be beat. Sandwich and poffertjes were amazing as always.“

“This cafe has been on my mind a LOT recently. They have everything I look for in a shop: top tier coffee options, fun drink creations, a good amount of seating to chose from, and food that is far from basic. I ordered an espresso roasted by Tim Wendelboe which was perfectly extracted, the egg and cheese sandwich that had a strawberry chili jam and pickled veggies which I couldn't get enough of, and a rose cookie that paired perfectly with the espresso. The shop has a lot of color and personality, and great retail options like wine, bitters, chai, and when I visited amazing coffee options from La Cabra, Loveless Coffee, Tim Wendelboe and Kuma coffee. On top of everything, the service was amazing. Planning on coming back again soon!“

“Amazing find in Ballard for a breakfast or lunch stop! Menu ranges from sweet - waffles - to savory - also waffles, and sandwiches and plates. Lebanese menu includes some incredible options that aren’t standard cafe fare - eggs qawarama for example is worth six stars if I was able! Get some Lebanese coffee and then take some of the baked goods to go. This place is delicious and the service is amazing - friendly!“

“Excellent experience! The food was superb, the service impeccable. An added bonus was the tribute to Burt Bacharach, with many songs played by a violinist. We will definitely return.“
“Crumpets were a new experience for hubby and me! We happily found out how good they are and especially at The Crumpet Shop in Edmonds. I went for sweet and hubby went for savory. My lemon curd crumpet was jut enough sweet, but not too sweet. Hubby had the savory egg and cheese crumpet that was in his words “very good.” The shop was very clean, the tea was spot on, and had free refills. Hubby enjoyed an Americano. A big thumbs up for crumpets from us! We will be back!“

“La Copa has the best coffee in the area. Their staff understands the science and art of pulling espresso shots and their machine is calibrated properly so your drink is well made. They have a nice variety of food options made on premises and everything is delicious. Our favorites are the breakfast burritos (huge and yummy), the coffee cakes (flavors rotate), GF banana bread w/ chips, the danishes, the marzuka bars, the cookies, and the turkey pesto panini. The owners and staff are hard-working and kind. They care about their locals and the newbies. Do yourself a favor and stop in. You deserve it!“

“Just ate the best breakfast/brunch we’ve had since moving to Seattle this summer. Got there too late to catch the Sourdough Waffles (next time 🤞) but they nailed everything we tried.
Pictured: Ricotta & Toast, Winter Salad, and the Egg Sandwich. The Americano was great too. Perfect amount of food for 2 hungry brunchers.“

“I've embarked on a veritable açai odyssey, sampling bowls far and wide, yet Verve Bowls reigns supreme! Their dedication to crafting the perfect bowl is unparalleled – no premixing here, and the peanut butter? Woven throughout every bite, not just lazily plopped on top. This level of care and quality sets them leagues apart from the rest. But, dear reader, my love letter doesn’t end here. I've a modest proposal that could revolutionize your Verve experience: the strategic granola deployment. By splitting the granola, half beneath the açai mix and half aloft, each spoonful from start to magnificent finish is a texture lover’s dream. This isn't mere conjecture; it's a tested theory that, by my calculations, amplifies bowl enjoyment by a staggering 37%. Verve, your bowls have captured my heart and taste buds. By considering this small tweak, you could elevate the sublime to the divine. Berry lovers, unite and advocate for this granular revolution. Verve isn’t just making bowls; they’re crafting experiences. Cheers to the team that makes us come back for more, spoon in hand and hearts full of berry love.

“This is the only coffee shop that I don’t need to add some kind of sweetener to my coffee. I get a breve to go and it is so smooth with just a hint of sweet. Perfection to me. Plus all the staff are nice and the shop itself is pleasant.“

“We were visiting from San Francisco. Cool place, nice decor, good coffee, friendly staff. My only criticism is I wish they would offer a few more pastries with less sugar. Coffee mugs are very nice and my latte was exactly like I wanted it.“

“Great coffee, and great service! The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because their spicy breakfast panini is anything but. I wasn't expecting anything absurdly spicy, but I think it's completely reasonable to expect at least a mild kick, seeing as spicy is in the name. Nope, quite literally zero heat. I could confidently share this with my little bro who crys on contact with spicy food. Honestly, they could have taken the word spicy out of the name and I would have been completely satisfied, but I got exited for a breakfast sandwich with a kick and then was let down. Just feels unnecessarily misleading.“

“Great place to stretch your legs after being on the ferry. It's a fun place to find that little something for someone special. You need to check out the shell museum upstairs. Great for the person who is not a shopper. Then, in summer, you need to check out the Pope Talbot museum in the basement. It is small, but it is worth checking out.“

“Their great service turned the disappointment into satisfaction! I’ve come inside with my drink after sitting outside for a while. There was still a little amount of coffee on the bottom, and I was about to finish it, but then found the entire cup was gone when I was back from bathroom. Kindly, they apologized and brought me another cup of drip coffee when I described the situation (I asked just a half amount as that was quite good enough). I appreciate that they cared about how I would feel :)“

“Very cute bakery with tasty matcha and a decent breakfast taco (good corn tortilla) given that they have no real kitchen. I loved sitting outside in the sun and relaxing today. I would definitely stop by again if I were in the area. There were a lot of pastries I'd like to try and didn't have the chance.“

“I love the coffee at Umbria. I stopped by to purchase some coffee as a Christmas present and I had no problem finding the two coffee's I was looking for. They even ground the coffee there. It was fairly busy when I arrived but the service was great!“

“Very nice cute place for super healthy food!
My first time here and ohh we loved it! The not so basic grilled cheese sandwich was yumm. I added falafel and hummus to it. Took a roasted squash and cauliflower salad with sky melody and maca wave smoothies. Service takes a bit time but trust me the food was totally worth the wait! The owner even offered extra salad dressing for free and was very sweet :) will definitely be back soon!“

“Good service and large booths and many tables. Food was 3 to 4 stars - about what you’d expect at a hotel breakfast/lunch cafe. The best plate we had was the Eggs Benedict. Good hollandaise, perfectly cooked eggs, light and delicious ham and tasty hash browns. The Chicken Fried Steak was “pretty good” but not great. We prefer it made from ground or pounded beef and this was a breaded sirloin. Large, but a touch firm and just not as delicious as what we usually get in Portland diners. The eggs and hash browns were cooked perfectly and it was probably enough food for two folks to share.
Our son got the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were lovely: fluffy and large. Definitely homemade. The gravy was more buttery than creamy and hardly any sausage in it. I’m kinda on the fence about recommending it and my son said he wished he got pancakes instead.
Prices weren’t too bad. I would eat here again if I come back to the great Clearwater Resort.
Vegetarian options: There were several vegetarian options especially if you like omelettes, salads or pancakes.
Parking: Lots of parking spots in garage or lot.
Kid-friendliness: Kids menu and casual dining
Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of space and large entrance.“

“We we’re greeted promptly and quickly seated which is rare these days. Our waiter was Andrew and he also attended to us promptly and was kind from the start. My wife had the Nutella crepes and biscuits with peppered gravy. She rarely will finish her serving but did this time. (I helped with a biscuit) I had the lumberjack omelette with Pelican special potatoes. I’ll say one thing about the food. We’ve been here 6 months and that’s the best meal I’ve had including 3 of the local steakhouse’s. We will return, and my wife left a generous tip! Kudos to the chef.“

“I've never seen EMPLOYEES be able to get away with attacking a man on the "PUBLIC SIDEWALK" for video taping, however I hope your business has suffered for their actions! Where was the manager and why did he/she allow those "THUGS" to act like unprofessional jerks! It's a good thing I wasn't there, things would've gotten real bad, real quick! Every employee on duty that day should have been ARRESTED and FIRED! I hope it was worth it!“

“I love that you can get sweet or savory pastries here because so many Seattle cafes don't have food that feels like a substantial breakfast.
