“My wife and I have come here for the drinks and occasionally truffle pommes frites or some oysters, but this time we tried some of the other menu items for dinner. My wife got the Halibut (Chapter 6) and I got the Mushroom Pasta dish. (Chapter 5)
I asked Casey if he recommended the mushroom dish and he said it was one of his favorites. I'm not a foodie, so I don't get overly excited over food but let me tell you... It was so good that it prompted me to write a review about it. I actually felt an endorphin rush from eating it! My wife loved the halibut, (which I also tried) and I would say getting her to eat fish is usually a challenge unless her fisherman father prepares it!
I would recommend a Manhattan or Old Fashioned, which Casey also pointed me towards some new Rye to try. Fantastic as always!
I had placed an order for oysters but apparently they were forgotten, but I was so enamored with the mushroom dish that I didn't even care. Casey offered them to me on the house as he felt bad, which was a very nice gesture. I wasn't upset at all!
Now we would like to try all the other dishes, because if both meals were that good, how can they miss with anything else?
I didn't take photos of the food because I inhaled it :)
Thanks Casey and the rest of the staff for great service and amazing food/drinks!“

“I got a fruit danish and a 12oz vanilla latte on a saturday morning. It wqs surprisingly crowded at around 9:30am. The drinks and pastries here seem to be lighter on sugar, which is good if your going for a cleaner more subtle morning. The danish is made in a way thats easy to hold when eating, so thats nice. They also use monin syrups for their coffee I believe. There is wifi, but there are a lack of outlets. I'll probably come here again.“

“Traditional French bistro experience with some real strengths, but not quite enough to make us come back regularly.
The bread service (especially the baguette) was honestly one of the highlights — fresh, crusty, and very well done. The truffle chicken liver mousse was rich and flavorful, and the floating island dessert was a nice classic French touch.
French onion soup was solid but not particularly memorable. The mushroom chicken had a good sauce, though the chicken itself could’ve been more tender and the overall dish leaned a bit salty. Escargots were decent — perfectly acceptable, but nothing standout.
For a family of four (2 adults + 2 kids), the bill came to around $250. Overall: good experience, competent traditional French cooking, but probably not somewhere we’d specifically return to.
Also… I have to mention the restroom situation. The restaurant appears to have simply relabeled the old men’s/women’s restrooms as “all gender” without redesigning them. One restroom still has an exposed urinal directly facing the door — and no lock on the door. That was definitely… memorable.“

“We surprised our daughter for an early 32nd birthday. The four of us had an incredible time laughing and being awestruck at the talented performers. These were first rate acts of singing, dancing, acrobatics, athleticism and grace. The venue, service, atmosphere was electric. We loved every bit of it! Worth the money and the food was excellent. An experience we’ll talk about for weeks.“

“An exceptional wine bar. A very intentional space created for intimate conversations and connections to be made. I went here with my friend for her birthday and it was such a relaxing and fun environment. You’ll have to look at the menu board, but if you don’t know what to drink, ask! They are so well-verse in their menu selection and have great recommendations. We had a true girl dinner, a full charcuterie board with glasses of red wine. Everyone, including the patrons, are so nice! You can definitely start a conversation at the bar counter and make a new friend. The owner, David, has created such an incredible space attracting such genuine people and will offer you life advice if you want it or just amazing cheese recommendations. You won’t regret coming here!“

“Nell’s is by far a gem of the Northwest. Their food and service have always been amazing and we just found their quarantine take out is no different. It’s one of those all time favorites where you have fun just reading the menu and then are giddy waiting for your meal. A must try venue that we are grateful to have in Greenlake!“

“Although finding parking is a bit of a challenge, this place did not disappoint. I chose a variety of items to try, the regular croissant, the chocolate hazelnut croissant, the pan au chocolat, and the Kouign amann. Each and everyone of them was amazing. Perfectly flaky and soft all at the same time, the flavors out of this world.“
