The food was delicious — My friend and I both had shredded beef tacos along with beans and potatoes. The flavors were fresh, the portions were generous, and everything came out hot and perfectly seasoned.

We were also lucky to have amazing service. Our server Linda was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. You can tell they really care about their customers here.

I've been thinking about those tacos ever since I left — and I'll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!“

Great mom and pop liquor store too so you can grab a six pack and a few tacos. You will not be disappointed. Carnitas and Al Pastor are my fav. We have done the big taco catering plate for work events. Salsa Verde is delicious. Go support them!“

“Tarasco is one of those tucked-away neighborhood bar/restaurants that you can totally fall in love with. Good food, good portions for the price, and a full bar. They have events four nights a week, which are a lot of fun and very welcoming. Definitely check it out!“

“Great little Mexican restaurant. Although I'm not a formal critic or best authority on Mexican food authenticity, got one of the house specialties, mole, and it was great. Flavors were super rich and unique. My son got the pork ribs (as I recall) and he enjoyed them as well. The portions were spot on - not too much / not too little. The wait staff was very polite and kept on top of table service and the food came out quickly. Had both indoor and outdoor seating (mid-late July). Enjoy!“

SEP 2025 (2-star): Big decline in Al pastor (their signature quality). I takeout here regularly during peak lunch time. Compared to their opening their al pastor quality has gone worse. It's no longer juicy, thin cut. It's drier and chunkier, pineapple cut has gone bad too. Attaching 2 photos for comparison so you see the before after (you can tell which one is which). I'm hoping they fix it up as I appreciate them opening in our neighborhood.“

We ordered at the counter and the food was tasty and quick. Our only complaint was the lack of seating for our group of six. We had to split into two groups when we sat down to eat.“

Appetizer plates were not even brought to us. No one checked on how the food was or drink. Poor service. Unfortunately, in this day and time this type of service is accepted and tolerated.“

“Get tacos weekly from here and they are delicious every time! The taste of the meat directly off the flat top grill combined with the fresh ingredients make this one of the best gems in the neighborhood imo. The guy running it is so friendly and welcoming too. We enjoyed everything except our waitress the one with the out kast t- shirt, maybe she was having a sour day but her personality and energy was a total bummer. Next time we go we would prefer the gal with all the tattoos , she was much more fun and personable. And we will return,“
