“I have been seeing their lunch specials on Facebook for quite some time. Today when I went to get the mail, I decided I’d sneak across the river and pick up lunch for everyone. Today’s special is Tina’s favorite sandwich. Tony and I are having the full Beacon Burger with onion rings.”

“A busy, well-liked place! The soft-serve is delicious! There's lots of fast food choices as well. Limited parking because of location... We parked a block away and ordered at the walk-up window. There are a few benches to choose from. There was a long line of vehicles in the single drive-thru lane. No one seemed to mind waiting their turn! ???”

“My wife and I were in Stevenson for a long weekend celebrating our anniversary. We were excited to find an organic coffee roaster 5 minutes from our hotel. I had the espresso, and my wife, who prefers tea, had the London Fog. Our barista was wonderful, and both drinks were magnificent. In fact, the London Fog I tasted from my wife was so incredible that we went back the following morning and ordered 1 espresso and 2 London Fogs 🙂 We had a different barista -- same great service and same wonderful drinks. If you are staying in Stevenson or just passing through, Bigfoot Coffee Roasters is a must stop!
Vegetarian options: We did not order any food, but we had oat milk in the London Fog, and they offer non-dairy options for their drinks.”

“We had our 65 person wedding at Gorges last month. When we were looking for a wedding venue, we wanted something easy and open that didn’t lock us into a super traditional wedding day. Gorges is, pun intended, gorgeous, and fully supported our vision for a relaxed, easy wedding day. 90% of our guests were traveling in, so the close proximity to Portland and the airport was ideal. It certainly didn’t feel like we were close to the city, though — our guests were blown away by the mountain and river views on the patio. We’re big foodies and love craft beer, and were pleased with both the quality of the food and bev and the all-inclusive packages they put together.
The star of Gorges, both as a brewery and as a wedding venue, is the owner, Travis. His kindness and transparency is a much-needed balm to the stress and confusion of wedding planning. He’s an excellent communicator and problem-solver — the issues we ran into would be resolved by the end of a conversation with him.
If you’re also looking for a beautiful, relaxed wedding venue with incredible food, in a great location, Gorges Beer Co is the venue for you.”

“The food here is amazing. The lemon pepper wings and smoked nachos are delicious. But you can't go wrong with the burgers and pizza either...some of the best in town! A little pricey, but there are definitely ways to eat here without spending an arm and a leg because of the variety. Did I mention the view of the Columbia River?! Breathtaking.”

“This location has stepped it up recently, I've been back two times after a not so good experiance several months ago. Everything is fresh, delicious and clean.”
“This is absolutely my favorite place to go to for family dining! The staff is super sweet and attentive, bathrooms and restaurant are both very clean, the food is delicious, they often change the menu for specials, they have an excellent kids menu, and of course a wide variety of beers on tap. The view is also spectacular. You can see the mountains and the Columbia Gorge River. They do a lot of neat community events that enrich the area and help families in need. All around a wonderful business. If you’re in the area, definitely make a point to visit Thunder Island Brewing Company!”

“I stayed at Skamania Lodge several days over the weekend for a conference. I ate dinner in the Cascade Dining room for convenience sake, yet I still found the food and service to be top quality.
I haven't stayed or dined here before, and I had no expectations whatsoever. The dining room is spacious and has a nice, elegant, yet rustic feel to it. I dined at 530 each night and had no need for reservations. I was seated promptly by the windows on the east side with a great view of the mountains in the background.
The servers were knowledgeable and attentive, checking in frequently to make sure I was happy. I ordered roasted chicken first night, halibut the second and a pork chop the third. All meals were excellent, though my favorite turned out to be the chop. It was very flavorful, cooked exquisitely, and was very lean yet juicy and succulent. ?
I tried a different cocktail each night and found them all great in their own right. The Boulevardier, the Lodge Lounger, and the Old Fashioned were each well-balanced and alcohol forward pours. A flavorful accent to the meals.
I enjoyed my stay very much and would recommend the Cascade Dining room to weary travelers who do not want to search for a decent meal off property. Relax and fear not. The meal you want is right there around the corner. ?”
