Excellent wine and the chocolate cake paired with the Madera was excellent. Atmosphere is chic cozy almost lounge like with a great water view. We will definitely be back! Cheers!!“

“The quirky and quaint Hansville Grocery is the hub of Hamsville.Ironically, not the best place for groceries, but if you want an espresso, ice cream cone, cold drink, books by local authors, or even a full meal, this is the place! “This was our first visit for our 30th anniversary. We were not disappointed. Prices are somewhat high, but, what the heck, you only have one 30th anniversary. The food was wonderful. Although I would have liked a bit more halibut and a bit less pasta. My husband had the seafood linguini that was very tasty. The crab cake was great for the two of us. I was surprised to be paying for bread though. They served a delish peach cake for an anniversary treat. The service was great. The ambiance was delightful with great background music that was in the background. Overall a 4.5 out of 5.“

“It’s a great location, easy to get to the ferry to Whidbey, not too far from Bellingham, and then to Vancouver. We were told it will be undergoing a renovation starting in November, which it needs. It’s not awful, just tired. Definitely needs USB ports installed. We did think the price for breakfast was high. We know prices have gone up, but for we got it was pricey. Ivar’s in Mukliteo was fabulous, great food, wonderful ambiance on the water, and a very friendly staff.“

The island flavors were lei’d on thick and I was left saying mahalo between forkfuls. Service was as sunny as a Maui morning, and portions? Let’s just say my plate looked like it was prepping me for a luau.

“We had some snacks this week with a group of friends. Delicious homemade cobbler served with ice cream. Good coffee. And some perfect delicately crisp fries. \nThis place is our favorite local hangout. Good food, really nice staff. A great summer patio in front and good bar in back. The dining room is spacious, cozy, and bright. The staff friendly and accommodating, and the super BLT will knock your socks off. \nYou can tell if the kitchen is clean by the state of the bathroom; this place is absolutely immaculate, right down to the corners of the floor. \nClean, delicious food, lovely staff and ambiance. What could be better?“
