“Our favorite little ramen / Japanese restaurant in Puyallup. The waitresses are always super friendly and attentive. The restaurant is small and quaint but clean and comfortable. There is a small parking lot in the back and a few stalls in the front. Their black garlic ramen is always our favorite.Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs and offer little children's bowls and scissors for children to eat.“

“One of the best restaurants ive found in years. I dont understand any negative comments, i recommend eating at the restaurant. Chill music and atmosphere, tasty fresh food. A lot of meat and vegetarian options (all options with a leaf by it are veggie). The wasabi is the high-quality aromatic, hits you, authentic stuff. Not the dyed green knock off. Same likely with all else they have. Friendly staff. What else is there to say. Prices seem on point with the area. Thank you staff, your all awesome and i cannot wait to have another night out here with the wife or friends.I appreciate that they dont pour the water but give you a glass with fruit in it to pour yourself, to cut down on waste. Also give you options of black metal silverware (fork ect) or wooden chopsticks.“

“We were fans of La Fandita in Proctor. We’re pleased that the quality of Ruca’s food retains the same high standard. It is a joy to find Willie at his new digs, doing what he does best, serving great food, in a welcoming neighborhood. We’ll be back, with friends, to savor the many delights of Ruca Restaurant on McKinley Ave.“

“My husband and I were visiting my brother and his wife for their wedding and decided to check the area for a good Asian spot. We were visiting from STL and our favorite STL Asian restaurant was also called Indo. We had to try. Of course this is not a chain, so we were curious how well the two compared. All I can say is wow. This place is ?? ‼️The flavors, ambiance, service, quality -- this will be a staple when we go back to visit for sure. Our recommendations would be the Vermicelli Noodle Bowl and Pork Belly Yakitori.Vegetarian options: Tofu, saladDietary restrictions: Gluten free and dairy free“

“I love the food here. Especially Korean style fried chicken is so good. Very big burito that can't finish in one meal. It has a great atmosphere with excellent service!!I recommend this restaurant best in Tacoma. You really need to stop by here and try refreshing boba!!“

“This evening we tried The Tilted Rock and it definitely did not disappoint. There is something on the menu for everyone. We individually ordered the chicken teriyaki, the arab burger, chicken adobo and the yakisoba. Every plate was delicious and full of flavor. We were encouraged by the chef to try an authentic Ethiopian dish, Yetsom Beye Ayinetu, and all I can say is oh my goodness… it was AMAZING! The flavors were to die for. Thank you so much for a great dinner and a new family favorite. (And I’ll add, the prices were extremely reasonable)“

“Went here just for the pho, based on another reviewers experience. It was ok, broth taste watered down, little meat, not worth coming again for the pho. I never tried the thai food so maybe that's better. I was just passing through but I already have my go to pho spots back home.“

“While in downtown Tacoma, Washington my friend recommended I check out TheKoi one of her favorite sushi restaurants in the area. She certainly steered me in the right direction. Professional and quick service. The sushi was so fresh it almost melted in my mouth. Stop in if you’re in the downtown area maybe after visiting the Tacoma Arts Museum. You sushi lovers will have a new favorite dining location to haunt.“

“Only been there once so far but we've been looking for good filipino food - we moved to Tacoma from the Bay Area in California and many options for Filipino food but not so much here in Tacoma so glad we found it. Can't wait to go again and try something new - the Pork Adobo is very tasty and so tender.“

“This place is amazing! The food is great and at a good price. The lady behind the register, June, is a gem. The food is delicious and her customer service and friendly demeanor makes you want to keep coming back. She made us feel very welcome when we moved to Tacoma a few years back. I always recommend this place to people when they ask for good Chinese food.“
“There’s no way for me to express my gratitude enough, tamu and her team are amazing and responsive. Hire them for all your catering needs. They offer the best east african dishes in WA in my opinion. I miss Ugandan food and ordering from them reminds me of our local food.“

“Súper good !!! At first I was skeptical because I felt like the theme was the reason why it’s famous and the food might not be as good but I was proved wrong. The service is good and the food is delicious especially the portions! I’ve seen in other establishments how it’s around the same price but the quantity of the food is half of what’s served here. Definitely coming back !“

“The food was amazing. We had a party of 10 for a birthday and they put us in the room with the fireplace which is awesome. It was nice and private and we felt like we could all talk without overpowering other guests around us. However, the room was really cold, the fireplace was not on and there was no music to set a mood. Maybe if we had been in the main dining area that atmosphere might've felt a little bit more warm and cozy. That was the first time any of us has been there. We all agreed that we would go back and try again, because the food was so delicious!“

“This place is a gem for Filipino food! I usually get the chicken adobo and it's SO good. The meat falls off the bone and you get a nice portion for UNDER $10 WITH rice. Rice isn't extra. They have various options for they lumpia as well! I can't have too much red meat so I usually get the ginger garlic and it's absolutely delicious. They're pretty nice with the sauce as well. if you really like it they have it bottled! The ONLY complaint I have is I wish I could get a little more sauce with the adobo but the rice just absorbs like all of it but that's just a preference really. You have to order online but check out is simple and easy! If you love Filipino food I highly recommend!“

“If you’re on à la carte, everything is good and perfect. Interesting banchan everytime, 10/10. Portion size is big as well. But I won’t recommend their BBQ buffet, the quality is kinda off for me. They’re also selling lettuce on the side for an extra of $2 or $4 (can’t remember). But for that buffet price, it should be included. So their a la carte is good, but you should try korean buffets in federal way.“

“My wife and I have been going here for years. We have brought lots of friends and family over the years to Trappers. This last time we were there was so disgusting that we were going to walk out. the iced tea was so weak that it looked like dirty water that you could see through. We ordered our normal. We were sitting in the bar and could see the counter when the food was placed there. It set there for 12 minutes before our server brought it to us. Off and on for the whole 12 minutes the door greeter kept going over and leaning over and running his hands through his hair over our food. When they finally brought it to us we asked for a manager. We were not going to eat this after watching what happened. She was a young girl with attitude. She never said sorry for what had happened. After a few minutes with talking with her she offered to remake our dinner and give us a discount. We accepted and the food was just okay. We did not pay for the iced tea and we just drink water. It will probably be a long time before we come back after our experience.“
