“I moved to Olympia in 2022 and began looking for good restaurants. After going to 4 Japanese I hit on Kamakura and have been returning there at least 1X/week. Great rolls, rice is perfectly executed, the Drunken Noodles with shrimp are AMAZING(every time). The staff is so kind and accommodating (makes me feel relaxed) The only thing I feel want for is more seaweed in the miso soup. This restaurant reflects everything with a touch of Japanese family tradition. The prices are fairly set and reflect the quality of food. So this is “my go to” Japanese place in Olympia”

“Koibito One Sushi & Teriyaki has become one of my favorite restaurants. I've done takeout and had food delivered on multiple occasions. I've tried various sushi rolls, tempura (shrimp and veggie), teriyaki chicken and salmon, salads, and hot entrees. The food is always delicious!”

“A very nice small sushi belt place. Coming in right at opening (11:00-12:00) gets you the freshest feast of delicious sushi. They have two TVs, one usually playing sports and the other, anime.”

I wanted to give a review because I recently held my bridal shower in the Lacey's event room and it was awesome! Plenty of room and the spot is super cute. The Hawks Prairie side of town is up and coming, and this place is a credit to our side of the highway. I expect to eat here quite a bit in the future. If you haven’t eaten here yet, you should!”

“My wife and I are loyal customers because we truly enjoy the total experience each time we patronize this establishment. One might expect a primarily "take out" place to be noisy and potentially chaotic. But, Ikonic Wings is pleasantly friendly and serene while you wait for your food (if you fail to order ahead of time). There are a few tables available for those lucky few who choose to dine in. The food is delicious and freshly prepared to order (SCRUMPTIOUS)! I'm a big man but after 3 wings, I've had my fill but may eat 1 or 2 more just for taste (the wings are larger than expected and the various sauces makes you speechless-YUMMY). We order from Ikonic Wings 2-3 times a month. The owner (Kelly) is wonderful (Army vet). She appears to run her restaurant with her patrons in mind. She is open to feedback and aims to please. So, if you have feedback for her, try to be kind as she seems to want pleased customers. If anyone walks away dissatisfied, I don't know what to tell you.”

“Restaurant felt very cozy and service was great. Food arrived pretty quickly. Ordered the green curry but it wasn’t my favorite. Got the 2.5 level spice, and it wasn’t as spicy as some of the other Thai restaurants in the area (I hadn’t read reviews beforehand…but just saw some other reviewers recommending to get spicier than you usually do). I can’t put my finger on it, whether it was too much coconut milk or something, but sauce didn’t taste as balanced as soon of the others I have tried in the area. But…overall my experience was decent.”

“I have ordered takeout from here many times in the last few years and can't complain. High praise from other reviews are good indication of consistent quality meals they've been serving, hot and fresh everytime and its served timely.

My favorite is the Chicken Katsu and for Lunch Special get Chicken Teriyaki and Chicken Katsu combo for $13.99 (pre tax). It comes with two scoops of rice and side salad. Chicken Teriyaki is tender and has a great smoke charred flavor, sauce is not overly sweet or salty. Rice is good quality and texture, cooked perfectly.

The owner is friendly and the restaurant is kept clean. I read on other recent review that dine-in customers were served their meal in take-out containers and I can confirm that I saw a couple eating in at the restaurant today (while I was waiting for my takeout) and they were eating in takeout container as well. I know some places do this by default so I don't know if they've always done it this way, but I guess if I am eating in, I would prefer to eat my meal on a plate.

The location is in a newer plaza complex in Lacey with plenty of parking and easy to get in and out roundabouts. Great pricing too. They kept it true and consistent through thick and thin over the years!”

“First time order for pick up and so glad I tried them. A friend picked up so I am not sure about parking, etc. The sushi was fresh and delicious. I ordered the tuna and yellow fin. The teriyaki short rib was cooked just right and generous portion. Crab Rangoon was very tasty and I could tell it was made to order. Great menu with lots of options and very easy to order online. Kind and accommodating service. Highly recommended!”

“This is a really cool local brewery with super friendly staff and a chill atmosphere. I was excited to try their non-alcoholic hop water and hard seltzer (not much of a beer drinker but my husband has tried several and enjoyed them). Both the hop water and seltzer are unflavored and you can choose between a few regular or zero sugar syrups to add in. It's great to have that choice, but the resulting flavor is a bit disappointing - it just ends up tasting like artificial flavoring. But I'm glad to have the option and of course beer is their number one product and the reason why most people visit.”

“I went to this stand with no expectations. It was a warm day and I'd been traveling from the otherside of the state. It grew a little chillier by the time I got to the spot. The barista was warm, friendly and seemed to take advantage of the brief sun with her uniform. I asked if she could make a blended type of coffee, espresso and chocolate is all I told her. She needed no other instructions and seemed to know exactly what I was looking for. It was smooth, not too sweet and just what I wanted. I went once more before heading home from my trip. I think this stand is known for more than coffee but since it's a coffee stand I don't see many reviews about the drinks. So here's mine, if you need a blended espresso drink, this is a good one! Maybe don't stop by with your kids or creepy men in sunglasses. But frappucino type enjoyers, this one is for you! Mahalo🤙🏼🍍🌺”

It’s honestly hard to find genuine, high-quality customer service like that nowadays, so it was a breath of fresh air. His energy really set a positive tone for the rest of my day. “Toto’s Teriyaki & Wok has been one of my favorite places to eat for many years. The food is consistently excellent and I’ve never had a bad experience here. It’s honestly the only teriyaki restaurant I go to in Lacey.

My go-to order is the pork teriyaki, and it’s the best I’ve had anywhere in the area. The flavor is always great and consistently the same and it’s cooked just right.

I’ve tried several other items on the menu over the years and everything has been very good. I also love their salad. I normally don’t like salad dressing at all, but their dressing is so good that I actually enjoy it.

If you’re looking for great teriyaki in Lacey, this place is definitely worth trying.”
