“We live in the Seattle area, and we believe in shopping local. Because of that, Starbucks is our go-to local coffee shop! They always do coffee right! The servers in this particular shop are friendly and go the extra mile for customers. Great place for a quick meeting as well.“
“Hands down my favorite coffee in Seattle. The staff are incredibly kind & welcoming and the vibes are immaculate (great for studying!). The iced panela latte is the perfect latte (not too sweet, perfect milk-to-espresso ratio, always consistent). I take everyone here and they love it. Ily santo <3“
“So happy this place came to Edmonds and is close by! Gone here a couple times and all encounters have been great. Desserts and drinks last great and are a great portion. Fun to get a bings and waffle to share. Everything inside follows an aesthetic and it's cute. Never had to wait too long for my order even though there's always a good amount of people inside. Would recommend!“
“As a European, I was pleasantly surprised by the service! This is the first time in the USA that I actually found a service! Very nice staff who serve very tasty food and coffee! Thank you very much, I'm impressed!Compared to other coffee shops and restaurants I've visited in the states, this is a gem in terms of service. A very pleasant waitress told us about the features of this place and their menu and helped us choose coffee, after which she reserved the table, which was very nice. If you want a break from Starbucks and other self-service coffee shops, this is the place for you!In terms of the interior, it was nice to see beyond the usual tables, places by the fireplace and a summer veranda!Very tasty coffee and croissant! And they not only handed me a cup and plate, but also brought me cutlery with a napkin (a rarity) and sparkling water (wow). In short, I am very pleasantly surprised to find such a place in this area!P.s. The prices are reasonable and there is parking!“
“Tasty food with an emphasis on health, but not too weird hippie granola. Service was slowbut everyone was very nice. I would definitely recommend the chocolate mousse chia puddingVegetarian options: This place is actually vegan, but Google doesn't seem to understand that conceptDietary restrictions: Gluten free available“
“A cute cat-fe that serves handcrafted beverages and assists the Seattle Humane Society in helping find homes for cats! The baristas have always been friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. The latte art is really cute! Many of the cats are up for adoption within the cafe. The cafe also has resident cats that you can visit. The cat area is expertly set up for cat stimulation, exercise, naps, and places for kitties to hide away if they feel the need. For so many cats in one space, they do a great job at keeping it clean and odor free. SeaMeow also has yoga classes that you can attend alongside the cats! Assist your local cafe and humane society and stop by Seattle Meowtropolitan today!“
“Great coffee, fabulous scone and such amazing staff! Walked in for a coffee and left with a scone and smile on my face. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting. I felt like I could come back and work here peacefully. The coffee was very tasty, I got an iced gingerbread latte and I was very happy with it! The scone was very flavorful, soft, and moist. I highly recommend if you’re in the area and looking for a coffee or a cafe to work at for the day.“
“I like their desserts like their halo-halo and corn halo-halo. Their enseamadas are ok. The food they serve seam to be filipino style however their sisig was way too sweet and their bbq tasted like teriyaki. The food didn’t remind me of any true Filipino dishes.“
“Omg this shashuka was absolutely phenomenal. We also added on the lamb meatballs and they were delicious ? we got their smashed potatoes and they were nice and crispy. Their salted chocolate chip cookie was to die for and I'm a cookie snob. We both are big into cooking and flavors and overall the fat hen delivered!“
“Been here couple of times because it’s near my home. Quality food with fair price and tidy environment. Even though it’s a small local restaurant but they also plating the dish which shows the food is made with care and menu is designed as well.“
“Stopped for an Americano, and they had samples of a boysenberry Mazurka. Delicious! Had to buy one. The next day, I couldn't help but stop again for a repeat of both. If I lived in the area, it would be dangerous as I'd eventually have to try one of everything.2 different customers brought their well-behaved dogs who were given fresh looking treats. Great neighborhood vibe. People were socializing, and I didn't feel like the outsider I was.“
“Don't have a single bad thing to say about the place. Prices are immaculate for the amount of food you receive. Staff is so kind every time and the food tastes like they love you. BEST breakfast I've had since moving from Texas. Blueberry milkshake? ScrumdiblyumptiousBonus: Green salsa is addictive and breakfast sausage patties are my favorite underrated item“
“Pros:-Service is always amazing-The chicken is exceptional-Sauces are good plus the variety of the sauces means there's something for everyone.-Pile of tay-toes (your choice of tater tots, French fries, or sweet potato fries) is by far one of the best choices on the menu-Decent drink prices and selection-Great selection of board games or TCG products-Many events to sign up for-Theming and styleCons:Note: these are my subjective experiences/opinions-Parking is pretty abysmal-Smash burgers are pretty thin on the beef, I feel that doubling on the patties could let the beef contend with the other flavors on the burger.-Seating is usually a crapshoot even during the week. Reserving a table is basically the only way to guarantee seating, but even then, it can be pretty rough due to the amount of events that are run even reserving a table can be hard-Noise is almost always a problem, I leave without my voice on most occasions just trying to communicate with my fellow playersWith all the pros and all the cons I still give zulus games a 4 star review. They can't control the parking for the area, and there are paid options around (albeit very expensive for the area) and the free parking is available sometimes. It is a lively game store with amazing style and its a fun place to be. I will be buying most of my product from there, but I don't intend to sit at the tables too much.“
“I was so excited to try this place out and it didn't disappoint as a brunch spot. We came on that one Saturday when it was super nice out, and opted to sit outside. The wait staff were nice as well. We had the biscuit sandwich and the brunch board to share and they were both good! I only wished that it came with more bread because we ran out pretty quickly. I came a second time for happy hour but was disappointed that their happy hour was pricing more or less as regular time. We got a board for happy hour and had the corona bean & fennel, whipped avo spread, and crispy yam mochi. All were good but I highly rec the corona bean & fennel! This time, my friend asked if we could have more bread to go with our platter and they kinda gave us some. Not sure if that's the norm or if it's because it's happy hour! TLDR: I'd come back for brunch!“
“Great food. Love the veal tongue sandwich I got. Huge portion.Music is way too loud. Greek salad is a little bit too saucy.Over all good experience. Service is nice. Just wish the environment could be a little more cozy, less fast food like.“
“This place is awesome half gives a great vintage city cafe and the other half is a traditional sit down diner. The staff is wonderful friendly to the point of just having random conversation about things. The prices were great for the portion you get. We just stopped here on the way to the ferry but we'll be back it's well worth the drive.“
“My friend recommended me this place. Great place to study! I honestly came here to buy the sticker but their pastry took me by surprise. Their matcha muffin has red bean filling inside and it was delicious. Everything here has a Japanese twist to it and i love that. Lots of seats inside with stable WiFi. The barista was nice as well.“
“Heads up: their prices are SUBSTANTIALLY higher than it appears in the Google listing. I'm guessing it just hasn't been updated since pre pandemic. Can't speak to the food itself since I wasn't looking for fancy prices, and they also made me feel weird for wanting to dine alone.“
“This is the best Coffee shop in Washington state.I've tried 200+ coffee shops in Washington state, and I have not once encountered someone who could even MATCH what Cracken Coffee Roasters brings. The Pastries are Tasty. The Coffee is amazing, but what most impresses me about Cracken is Minh and her team showing up Every. Single. Day. Never once failing to provide exceptional customer service. If I were to choose a coffee place to be every morning for the rest of my life, it would be this one.“
“Great spot to get a sweet snack. I got the strawberry ice cream and it was very delicious and packed with strawberries and berries. Has a very nice vibe to it. There’s a bunch of stuffed animals around the building and overall very nice place only thing that could be a bit better is the service as, the staff only comes out when you press a bell. This would be great for anyone introverted, but feels offputting to extroverted people.“
“One of the most unique and delicious places to grab a bite!! The Icelandic yogurt is very creamy and delicious with the berries and granolas. The danish hotdog is high quality and tender with dill infused mustard and pickles. Def worth trying the tasty Nordic foods!“
“I come here a lot because they are open late and serve espresso. I find most of the options on the menu too expensive so I generally avoid them. The main area that needs improvement is the service. Most of the servers are not particularly friendly, and one of them has been plain rude to me. One and only one of them currently working here is nice to me, though there have been good ones in the past who no longer work here. This is after coming here for over a year. And yes, coffee tastes different depending on how nice the person is who makes it for you.“
“This is a place that reminds me of my college years. Probably because it was jammed with UW college students caffeinating before studying. The food menu is limited but what I had was good. The coffee and drinks menu was long and very tasty. I will return.“
“Always love coming here for tea and a scone. Some of the best sweets I’ve ever had and if you get the afternoon tea she will give you SO MUCH food that your entire party will be taking some home with you. Definitely get your moneys worth! The savory options are great too, I still think about how good the tomato soup was there“
“Cool local spot for fresh pastries, yummy coffee, and delicious paninis. The chicken panini with sun dried tomatoes on focaccia is excellent, and I also always order a ham and cheese pastry to go when I come here! Sadly there's no Wi-Fi, or else I would come here all the time to get some work done and enjoy the food and ambiance.“
“My home away from home. The owner and all the people who work here are wonderful and feel like family. The neighborhood folks all hangs here too. It’s a great place to be. Coffee, espresso and food is fantastic.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible bathroom and plenty of space for wheels. Very few tables but people usually get up if they see someone needs to sit.“

“This is our go to neighborhood cafe. The staff is great. The baked goods and coffee are top notch. They also sell and make drinks with Lighthouse Coffee which is my favorite Seattle roaster. If you live or are visiting do yourself a favor and stop in for a cup.“
“We tried the new extended dinner menu and got the vodka sauce pizza and buffalo wings. The wings were super meaty and saucy! They felt like really good value and I enjoyed them a lot. The pizza was huge, cheesy, and tasted great even as leftovers since we couldn’t finish it. Service was friendly and food got out quickly! Seemed pretty quiet but maybe because they only started the new hours a couple days ago“
“Snowy Village is a unique spot that serves a variety of bingsu flavors. Parking is accessible and there always seems to be a line. The store itself was very crowded. You order using a machine and they’ll call your number. I have to say it was a decent wait once we placed our order.I came here after breaking up with my boyfriend, and it definitely made me feel better about life. They have an option for everyone, but today I needed Oreo. Some days strawberry or taro just doesn’t cut it, and you need that dopamine-high-American-processed-artificial-flavor that Oreos give you.Good portions, the smallest size was enough for two people. Somewhat pricey, but ice cream in Seattle is already overpriced and this is a step up.I’ll be back and hopefully it won’t be after a breakup!Parking: Lots of parking on street in front“
“Went to Sabine Cafe for a quick afternoon bite with my teenager. We chose some appetizers to share off the menu: fried cauliflower, whipped feta with veggies, and the Za’atar fries. The service was friendly and efficient. The food arrived quickly, too.The food is middle eastern influenced. My teen didn’t like the tahini and feta flavors, unfortunately. ? She made the most of it though and ate some of the food… but just didn’t love it.Personally, I really enjoyed the atmosphere and outdoor glassed-in dining area, but also wasn’t blown away by the food we chose. (I noticed they have a breakfast/brunch menu - maybe this would be a better option next time…)“
“I ordered a bag of their first bloom spring blend coffee online. It comes very freshly roasted and tastes great. Nice balance of acidity and sweetness with a lingering berry aftertaste and medium body. If I ever make it to the pacfic northwest I'll be sure to stop inside.“
“Great little cafe with excellent espresso. I came late at about 10:30am and the food was gone so I can't speak to that. I love working here with a coffee. They have free Wi-Fi and a private back room for studying or working. They always have beautiful art from local artist on the walls for decoration and to purchase. It's like a rotating gallery and makes a great atmosphere.“
“Honestly, some of the most wholesome services I’ve received from any employees. The atmosphere is clean and everyone is friendly. I would recommend trying their secret menu item a Blended Mokaido with tapioca and Lychee Jelly. This shop is very professional everyone’s all smiles.“
“Drinks and pastries are good. They offer a limited drink menu of milk tea, tea, and a few unique coffee drinks. They have a wide variety of pastries but it's important to come in early/close to opening especially on a weekend to ensure you'll be able to get something you want as they sell out fast. They had to close early because they sold out completely before their closing time. There's lots of seating inside and they have high chairs for little ones. Cute decor inside and plenty of space. Bathrooms are also very clean. Good service and overall pretty quick even when they're busy.“
“This was my first time visiting this restaurant. The wait took a bit longer than the 25 minutes quoted, but that wasn't a huge deal. Our server was great and the food came out quickly. I rated it 4 stars because it was very claustrophobic inside. The tables were so close together that people were knocking items off our table with their rear ends while trying to get up from their tables or walking by. I also noticed an employee staring at diners for a long amount of time waiting for them to leave. I get it's busy, but I definitely feel like this is not a place I would come again to catch up with a friend. I felt very rushed and stressed out.“
“i feel called to make this post based on the experience i had at cafe lulu this morning. crawling out of bed on this sunny seattle morning to get my iced vanilla latte with cinnamon was my church. i found god in this latte today. i feel as though i found my way back home after being in exile for far, far too long. i didn't even mind standing in line as the other patrons and i waited to take what felt like communion. i implore anyone to give it a whirl and will be surprised if you don't leave changed, as i have today.“
“Bar Sabine was pretty packed on a Saturday night, and after having dinner at Asadero nearby, we decided to hit up Bar Sabine for some late-night cocktails. Even though we were the only ones waiting in line, we waited outside in the chilly Seattle night for 30 to 40 minutes. The wait made more sense once we stepped inside. The interior had tributes to Lord of the Rings everywhere from the decorations to the names of the drinks. They even had all three Lord of the Rings movies playing on different TVs at the same time. Although I do not know much about the franchise, I really appreciated the attention to detail and the tenacity to stick to the theme. The cool glassware matching the theme added to the vibe - like the White Hand of Saruman served in a black glass with a white handprint, or the Mirror of Galadriel with a mirror on a wooden box. I didn't check out the full menu, but I noticed other drinks coming in unique glasses, like barrels or mid-century mugs.I tried the Mirror of Galadriel, the White Hand of Saruman, and the Broken Sword of Narsil. The Broken Sword of Narsil was the standout, with fenugreek cream making it unique. It was so good that I had to ask the bartender for more cream. The White Hand of Saruman was on the sweet side, probably thanks to the condensed milk. The Mirror of Galadriel, with lavender gin and strawberry sake, packed more of a punch than I expected. All in all, the experience was worth the wait, and I'll definitely be back at Bar Sabine.“
“One of the only places to get white coffee in the area and definitely one of the best that I’ve ever had. I was a little wary of the service because of reviews but couldn’t have been happier to have met such a sweet and friendly barista! I absolutely loved my creme de menthe mocha with white coffee. It’ll definitely be my go to whenever I’m on this side of the state!!“
“Very busy on a Saturday morning, but there is a ton of seating. The quinoa potato bowl is very healthy and very delicious. Super attentive service - food cam out fast and our server got us condiments quickly with a smile on her face - more rare than common these days. Highly recommend!“
“Best Au Jus Sandwich ever. Wonderful roast beef and the bread was delicious. Very well seasoned sauce. Excellent French fries! And great side salad. Very generous portions. Great attentive service with kind servers. Will definitely be back! Reasonable prices.“
“I really love this place. The staff are really nice and just the place itself is really nice. There is usually music and games that you can play while drinking your drink. Sometimes the drinks take a while to get because there are a lot of other people but it is worth it!“
“Kindest person ever! Not only does she remember mine and my sister's usual orders, but she goes above and beyond to keep her customers happy.I went by today and realized I forgot my card but she said not to worry and next time I can cover it! Favorite stand by far.“
“Feb 29 2024 update: still great food, still very crowded! But it's worth it if you can find a seat. I had the veggie sandwich, which was very substantial and tasty! Paired with a nice Sauvignon Blanc. My friend had one of the most delicious Pinot Noir's we've ever tasted (so deep, sillier than normal, almost a brandy-like color and sweetness)! Ask to taste a sip of the wines to find a good pairing. Two lunches and two wines about $80. It can get very loud when it's packed, but it's fine if you can drown out the noise or if you're with a group that doesn't mind crowds.Seriously, it is a beautiful space and tasty healthy food. If you can, get a seat sit and stay a while. You'll love the green space and decor too!“
“This cute little cafe has the best food and coffee! So delish and like getting a warm food hug! I recently ordered brunch and it was amazinggg!! Lemon pancakes with blueberry fruit topping and home made whipped cream! It wasn't too sweet! The perfect combo!Seriously, the best pancakes I've ever had. I also ordered a quiche! It was packed full of meat and veggies, and had a perfect flaky crust and lots of cheese! My family loves it. The sandwiches are bomb too...don't even get me started on the house made sauce and sausage! Everything is sooo good!“
“I popped in to grab a cinnamon roll to go earlier. The inside is super cute so I'll definitely be back to try dining in. The enormous cinnamon rolls were in a case at the front. The bartender boxed mine up along with extra icing for an extra dollar. I split it with my partner when I got home, plenty for two people. The extra icing was a good move so you'd never have a bite not covered. It's not a gooey cinnamon roll but not dry, great cinnamon flavor, delicious icing. I'll definitely come back.“
“Carrot cake was good and moist. My iced coffee wasn’t as strong as I like. My daughter’s hot chocolate was $0.01 with my adult drink. Her hot chocolate was really good, not overly sweetened. The girl at the cash register was very friendly! We quickly found parking nearby.“
“If you’re interested in an “old-fashioned” eating experience, this is for you. Appears rather well-used, even run-down. The greeting was genuine, service was well-practiced, the food was exactly what we expected at what today are reasonable prices. What more did we need? Not a thing.Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid-friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Seems fine for accessibility“
“Delicious açaí bowl and the best chai I’ve had since I was on a trip to India. Great customer service and safety standards during these times. Will definitely be back and excited to try more off the menu. (And sharing the news of this place with friends already because I hope they stay in our community for a very long time! Love having delicious and healthy options like this!)“
“I have been going here for more than two decades for some of the best coffee I have ever consumed. There is very little staff turnover. All of the baristas speak very highly of Maria, the owner. They use Monin brand syrups which are the absolute best on the market! I rarely give any business a five star rating but Espresso Break completely deserves it!“
