“The best Thai food I've ever had the honor to eat. It's the reason we had them cater our wedding. They were accommodating to our food restrictions (and were creative enough to make it fabulous for all who attended), thought up, created and had us sample off-the-menu delicacies they created just for our event that I still dream about. OMG it was soooo good!!! Hospitable. CLEAN!!!! Thank you Chef Ron and beautiful and BRILLIANT Jaruwon (Jenny)!!!! Destined for success through creative, edgy, honest, fresh and amazing food? You are there!“

“I popped in hungry right at noon on a Sunday. I ordered and had my food within 15 minutes. I got the pad see ew with tofu, a favorite and baseline dish for me. Spicy 2/5. There are plenty of veggies, the noodles are the right texture, the spicy level is right on, and the servicing size is perfect. I love the music and the server is lovely. Come check it out!“

“We walked in around 4pm on Saturday. The restaurant was empty but they have a very good rate on reviews, I was afraid it would disappoint us but after saw the menu.. we like most of them, specially on the back of their menu has the all day house specials! I ordered the “pineapple lover” and my husband ordered “spicy garlic stirred fry” which were very yummy. Ended up with great food, perfect portions (for us) most of all great service!“

“By far the best pad thai on the westside. In terms of flavor, speed and presentation, it doesn't get much better. Have showed this place to out of town friends and they love it. Been going here every once in a while for years and the quality hasn't changed. Ran by some wonderful people.“

“Initially was headed to the Lemongrass in Lacey that was closed for repairs so headed to Tumwater instead. Much smaller establishment but the food was the same. Was greeted by a very friendly waiter. Food came out fast even though there were several to go orders ahead of me.“

“This place was a pleasant surprise. My two buddies and I ordered four entrées and three appetizers. All the entrées were great. Especially the orange chicken and the pad see ew. The appetizers were solid, but not on the same level as the entrées. Service was very friendly as well. Definitely looking forward to coming back.“

“We found this place while moving and needing take out. We have now ordered there 3 times this week. The first time we ordered, we were so happy. The food is beyond delicious. We ordered a second time hoping it wasn't a fluke. It wasn't. The second time was equally delicious. We ordered a third time this week, today, and again, delicious! Honestly, I feel like delicious is an understatement. The prices are a little high, but it is high quality food. I highly recommend eating here. Food we've tried: Mongolian beef, Mongolian chicken, orange chicken, sweet n sour chicken, cashew nut chicken, pad thai, chow mein, fried rice (the only dish that was mid). Eat here, you won't be disappointed.“

“Red Lantern in Olympia absolutely earned a five star review from me. Every single dish hit the mark and it all came together into one of the most satisfying dinners I have had in a long time. The pho broth was deeply savory and delicious, and the beef rib was perfectly cooked and so tender that it came off the bone with almost no effort. The noodles and herbs had that amazing, just right texture that makes you slow down and enjoy every bite. The tom yum with tofu was the most perfect balance of sour and heat, bright and fragrant without ever feeling harsh, and every vegetable in the bowl was cooked through but still had good bite. It is the kind of bowl you keep going back to even when you are already full.
The summer rolls were so good as an appetizer that I honestly considered just ordering a second round and calling that dinner. Fresh, clean flavors with great chew on the noodles and a dipping sauce that pulled everything together without overpowering it. The jasmine tea was a perfect addition alongside all of that, soothing and floral and exactly what you want to sip between bites of hot broth and noodles. Put all of that together with a cozy downtown Olympia location and you get a spot I am already planning to come back to and recommend to friends.“

“We got the Pad Thai and the Chow Mein with a hot level spiciness and they were both amazing! The fried tofu is also a delicious appetizer. We got our food delivered this time and it was just as good as when we go to the restaurant. The staff are always professional and helpful and will get you what you need in a really good amount of time! Bonus tip: 10/10 would recommend the black rice mango“

“The food here is SO good. It’s always a treat to get Pattaya Thai express. We love the Thai fried rice and also the pad Thai. The food always tastes really fresh. The curry soup is perfect if you have a cold. Great friendly staff & convenient location too.“

“I’ve ordered the Thai fried rice and mango sticky rice from Nana Pattaya Express several times now—and I’ll keep coming back. They’re absolutely one of my favorites.
That said, I must say some of the reviews listed here are ignorant, and frankly, biased.
While I agree that the fried rice was a bit too spicy for a level 2 heat the first time I ordered it, I’ve since requested it with level 0 spiciness and less salt—and it came out perfect.
As for the mango sticky rice, I couldn’t help but cackled at the comment claiming that the green hue on the sticky rice is a food safety concern. The ignorance and arrogance really showed through.
If you’re unfamiliar with Southeast Asian food culture, do yourself a favor and Google the word “pandan.” You’ll understand exactly what it is.
Good food comes with a willingness to explore and respect cultural differences. Nana Pattaya Express is a gem for those who appreciate authentic flavors and are open to learning along the way.
P.S. The cashier and chef has been nothing but kind, polite and cordial to me. And I don’t even speak Thai. Maybe try to be a decent human being and be nicer to them? They ain’t your servants you know.“

“Perfect Thai food. Portions are massive for what you pay. $45 got me a plate of pad Thai and a chicken satay order with a side of Thai iced tea and it was enough to fill me up and have lunch tomorrow! The pad Thai is superb. It's clean and flavorful but not syruppy. I asked for 4/5 spiciness and it was perfect! The peanut sauce for the satay was mind blowing. Service is excellent, the atmosphere was clean and welcoming with tasteful decor. HIGHLY RECOMMEND over Bangkok Thai which is a couple blocks away and just sucks in comparison. Go to Jasmine Thai instead!“
