The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating, making sure everything ran smoothly. The venue itself is stunning, with a gorgeous view that creates the perfect atmosphere for any celebration. Whether you’re hosting a wedding, party, or special event, this place is top-notch. Highly recommend!“

“Wonderful meal, excellent risotto, so creamy and delicious. Five of us are here for a bike weekender. We have our share of excellent restaurants in Portland, and this meal in Port Townsend was a standout!“

“At first glance, venue appeared small. But once inside, we experienced intimacy without feeling crowded, even though the house was full. Decor was very nice. Our server was professionally friendly and attentive without hovering. And the food! Oh, my! We understood why everyone, from our hotelier to shopkeepers to a random couple on the street told us not to leave Port Townsend without dining there. It was our 50th wedding anniversary and a very fitting choice.“

“Great diner and a excellent lounge. The food is consistently good! Wonderful staff!“
“This lovely small hotel right in the heart of Port Townsend. I walked to restaurants, the Saturday Farmers Market, and shops. The deck off the waterfront room was sunny and peaceful - perfect to enjoy morning coffee. Self check-in worked great, and the room was well stocked with everything I needed. Will definitely return when I'm in PT!Note that the hotel was beautifully renovated in 2018, so older reviews (especially ones about food from the now-closed restaurant below) don't reflect the current experience.“

“I go to Port Angeles typically once a month. The last year, I have been making this trip on Tuesdays. I arrive at the ferry early and take a walk. That’s when I think, it would nice to have a coffee. Oh ya, Callens is right across the street. Unfortunately, they are closed on Tuesdays and don’t open till 9am the other days. I only bring this up because virtually every time, I see people walking up to find the only business capable of serving coffee at the ferry terminal closed. Obviously, I have no idea how much staffing they have and certainly they need a day off. I am only pointing out they have a captive audience here looking for coffee and possibly something to eat while they wait for the ferry. Thank you for the opportunity to express my thoughts as I would like to support this local business.“

“Staff were awesome. Super friendly and quick. Food was amazing. Best food I’ve had in a very long time. I will be making a trip to Port Townsend from Ocean Shores soon mainly to eat here again. Highly recommend to everyone. I had the duck poutine and chicken club sandwich. Even the house salad was amazing.“

“Some of the best brisket I’ve had the only downside was they do not offer cornbread but still 5 star pulled pork and ribs are excellent as well“

“Food here was delicious - excellent Fat Smitty burger, and it is massive! The BBQ pork sandwich was also very good. The milkshake and hot chocolate was fine.
Vibes are fun inside. Dollars are hanging on the walls and you can add your own if you want. There was a lot of Halloween decor up since we went in October. Very festive!
Service was fine. The waitress was not super friendly.
Lots of political signs on the outside of the restaurant, which feels unnecessary and tacky.
Cash only with ATM inside. Prices are with tax so the bill was a whole number.
Overall, really good food and a unique roadside stop!“

“Good Diner/Cafe breakfast, good breakfast, they were short staffed and a little behind but the server did a good job explaining. At $3.89 for a single egg and $3.49 a cup for coffee prices are high for the setting….. $43 for basic breakfast for two add a tip and we have cleared the $50 marker. I know it’s the times we are living in, but it still is very concerning!?“

“We stayed at the Marina RV Park for the weekend and decided to walk on over the night we got in. We had the BEST food and service, we loved it so much that we came back with some friends the next day for lunch. This place has quickly become one of our favorite restaurants, we will be back anytime we’re in Port Townsend. We were talking about that Prime Rib & Cheddar for the rest of the day and into the morning 😆🤤“
