“I've passed this place many times, and finally stopped in. I'm extremely glad I did! The barista made my Americano perfectly. Their coffee beans were absolutely delicious. I appreciated the many tables (which all had lovely designs on top), sofa, piano, as well as the kids area complete with a kids table and activities for children to do. It is a nice space. On the day we visited, it was calm and quiet inside. I imagine it would be a relaxing place to get work done.On the way out, we noticed a sign explaining their goal of helping those in need. So neat! This is a good business to support.“

“(I am reviewing Grounds for Change Coffee for their coffee product and awesome people who run the online business, as my coffee supply from them, but have yet to visit the cafe.)TL;DR excellent coffee blends, sustainability/responsibility/ecological leadership, awesome staff on the team. This is the type of business we all should be supporting!…I found Ground for Change while searching for a highly socially responsible coffee roaster invested in both supporting the people of the coffee farming and supply chain, environment, and their own employees as a business. They had to be a B-corp who is consistently improving year-over-year. Last, but not least, they needed to have good medium to dark roasts, since a lot of specialty coffee not has gone super light (in my book).Grounds for Change checks all of the boxes above, and exceed a lot of what I expected to find in one great coffee roaster. They seem to be leading the way in building a coffee roasting business that betters humanity and consciously taking efforts to learn and improve as they go. It also doesn't hurt that their coffees are excellent. We primarily purchase their coffee blends for stable, reliable product, while trying out some seasonal blends that they release from time to time. The blends are excellent."Dolce Espresso Blend"—an excellent reliable blend that I use regularly for both V60 pour-over and Aeropress—both using stainless steel filters. These techniques yield a sweet, caramel, chocolate cup with enough complexity and good viscous mouthfeel to make interesting cups. In espresso brewing, it yields shots that have similar tasting notes as above, but also evokes what we have found in good cafes in Italy. When friends come over who don't like specialty coffee and want to have an espresso that reminds them of there, they're very happy with espresso made from Dolce Espresso."Decaf Midnight"—a good solid dark roasted decaf coffee that stands up very well to having cream/milk added to it. My tasting definitely aligns with the GfC description on their website. I do find that I need to bump up my coffee ratio a bit and extend extraction by grinding finer for V60 and brewing longer for Aeropress to not get that "decaf" hollow taste. With those adjustments, it brews a very nice decaf cup most people I serve it to doesn't notice that it's decaf.Their "Winter Seasonal" and "20th Anniversary" blends have also been really excellent! Also, a note on email exchanges with their staff. I'd say probably some of the warmest, and friendly exchanges I've had when buying coffee.Highly recommended for anyone looking for superb quality coffees run by a team of people building a business that puts humanity up front instead of Wall Street profits.“

“This is our go-to coffee shop in the area and we come in almost every other day. The coffee that’s roasted in house is top-notch. We’ve ordered several different things (black coffee, cappuccinos, cortados, lattes, decaf, etc) and realized you can’t really go wrong with anything here, including the baked goods. Service is great too- we always seem to run into the same three workers behind the counter, and all have been great. The lines can get pretty long, especially on the weekends. You can even run into a decent sized line on weekdays, but at least the lines usually move pretty fast. Overall, highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area- you won’t be disappointed!“

“I absolutely love Diva and this was my first time at this location (I usually hit up the one in Wallingford by my house). Super spacious inside with lots of seating! And they have an outdoor patio with plenty of seating as well. Friendly baristas, great espresso (highly recommend the vanilla latte with oat milk), and some food options in case you're hungry.“

“Editing to give 5 stars instead of 4. I appreciate the response!Stopped off here on the way to work for a last-minute breakfast and some caffeine. Now, I should have checked more closely as a non-coffee drinker regarding the offerings, but I was surprised to hear they didn't have a chai! The super nice employee made me a London fog with a chai tea bag, but I will say it wasn't particularly good (though it also wasn't a chai latte so my expectations weren't high). I did appreciate the suggestion, and the service was great. I also had the most delicious morning glory muffin. Are your baked goods made in-house, or is there a local bakery I can go thank for that awesomeness?“
