Not a white meat person but I can cope with the chicken breast here because it’s juicy and tender. 3 pieces with a roll is my go-to Saturday happy meal, the roll is good when you luckily get one fresh from the oven.“

“This is the REAL Ezell's. Mr. Ezell owns Heaven Sent - having sold his namesake store long ago. THIS is where you get great fried chicken! They have solid sides - the Mac n Cheese is solid here - and yummy rolls. They have gizzards and chicken livers - which any great soul chicken place should have.The staff here is very polite and even though the little stand isn't terribly comfortable, I don't mind waiting for my order because the people are nice.In closing: Please, Mr. Ezell, come back and open another branch south of Seattle. I come from Tacoma sometimes for your delicious chicken. We miss your Renton branch!!!“
“Warmth. Kindness. Good food. Coming in here feels like there is some long history you couldn't possibly know by just coming in once. I overheard a long time customer saying to the lady behind the register that she's been here so long she should have her own place by now and they laughed together. They gave me an extra chicken thigh which I actually needed today, been a little short on money and could only get four. Not that they knew that though. A happy place to be.“
