Portions are BIG. The price is fair especially considering the portion size. They have reasonably nice staff and pretty fast service. I would definitely recommend it.“

“We ate at Katana for my husband’s birthday dinner. It was a busy weeknight. We were greeted by a lovely hostess who immediately made us feel welcome. Our server, Kingsley, was absolutely phenomenal- definitely one of the top servers we have ever encountered anywhere! She was tending to multiple tables, bar customers, and also making drinks. She was easily one of the busiest employees there, yet she kept a big smile on her face and a kind, positive spirit throughout our entire service. The sushi was delicious, as always. Katana is consistently reliable to serve good food, but this time we had especially amazing service as well. I highly recommend katana for a family celebrating a special occasion!“

Quality: Best Sushi I have ever had in my life. Period! Kazuko has my highest recommendation! Me and 3 other friends went there for happy hour and we had the best time! SHOUT OUT to Jason who made the most delicious sushi on earth! The taste, freshness, texture of the sushi and sashimi are top-notch. My favroite is the toro and the melting sensation once placed in my mouth feels amazing! The spider rolls, nacho sushis, sashimi and sushi sets are all dazzling and tasted incredible! I can’t say enough good things about this place! It is hard to pick my favorite!

Appearance: A picture speaks a thousand words! They all look like masterpiece and art! It was such a satisfying experience just watching Jason putting the sushi together! I really appreciate him putting many efforts and time to serve the best sushi to us!

Portion size: We loved it! Everything is the perfect size and great portion!.

Friendliness: Service is solid! Jason is the best chef and he is awesome! We enjoyed spending time with the chefs and the servers! They are all very nice and friendly. They created a heart-warming, welcoming and nice atmosphere for us to have the best dining experience. I love talking to each of them and we are so grateful for their wonderful service!

Timeliness: Food came in no time! We went on a Monday night so not many people is in the restaurant, but I really appreciate them for providing the best service to us!

Environment: Very clean and nice, The lighting is perfect and I loved how everything looks, very simple yet modern. It really brings me to Japan and I loved it! Ver ycozy and warm atmosphere and the nice people make it feels like home!

Location: Great location with plenty of parkings outside, It is very easy to find the place! If you don’t have a car just like me, it maybe kind of hard to get there but I am sure with the lightrail opened up to Lynnwood, it will definitely make things easier!“

“Note: We attempted to talk with the managers/staff before posting this, but we were told the fish was supposed to be this way. I didn’t think to take photos because we assumed after talking with the staff the issue would be fixed so we brought them the leftovers. We have been eating sushi for several decades and have never had fish that smelled and or looked like this. Normally we eat here in restaurant, but this last week we ordered and picked up. The tuna handrolls looked like it had been in a meat grinder and tasted bitter. The sashimi special we normally order had all kinds of connective tissue and fat clumps we had to try to tear off the meat because we could not chew through it. Instead of being soft the hamachi (yellowtail tuna) was hard chewy. I eventually spit it out in to my napkin. We gave up when it came to the salmon portion because it didn’t smell right.“

“Ichi Bento consistently has the best Teriyaki in Seattle. Their chicken teriyaki always get a nice char on the outside that keeps it juicy and complements the sweetness and umami of their teriyaki sauce. They’ve been a part of the community for decades, and I hope they stay for many to come!“

The portions where amazing for the price and all the chicken was super tender. The staff were super nice and they Evan gave us a stir-fried vegetables on the house. “I’ve been here twice now and the visits were within two weeks of one another because I was craving their yakisoba again.

Their teriyaki chicken and spicy teriyaki chicken were delicious (but I would go to Ta Joia down the road if I only wanted that), but their yakisoba was the best I’ve had in years. Generous portion plus it has wonderful wok hei that gives it a delicious smoky and charred flavor. My only complaint is I ordered the combination yakisoba the second time which was supposed to be chicken, pork, beef, and shrimp…and it had a single shrimp in it and the pork wasn’t my favorite. The beef teriyaki is the way to go!“

“Why are they always closed? I’m trying to place an order at 4:15pm and it says it’s closed!!! I walk in yesterday at 7 pm and the lady said that they are closed too!!! I’m so confused!!! They don’t have a phone number to call too! But I comeback to place an order in person at 5 and they took my order!!! “This is a nice little neighborhood spot, service was a little slow as they only had one server and I believe one cook short staff. The food was great and I was excited they had the fish red bean dessert as I haven’t had that since we lived in Japan many years ago as a kid!! They didn’t have nato my dad’s favorite and no potatoes in the chicken curry. They forgot my dad’s miso soup she didn’t know if she brought it out or not. “We reserved a table online for their Cowboy Brunch for 4. The music was so loud that we could not even have a conversation. Two of us received our food cold. The waitress brought out two new plates, again cold! Needless to say we didn't eat them. The deposit was suppose to come.off the bill ($100.00), but we all paid individually, with the waitress saying she would refund the original deposit. A week later still not refunded and no one will return the call. Absolutely terrible experience!“

“Apparently the old Ikiiki Sushi is now replaced by the new "Toma Sushi." The menu has changed significantly, and the food looks much more delicate than before (yes this is opinionated). We got what they called the Sea Turtle roll and the Unagi Don. They are a bit on the pricier side but the taste is solid. The restaurant is very clean and the service was great. Would visit again.“

“Excellent all around. Ordered the Nigiri and Sashimi Bento Box. My first time having both kinds! I’ve only had rolls. You really can taste the unique flavor of each fish when it is naked like that. My server’s recommendation of Spicy Tuna roll was a good one. I can’t handle too spicy, and the rolls were hardly the same caliber of spice as wasabi, which I can handle in small doses. Perfect amount, imo, so that you can still taste everything and aren’t looking for a bathtub to stick your head in to put the fire out. I've never really been a fan of teriyaki historically just as a matter of preference, but I've also never sought it out where it is known to be excellent, such as in Seattle.
I can say this is the highest quality teriyaki I have had thus far and was well worth it, although it's still not shifting my general preference.

I'll have to have some in Japan, LA, and Hawaii before I rest my final judgment on teriyaki as a whole.“

“I was pleasantly surprised - extremely homey, tastes like home-cooked Japanese food! What an unassuming little spot!

My partner and I had the Oyakodonburi, Katsu Curry, salmon cucumber avocado roll, and a side of tempura.

The portions are big! The Oyakodonburi was the star of the show - usually I don't like oyakodon because it's very easy to do wrong; too slimy and too saucy, but theirs was just perfect!!

This is gonna be a top lunch spot for me for sure!“
