“Decided to take a random drive on Labor Day up to Point Roberts. Started our Point Roberts sightseeing with a delicious lunch at the Reef Tavern. This appears to be the place where locals and tourists alike visit. There is a spectacular outdoor seating area next to the ocean and each table has an umbrella.

We opted to eat inside. I ordered a hamburger with fries for $16. My wife had the fish (cod) & chips with a side bowl of clam chowder($3 additional). Everything was very delicious.

Our waitress was very friendly, frequently checked on us, and offered us places to visit in the afternoon. Lovely service and tavern.

“We decided to visit Point Roberts, and arrived hungry! We liked the menu and the food did not disappoint. I had the spinach salad with added chicken. Everything was fresh and tasty. My partner opted for breakfast, served all day, and enjoyed a bagel with lox, topped with red onion and capers. There was a soup of the day and a variety of sandwiches. We chose to save room for one of the delectable pastries displayed on the counter. While we ate lunch, two different fellows came in, sent to “pick up something sweet” to bring home.

Service was friendly and attentive. One orders at the counter, but staff bring food to the table, offer water and more coffee, etc. The cafe is small inside, with a nice deck for outdoor dining. We were there on a sunny summer day, but I think it would be quite cozy on a chilly day…maybe another little day trip to see some fall color and a lunch of soup and one of the panini sandwiches…“

“Wow!!! Thank you for the excellent service and delicious Vietnamese food, at an affordable price!! The broth in the Pho is very tasty, and all the ingredients taste super fresh!!! Even when they are busy, service is still top-notch!!! If you haven't experienced this gem, I can say first hand, you most definitely are missing out!!! “My friend and I stopped off here for some refreshments during our bike ride around Ladner. It's a bit off the beaten path but not too far, as it's a working farm. Great place to sit, relax and enjoy the delicious craft brew. Lots of seating, covered and uncovered. I got the flight for $12, which includes choice of 4 beers.

“Tastes so good but be aware that the sizes are larger than you think. I can't really finish larger than a small and I usually feel pretty satisfied with just a mini size.“

“So upset I did not find this place before moving to cloverdale from north delta. It’s hard to find a pub that checks every box but this place has it. I got the wings ( of course) they were saucy and cooked to perfection. The blue cheese was the good chunky kind!!I sat by where the food was coming out and every time a meal passed me it smelt unreal. The owner even came out at one point to see how patrons would like a beer he was thinking of bringing in..The staff were on top of every refill and dirty dish. I will drive out from cloverdale to keep coming to this place.“
