“This bakery is hands down the best! I’ve ordered treats from here so many times—for birthday parties, school events, teacher appreciation, you name it. I even ordered my own birthday cake for a party my friends were throwing me—no regrets, it was amazing!

The gluten-free options are a game-changer. My son has Celiac, and it’s so nice knowing he can safely enjoy cake pops, cupcakes, cookies, and even chocolate-covered Oreos. Seeing him included and happy is everything.

Holly is always so sweet and makes the whole process easy. The turnaround time is super fast, and everything is always top-notch. If you’re looking for delicious, high-quality treats, you have to check this place out. I recommend it to everyone! Side note: parking is super easy and right in front of the shop.“

“Delicious cookies. Pinckney Cookies are nothing short of genius. Original, oatmeal, snick doodle, molasses all- genius. Yummy.“

“I got a 12 oz latte and a salmon crepe.

I was somewhat disappointed with the latte. It was rather bitter and while the mug might have been a 12 oz one, it was rather far from being filled. I think more milk would have helped on both fronts.

The crepe itself was pretty good. There was a decent amount of salmon in it. However, the tomato chunks were so big and numerous, that they overwhelmed the taste, made the crepe a bit soggy, and also rapidly cooled it down. The plate could have also been bigger - the food barely fit on it, so eating was a bit annoying.

Service was very friendly and quick with the orders. Great job!

The café itself was spacious and pretty quiet with no TVs, which is great. There's also plenty of space between the tables, so it should be easy to navigate with a wheelchair. It could use a bit of renovation, though. The wide open space where you can see and hear everything happening in the kitchen makes it uncozy. The vibe is closer to a student cafeteria, than a quiet café.

Considering the above, the price/quality ratio could be better in my opinion.

Parking: There's plenty of free parking spaces in the library parking across the street.

Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance and the whole restaurant is flat with plenty of space between the tables.“

“The best goddamned cake I’ve had in my entire life. I’ve lived next to this store for almost 8 years and I had no idea Bundt cakes were this tasty, and now I’m scared because I can buy a cake any time I can and my body can’t handle that.“

Midnight Cookie Co. has solved that problem with drive thru cookies. As funny as it sounds, I’ve been here a number of times recently to treat myself and my kids to a cookie. I always get a chocolate chip cookie, while my kids have tried other cookies. They’re good cookies, if a little pricey. I’d love to see other cookie adjacent treats, like maybe bars or pastries.“

“This is my kind of place-- a taste of another country without a passport, long flight, or concerns about, ahem, bombs. The young man at the counter was shy, sweet, the older willing to offer suggestions on the best nuts, breads, or pastries. Favorites: I love the raisin cookies. I could eat them all day every day. My mom didn't care for the hint of saffron. The breakfast cookies-- same. Great flatbreads-- tender, chewy, grain-filled. My mom loved that.
The marble halva brings me back to Tarver's Delicacies, a favorite childhood find. Jams, teas, kulfi ice cream ( cream, cardamom, pistachio, saffron?)
We decided to try their flatbread pizza. We got the Persian and will get it again soon. Yum! Flavorful meats and veg. Familiar, yet exotic. My mom loved it, raved about it, my son, less so. Maybe because the olives?
Helpful hint: get a fresh, on the back counter, flatbread and eat it with the eggplant spread from the Euro store across the parking lot. Love it and It was very popular at the last event we attended.

“Macarons are a favorite food of mine. I’ve tried many macarons from many places. Those other macarons do not hold a candle to Lady Yum’s. Their macarons are actually on my top 10 list of favorite foods of all time. They make my soul happy. “Top Pot Doughnuts is a great spot to take kids and enjoy some delicious doughnuts. The atmosphere is welcoming, and their selection of doughnuts is sure to satisfy any sweet tooth. Parking can be a bit tricky, as most nearby spots are reserved by local shop owners, and there are only two parking spots directly in front of the shop. However, the minor inconvenience is well worth it for their Bavarian cream doughnut, which is one of the best I’ve had.“
