“I'd give this a 3.5 if I could, but I believe a 4.0 is more deserving than a 3.0. The inside is run down, somewhat of a typical "out of the way" restaurant. The few times I've went, I ordered the same pho broth with either beef, shrimp or chicken. This time I ordered the beef rare, but I couldn't tell the difference between the rare & well done. My brother ordered the teriyaki chicken w rice, he gave it a "7 or 8.0/10". The portion was good everytime I ate inside the restaurant but this time they were almost at closing time, so we waited about 20-25 min for takeout. The portions were almost outrageous for the $13 price point. I had about 6 thin small slices of beef & the container to go was probably half the size of the bowls I would get awhile ago when I'd eat at a table, there was a good amount of noodles though. The chicken teriyaki w rice had probably $7-8 amount of portion for $13 also. -The reason I put down a 4/5 stars is because, besides the complaints I've stated, the ambience of this tucked away food joint gives me a nostalgic feeling, I enjoyed the times I've been here where there were barely any folk inside. I never found any hairs, any flys or eggs in my food, I was satisfied with the service & the broth was (as always) the star of the show. I can't lie, when I judge the food (price & portion) & this restaurant based on appearance, it gives me low expectations... but as soon as you get comfortable, as soon as you start mixing in your ingredients/condiments into the broth & start to chow down... your perspective begins to morph into what I believe this restaurant offers, a heart full of gratitude for the ambience, an appreciation for the time it takes to make this broth & a belly full of delicious Pho“

The sushi was fresh and flavorful, and the variety in the box was impressive. The portion size was just right for a satisfying lunch, and the price was very reasonable considering the quality. “My husband & I ate at Sushi 9 for the first time last night. We really liked that their menu had the most variety of special vegetarian sushi options compared to other restaurants. We ended getting the Shitake (mushroom) maki, Avocado-Mango, Victoria roll, and Abbotsford roll. Service was great and the food came out in a decent amount of time. Everything tasted so fresh and delicious. One thing to note is that there is limited seating due to space, but it didn't affect us because it was just two of us. Overall, we highly recommend this place.“
“Ordered for pick up via uber and they had offers. Very happy to see the same group/ sushi chefs from another restaurant we used to go to. Tried the Victoria Roll and Las Vegas Roll. “Truly some of best sushi I've ever had. Nigiri unagi & spicy tuna melt in your mouth. Authentic homemade miso soup & gomae were delicious. Ebi gyoza were great. Tempura was perfect. Chef Ming has been in the same spot for 20 years = quality food. My new favorite sushi spot in Abbotsford! Eat in for fresh!!!“

“Overall, not a bad place for decent sushi in a smaller town. California rolls and shrimp tempura were really nice and fresh, however the pork dumplings felt a little lacking in flavour with perhaps a little too much vinegar for my taste. They do carry Japanese beer though, so that’s always a plus!Took a first time sushi-trier here and she seemed to like it as well :)“
“I never been here so I decided to indulge and order a variety of things. Let me tell you how everything I ordered tasted amazing and had a lot of flavour. I ordered gyoza, miso soup, Gomae, ichiban roll, caterpillar roll, yam roll and beef teriyaki cone. “This is my go-to spot for sushi.I have been all over Japan, and Benkey sushi always makes me reminiscent of my trips.For people who can't decide what they want, the "sushi bento" dinner is a variety of things to try.If you want to try something a bit more creative, the "hot night roll" is one of my favorites.Friendly staff and very well prepared food . The restaurant it's self is a quiet, comfortable peaceful little place. They have some larger booths and can seat larger groups.I recommend going in and sitting down for your meal. They offer take-out, but I find it just tastes better when you are there.“
“Lynden Mandarin is hands down the best Chinese restaurant North of Bham! Not only do they cater to your requests kindly and without question, they are quick and absolutely delicious! Very nice people who run the place - I remember one evening my gf and I wanted to place an order but they were closing in five minutes (we didn't realize how late it was) and the lady there said she'll make our big order no problem at all. They closed extra late that night all because they were willing to help a customer.Beyond this, as I mentioned before, the food is outstanding for the price. I ask for a General Tso extra extra spicy with white rice and they make it exactly how I ask. It's always crunchy like it was freshly made, not soggy. Gf gets the chicken chow mein and loves it. They give you some eggdrop soup with your orders and it's perfect for a posteal cleanser!Love love love this establishment and will continue to go here at least once every couple weeks..thanks Lynden Mandarin!“
