“We have been here a few times and took my teenager to experience their delicious subs. He is a meatball sub fiend and completely DEVOURED his sub. The Purple Haze sub is out of this world! My boyfriend got the Seattle Blues sub and his mind was blown. Afterwards, my boyfriend and son got the House and Butterfinger shake and they were incredible. The service is always wonderful and the staff are so kind. We live in Tumwater and we will go out of our way to eat here. This place is wonderful and highly recommend!”

“I moved to Olympia in 2022 and began looking for good restaurants. After going to 4 Japanese I hit on Kamakura and have been returning there at least 1X/week. Great rolls, rice is perfectly executed, the Drunken Noodles with shrimp are AMAZING(every time). The staff is so kind and accommodating (makes me feel relaxed) The only thing I feel want for is more seaweed in the miso soup. This restaurant reflects everything with a touch of Japanese family tradition. The prices are fairly set and reflect the quality of food. So this is “my go to” Japanese place in Olympia”

“Went there for a retirement party. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The space was big enough for 75 people and very clean. Would go back to try their wine tasting 5 tasting for $20. I usually don't drink white wines but I tired the Reisling to bring home for a friend. It wasn't overly sweet, I would buy it for myself too.”

My partner and I have food allergies (I have a gluten allergy and he has an allergy to gluten, eggs, and dairy) and not only did they go ABOVE AND BEYOND to let us know what was safe and what was not but even made my partner special rolls. Jameson has started creating a menu of the safe food for us with these allergies!! Cannot say enough good things about this Sushi restaurant 🫶🫶🫶 keep up the amazing work y'all!!!”

Atmosphere inside is warm and homey - and the table spacing makes your meal feel a little more private. Servers were kind and had perfect frequency on table visits.

Had the hot chicken teriyaki dinner plate. Chicken and vegetables were great, rice as expected. Good value for the portions. Friend had a few sushi rolls and said they were tasty, but not their top choice. Either way, great food!”

The steak and eggs plate is exactly what I want for breakfast, and this joint exceeds my expectations. The Hawks Prairie side of town is up and coming, and this place is a credit to our side of the highway. I expect to eat here quite a bit in the future. If you haven’t eaten here yet, you should!”

“My wife and I are loyal customers because we truly enjoy the total experience each time we patronize this establishment. One might expect a primarily "take out" place to be noisy and potentially chaotic. But, Ikonic Wings is pleasantly friendly and serene while you wait for your food (if you fail to order ahead of time). There are a few tables available for those lucky few who choose to dine in. The food is delicious and freshly prepared to order (SCRUMPTIOUS)! I'm a big man but after 3 wings, I've had my fill but may eat 1 or 2 more just for taste (the wings are larger than expected and the various sauces makes you speechless-YUMMY). We order from Ikonic Wings 2-3 times a month. The owner (Kelly) is wonderful (Army vet). She appears to run her restaurant with her patrons in mind. She is open to feedback and aims to please. So, if you have feedback for her, try to be kind as she seems to want pleased customers. If anyone walks away dissatisfied, I don't know what to tell you.”

“An amazing and nostalgic korean restaurant, the service is amazing, and I was seated Immediately upon entering. The tofu soup is perfect, and comes with a side of rice, and 6 other dishes such as radish kimchi, kimchi, fish cakes, and sweet potatoes! This spot definitely feels like an hidden gem in the city of lacey, totally recommend!!”

“This place was amazing!!! First time my wife and I got it and they have gotten a customer for life, as long as our 2nd and continued visits are just as good.

Ordered over the phone, lady was patience and very friendly. I had some questions about fried rice b/c online I thought they had multiple fried rice options, so onion made it a bit confusing. She cleared that up and continued with the order!!

20 minutes later (I live 18 minutes away) I got greeted with a smile, she immediately guessed who I was (some people may have been upset about that, I very much appreciated it and thought it was funny xD) probably b/c of my last name.

When I got home food was still nice and hot, its was steamy, good portion, good taste, and good quality.

My ONLY constructive comment was sadly the General Tao.
For myself, for a new teriyaki spot to win me over, the General Tao typically needs to be up to my standard. This was not.

The flavor was okay, I’m sure for most people they probably would like it. I will say my best experience was a place that did sauce on the side, a bit spicier (or offered spicier if wanted) and left the chicken crispy and separated from the sauce so the customers adds it themselves once they are ACTUALLY ready to eat. If dining it, that makes sense, but 30 minutes later it’s soft, mushy, and kinda unappealing.

Will most definitely coming back with my wife to dine in and see how the service and quality of food is in house.

“This is the superior L&L experience, both in terms of food and service.
I’ve lived in Washington for about two years and have tried just about every L&L around the Lacey/Tacoma area, and this location is THE ONE. It’s not just the way the food tastes—it’s how carefully everything is prepared. Even the cabbage is cut exactly how I like it: shredded, not diced into tiny cubes.
I work long hours, and the barbecue chicken or beef with rice is honestly one of my favorite meals anywhere. It’s exactly what I need at the end of a long shift.
You guys keep up the awesome work! The quality, preparation, and service really make this location stand out. 🤙”

“I went to this stand with no expectations. It was a warm day and I'd been traveling from the otherside of the state. It grew a little chillier by the time I got to the spot. The barista was warm, friendly and seemed to take advantage of the brief sun with her uniform. I asked if she could make a blended type of coffee, espresso and chocolate is all I told her. She needed no other instructions and seemed to know exactly what I was looking for. It was smooth, not too sweet and just what I wanted. I went once more before heading home from my trip. I think this stand is known for more than coffee but since it's a coffee stand I don't see many reviews about the drinks. So here's mine, if you need a blended espresso drink, this is a good one! Maybe don't stop by with your kids or creepy men in sunglasses. But frappucino type enjoyers, this one is for you! Mahalo🤙🏼🍍🌺”

I was excited to try their non-alcoholic hop water and hard seltzer (not much of a beer drinker but my husband has tried several and enjoyed them). Both the hop water and seltzer are unflavored and you can choose between a few regular or zero sugar syrups to add in. It's great to have that choice, but the resulting flavor is a bit disappointing - it just ends up tasting like artificial flavoring. But I'm glad to have the option and of course beer is their number one product and the reason why most people visit.”

“Pho Tai is a great spot if you’re looking for good food and excellent service. The food is consistently tasty, and the staff is always friendly and attentive.
The space is a bit tight, but you can usually find a place to sit without much trouble. It’s a solid choice and definitely worth stopping by!”

“I am really amazed by Happy Teriyaki - we grew up in Olympia / Lacey since the late 1970's and Happy Teriyaki is something I remember as being around forever and every after school drive home would smell the chicken grilling with teriyaki sauce miles away. The chicken teriyaki is GOOD still today, as good as I remember. This is really difficult to achieve as you know nothing is as good as you remember. Congrats to Happy Teriyaki!”

I ordered a grinder that I was not quite happy with and the simply let me replace it with a different model. My only recommendation is to improve snail mail shipping. UPS is not always the right answer.”

I have gone such a long time without being able to find an equivalent to the Ice Rages and low and behold- here we are in Lacey, WA and found them at Stir Krazy! I think they’re called Big Train Freezes here? We have been to Stir Krazy quite a few times and the gals are always so friendly! Highly recommend.”

I had ordered my custom burrito online for pick up, it was ready to go- everyone was working hard and they had time to grab my pick up order and send me off with a smile.

My personal goal is to eat half, and save the other half for later, but I was unsuccessful as it was too delicious.
Before I knew it, I was empty handed with a full belly.

I'll have to make another attempt, sooner than later. The sweet and hot Cholula chicken is the answer.

“Very impressed with this Dairy Queen store location. Dairy Queen is a top favorite with my wife and kids so I have been to many locations in MN and WI. I had never been to this location so called to confirm they sold cakes. The customer service on the phone was upbeat and friendly. The service at the store when I arrive was equal to the call (friendly and helpful). While I waited for the cake (very quick) to be personalized, I observed great and efficient service for each customer in line. Great store!! Until next time.”

Roommate likes the bigger menu and food but #3 is alot more relaxing. the remodel is nice but it seems to have cut least a 1/3 of seating guess you needed the added kitchen space 👍. I've been coming to this location since atleast 2013. when my family would come and get unlimited sushi for birthdays had a sake bomb aswell. today (04/25/21) I had the "Bad Girl" roll extremely yummy. also had the crab rangoons which were good aswell.”
