“We have been here a few times and took my teenager to experience their delicious subs. He is a meatball sub fiend and completely DEVOURED his sub. The Purple Haze sub is out of this world! My boyfriend got the Seattle Blues sub and his mind was blown. Afterwards, my boyfriend and son got the House and Butterfinger shake and they were incredible. The service is always wonderful and the staff are so kind. We live in Tumwater and we will go out of our way to eat here. This place is wonderful and highly recommend!”

“I moved to Olympia in 2022 and began looking for good restaurants. After going to 4 Japanese I hit on Kamakura and have been returning there at least 1X/week. Great rolls, rice is perfectly executed, the Drunken Noodles with shrimp are AMAZING(every time). The staff is so kind and accommodating (makes me feel relaxed) The only thing I feel want for is more seaweed in the miso soup. This restaurant reflects everything with a touch of Japanese family tradition. The prices are fairly set and reflect the quality of food. So this is “my go to” Japanese place in Olympia”

“Went there for a retirement party. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The space was big enough for 75 people and very clean. Would go back to try their wine tasting 5 tasting for $20. I usually don't drink white wines but I tired the Reisling to bring home for a friend. It wasn't overly sweet, I would buy it for myself too.”

“You get a lot of bang for your buck. The patio seating is covered by a nice awning, includes a fire pit and has games on multiple televisions. The steak and eggs plate is exactly what I want for breakfast, and this joint exceeds my expectations. The Hawks Prairie side of town is up and coming, and this place is a credit to our side of the highway. I expect to eat here quite a bit in the future. If you haven’t eaten here yet, you should!”

“I visited the Applebee's in Lacey, Washington. The manager on duty was Aurora. She was absolutely amazing! She greeted us at our table before our appetizer even came out! Our server was Courtney. She was awesome! We were also greeted by another server by the name of Jacob. Jacob was friendly, kind and provided outstanding customer service! Our food came out hot and delicious! If you're in Lacey, WA, please stop by the Applebees on Slater Kinney Road! You won't be disappointed! My family and I will definitely be coming back to this Applebee's again! - Kristen”

The staff if right there at the table if you need anything. They wear masks. The are friendly yet professional. “My wife and I are loyal customers because we truly enjoy the total experience each time we patronize this establishment. One might expect a primarily "take out" place to be noisy and potentially chaotic. But, Ikonic Wings is pleasantly friendly and serene while you wait for your food (if you fail to order ahead of time). There are a few tables available for those lucky few who choose to dine in. The food is delicious and freshly prepared to order (SCRUMPTIOUS)! I'm a big man but after 3 wings, I've had my fill but may eat 1 or 2 more just for taste (the wings are larger than expected and the various sauces makes you speechless-YUMMY). We order from Ikonic Wings 2-3 times a month. The owner (Kelly) is wonderful (Army vet). She appears to run her restaurant with her patrons in mind. She is open to feedback and aims to please. So, if you have feedback for her, try to be kind as she seems to want pleased customers. If anyone walks away dissatisfied, I don't know what to tell you.”

Portions are massive for what you pay. $45 got me a plate of pad Thai and a chicken satay order with a side of Thai iced tea and it was enough to fill me up and have lunch tomorrow! The pad Thai is superb. It's clean and flavorful but not syruppy. I asked for 4/5 spiciness and it was perfect! The peanut sauce for the satay was mind blowing. Service is excellent, the atmosphere was clean and welcoming with tasteful decor. HIGHLY RECOMMEND over Bangkok Thai which is a couple blocks away and just sucks in comparison. Go to Jasmine Thai instead!”

I normally get the Strawberry Mango Spritzer with strawberry popping boba or the Starwberry Lychee blended freeze, and they're both sooo good. This particular location has an outstanding staff member named Troy Tompkins. Troy goes out of his way to help you feel at home and always has a big smile to brighten your day! Troy is a peach!”

I’m not a big coffee drinker but I got a basic hazelnut latte w/ oat milk and finished it so quickly I almost went back for a second. Their breakfast sandwiches are soooo messy but sooo delicious. “I have ordered takeout from here many times in the last few years and can't complain. High praise from other reviews are good indication of consistent quality meals they've been serving, hot and fresh everytime and its served timely.

My favorite is the Chicken Katsu and for Lunch Special get Chicken Teriyaki and Chicken Katsu combo for $13.99 (pre tax). It comes with two scoops of rice and side salad. Chicken Teriyaki is tender and has a great smoke charred flavor, sauce is not overly sweet or salty. Rice is good quality and texture, cooked perfectly.

The owner is friendly and the restaurant is kept clean. I read on other recent review that dine-in customers were served their meal in take-out containers and I can confirm that I saw a couple eating in at the restaurant today (while I was waiting for my takeout) and they were eating in takeout container as well. I know some places do this by default so I don't know if they've always done it this way, but I guess if I am eating in, I would prefer to eat my meal on a plate.

The location is in a newer plaza complex in Lacey with plenty of parking and easy to get in and out roundabouts. Great pricing too. They kept it true and consistent through thick and thin over the years!”

“This is a really cool local brewery with super friendly staff and a chill atmosphere. I was excited to try their non-alcoholic hop water and hard seltzer (not much of a beer drinker but my husband has tried several and enjoyed them). Both the hop water and seltzer are unflavored and you can choose between a few regular or zero sugar syrups to add in. It's great to have that choice, but the resulting flavor is a bit disappointing - it just ends up tasting like artificial flavoring. But I'm glad to have the option and of course beer is their number one product and the reason why most people visit.”

“I went to this stand with no expectations. It was a warm day and I'd been traveling from the otherside of the state. It grew a little chillier by the time I got to the spot. The barista was warm, friendly and seemed to take advantage of the brief sun with her uniform. I asked if she could make a blended type of coffee, espresso and chocolate is all I told her. She needed no other instructions and seemed to know exactly what I was looking for. It was smooth, not too sweet and just what I wanted. I went once more before heading home from my trip. I think this stand is known for more than coffee but since it's a coffee stand I don't see many reviews about the drinks. So here's mine, if you need a blended espresso drink, this is a good one! Maybe don't stop by with your kids or creepy men in sunglasses. But frappucino type enjoyers, this one is for you! Mahalo🤙🏼🍍🌺”

“Toto’s Teriyaki & Wok has been one of my favorite places to eat for many years. The food is consistently excellent and I’ve never had a bad experience here. It’s honestly the only teriyaki restaurant I go to in Lacey.

My go-to order is the pork teriyaki, and it’s the best I’ve had anywhere in the area. The flavor is always great and consistently the same and it’s cooked just right.

I’ve tried several other items on the menu over the years and everything has been very good. I also love their salad. I normally don’t like salad dressing at all, but their dressing is so good that I actually enjoy it.

If you’re looking for great teriyaki in Lacey, this place is definitely worth trying.”

Roommate likes the bigger menu and food but #3 is alot more relaxing. the remodel is nice but it seems to have cut least a 1/3 of seating guess you needed the added kitchen space 👍. I've been coming to this location since atleast 2013. when my family would come and get unlimited sushi for birthdays had a sake bomb aswell. today (04/25/21) I had the "Bad Girl" roll extremely yummy. also had the crab rangoons which were good aswell.”

I think they’re called Big Train Freezes here? We have been to Stir Krazy quite a few times and the gals are always so friendly! Highly recommend.”

“Very impressed with this Dairy Queen store location. Dairy Queen is a top favorite with my wife and kids so I have been to many locations in MN and WI. I had never been to this location so called to confirm they sold cakes. The customer service on the phone was upbeat and friendly. The service at the store when I arrive was equal to the call (friendly and helpful). While I waited for the cake (very quick) to be personalized, I observed great and efficient service for each customer in line. Great store!! Until next time.”
