“At Pao’s you won’t find fancy doughnuts like at Voodoo or Legendary, but what they do have is the best glazed raised doughnuts in the PNW. Light, airy and soft; the perfect simple doughnut. The maple bars and apple fritters are pretty good as well. The one downside is the toppings and fillings: The Bavarian cream, for example, is not filled with pastry cream and the chocolate topping barely tastes like chocolate.“

“I normally don’t review a restaurant after one visit, but Marzano was exceptional. It’s an approachable fine dining experience. The staff was great, and definitely give the impression that they genuinely care about your visit. We took a chance on the appetizer special, and were very happy that we stepped outside our comfort zone (Traditional Venetian antipasto of marinated salt cod on squid ink polenta cakes paired with whipped ciccione crostini, sour cherries and hazelnuts). The lasagna bolognese and carbonara were absolutely amazing from the first bite to the last. I’ve never had better.“

The table was decorated with a long stemmed red rose and a birthday card. Our meal was so delicious! Cocktails, starters, dinner and dessert were pure perfection! Thank you chef(s). “Corina Bakery made the wedding cake for our reception last night, and it was absolutely perfect. The design was just what I wanted, and the cake itself was delicious! We had to pick the cake up, and they packaged it just right for an easy trip to our venue. Communication with the ladies was easy and convenient. “My husband and I both got the 12 Burger. Soo delicious! The PB and jelly on the burger, with bacon and cheese. Best combo ever!! Only thing I would improve on was more jam. Asked for more, little too late, burger was 75% gone but was accommodated nonetheless. Def made a big improvement, even though it was delicious anyway. Cooked perfectly, as well. “I've been going here for many years. I used to bring my daughter to select snacks for her lunches and just for fun. Recently. I brought my grandchildren with me to pick out an after school treat. The store is always well stocked and neat and clean. The employees are friendly and helpful.“

“My typical order is the grilled cheese with tomato soup. The grilled cheese reminds me of the classic grilled cheese from my childhood, and the American cheese they use tastes very similar to Kraft. The workers are always so friendly and recognize their regulars, which makes the experience even better. Love them!“

“I understand the negative reviews. Political opinions should stay private. But a business is personal so ignore what offends you. I had a nice time. This is one of those places mindset and company matter more than the wow factor due to the atmosphere. I travel to many states and eat in many places, this was cozy, food was homie, coffee was great, server was kind, and the decorations of old cars are appreciated. A great spot for a quick bite on road trips.“

“This review is based off of the one time I've gone. I went after work with my colleagues, they stayed and had their food, I got mine to go. All of them enjoyed their dishes. When I got home and ate my food, I was very surprised.
Because of where I live, I eat a lot of Vietnamese food. This place was definitely different. First of all, the staff were very nice. Secondly, the noodle salad was unlike others I've had. The highest praise goes to the shrimp. I've never had a shrimp roll as good as this was. The ingredients were fresh and delicious. I will definitely come back to try more dishes. I understand the hype now.“

Serves mostly older clients which makes for a quiet and peaceful atmosphere making it perfect for both relaxing solo dining and casual weekend lunch with friends. Not only did I enjoy the best martini I’ve ever had (make sure you take Payton’s recommendation and order the Gunpowder Gin), but the food was delectable. We started with the Formosa Roll and enjoyed the shrimp tacos and steak. The Formosa Roll was savory and spicy, the shrimp were perfectly cooked for the tacos and the steak came with potato spirals that I didn’t know I needed in my life, but absolutely do! A true gem of Tacoma, bravo Eric and team!“

“I accidentally forgot to complete my order online but the Sienna and the rest of the staff honored the 30% off coupon and helped me recreate my order. She was super helpful ringing me up. They had it all ready in less than 10 minutes. I wish there was a spot to sit but that's not on them. Awesome location!
