“I had my birthday breakfast there, first time going. We had a large group so we called two weeks ahead for reservations. We had their beautiful private room that was all set up for us, with lots of coffee and water. Our food came out all together, hot, so flavorful and comforting. Everyone commented on how yummy it all was. Their staff were the best in the business, they should give a class to others on what great service is. Highly recommend, a gem in Centralia. Also great shops all around to enjoy after an amazing meal. A must go and often!“

“The food was awesome, everything was cooked correctly. I got the steak with there bacon butter. Saw some of the burgers go by to another table and those things large.

The only draw back to the restaurant is that it is an older stile building. If you are 6 feet tall your head will hit the ceiling lights or some of the decorations.“

“I ordered the chicken teriyaki bowl with steamed rice and stir fried veggies. Definitely a nice portion size, more than enough for 2 people. I was only able to eat just under half and was more than full. Enough left overs for another meal. The only thing there could have been more of was the teriyaki sauce. The stir fried veggies were extremely delicious.“

“This wonderful warm welcoming restaurant is close to home and we have tried many choices on the menu. Each time it is delicious, very generous, and we are welcomed and comfortable in a very clean but colorful environment. From elders to toddlers in our family, all want to go here! “It is a pool hall so if you are looking for real quiet never mind. It's not real noisy but can get a bit raucous. They have a excellent seasonal menu besides their usual one. “I am a local farmer who sells to South Pacific Bistro since 2012. And I eat their food. Seafood hot and sour soup is spicy hot and sour and loaded with calamari shrimp local veggies and oh so tasty. And I and my wife have eaten many other menu items. I have also spotted chefs from other restaurants I sell my goodies to, eating at South Pacific Bistro. An out of the way, hole in the wall, surprise of tasty treats at very reasonable prices. Huey is the chef and comes from a family of long time Vietnamese chefs, and Malissa, the hostess everything in the restaurant not cheffing, knows how to serve the goodies and be very sociable. “I stayed here because it was 5 minutes from where I was working for two days and because I live near the McMenimans Anderson School and have been to several of the restaurants and bars there several times.

The hotel is definitely a historic building. Definitely cool but also creaky and everything that comes with an old building. I thought the communal bathroom would bother me but it was not an issue. Several near my room. Room had no TV which I didn’t think about but I’m sure was advertised. Mt room was clean and the bathrooms were clean every time I used them. Close proximity to the train tracks is my biggest complaint. Very loud several times a night and in the morning with the horn because there is a crossing near the hotel. They have earplugs in the side table but I didn’t want to miss my alarm.

The staff was very nice. The restaurant downstairs is good, I would recommend it. They have a movie theater. It was cheap and definitely interesting. I would say worth the money.“

The owner (I believe) taking your order 50/50 shot she was waiter too (unless young guy was there, he was good too)... Normally had her daughter in a booth drawing or something. Felt like she was inviting us into her home for a meal. Still awesome take-out 👌“
