“Drinks are always delicious and very friendly staff. It is great how they allow you to customize your drinks for sugar-free or decaf. I feel they have the best variety of options and beverages in the area. The food is yummy and well priced. We’ve enjoyed their breakfast sandwiches, sandwiches and breakfast bowls. This place is definitely a gem in the community and topped off with a cute Mary Poppins theme . Ordering with the Joe App makes it super easy to order ahead and pick up and they are always quick.“

“My husband took me here and we ordered their homemade black sesame macaroon, strawberry milk macaroon and their strawberry waffle. Not only are they picture perfect but they're the perfect balance of sweetness and flavor. I also ordered their iced strawberry matcha and it tastes even better than the matcha at starbucks. I really love this cafe, not only was the staff friendly but I got to meet the owner and he was very nice and humble. “This is one of my favorite places to eat in Tacoma! If you’re looking for a great breakfast or lunch, this is it. It’s located downtown on the corner of 11th and Pacific. The menu has a lot of options; everything from coffee, smoothies, sandwiches, and even some delicious traditional Korean dishes. I recommend trying the bibimbap–it’s AMAZING! The service is great, too. Penny is so sweet, and always remembers my order. The atmosphere is very welcoming. There’s plenty of seating if you’re dining in, but you can also order your food to-go. I’ve never had to wait long for my food and it’s less expensive than other places in the area. If you work or live in the area, you should definitely visit Lucky Penny Cafe!“

The cost of the food was even less than going to Subway AND got more to eat. “Wonderful! I don’t eat grits, but I’ll eat the loaded shrimp and grits all day at Lizzie Lou’s too! The shrimp, crab, grits, eggs just meld together and the flavors explodes. My daughter brought back this dish to me on my birthday, my first taste of the shrimp and grits and now if I could have it every day, I would. Please don’t hesitate to go out to Lizzy Lou’s Too. “Ordered a 1/2 salad and it was the smallest salad I have ever seen for $8. Chicken in the ceasar was tasty but still thawing, on the verge of frozen. A couple pieces of lettuce had icky black areas and I tossed them. It didn't ruin anything but was disappointing.“

“All the girls are always super nice, they have soooo many different mixed drinks (coffee and energy alike) I asked for a menu so I posted a picture of one. Their instagram page they always post new drink ideas I was mostly ordering things based off of their insta posts alone, and every drink is super good. I’m always nervous getting a coffee from new places but they actually have pretty good, strong coffee so I’ll definitely be going every now and then when I do get a coffee out and about“

“The museum is a lovely place to visit in Tacoma. There is parking under the museum for reasonable price, or street parking. It is on the smaller side, I took about 2 hours to look at everything.The day i visited, it was not too busy, so it was great being able to explore at your own pace and not bumping into others.The glass blowing studio is a must stop! Also the gift shop was worth checking out they are expensive but unique gifts and souvenirs.“

“A beautiful idea! This coffee shop is ran by the church next door as a non profit to support the community. The prices are decent, drinks are good, and it has a nice, spacious and clean dining area. The biggest issue by far is getting to it. For some reason there is a large pad of concrete in front without line, that isn't parking. So if you need mobility parking, you are out of luck. This leaves only curb parking across the street from a high school. If you visit right before school starts or ends, then forget it. I went as part of a big group and parked a block away across a busy street.
