“We’ve been to The Sip twice now and honestly I am so glad that something like this opened up near us. As a mama of two, one 4 year old with autism and one verrryyy precocious one year old, it can be difficult for my husband and I to get out and have fun in an environment that feels safe and comfortable to our kids. This place does that and more- from the wonderful and gracious girls who work the counter to the board games and puzzles shelved thoughtfully. The kids charcuterie is perfect. The food is delicious and everything is well priced. I hope that they get even more taps going in the future (more seltzer options would be awesome). I could not be more thankful that The Sip opened up and gave us a place downtown that ACTUALLY feels welcoming to families- something I feel can be few and far between in Washington.“
“If you’d like to step back in time and visit a true dive bar full of history everywhere you look, this is the place for you. Steve shared so many great stories and memorabilia with us. It’s no-frills, nothing fancy and was an experience I won’t soon forget. It has indoor and outdoor seating, a pool table and a bar cat named Willie (he was outside sunning himself when we arrived). Fun little stop in Lofall!“

“I don't recommend! The Loft needs to learn how to be kind to all types of people! The Loft needs to not discriminate because of size, shape, color or difference or disability one might have! It was shameful how you treated one of your guests!“

“Looking for a breakfast place for Sunday-after-church. Never thought to stop here as we’re not golfers. . . What a find! Nice and quiet, you can watch the golfers on the driving range, and good food. Great service and reasonable prices. Hubby had the Sampler breakfast and I had the Hash Brown Stack. Best hash browns I’ve had. Only complaints? The coffee isn’t strong enough for me, and the food plate had a big chip on it. Otherwise, top notch. We’ll be back. ❤️“

“We went to Tracyton Public House for the first time last night and immediately felt welcomed. When the man at the door was checking IDs, we mentioned we’d never been in and he gave us his food recommendations. We took him up on that and ordered the wings! They are SO insanely good (and HUGE!!). Each sauce we got was remarkable. So much flavor. The bartender was very nice and friendly and welcoming. The whole vibe of the place was really cool. Can’t wait to go back!“

“You HAVE to go here if you're ever in Silverdale. The atmosphere is chill and the bartenders are awesome! The manager remembered our names when we were only in there once. Neighborhood bar feel even when you're just passing through. Food is amazing, classic bar food.“

“The food was great! Bartenders amazing! However we were sitting at the bar, had been there all night. Security came up and told us they were taking our chairs because it was getting busy. When I asked where do we go, the answer from security person “ohh you can stay here but you have to stand. It’s too busy to sit here.” Was a great night, turned into not so great. It was like being asked to leave. We were drinking so it wasn’t like we were just sitting there doing nothing not paying. ?♀️“

“The band last night was awesome 12/7/2024. They nailed several ACDC songs which are difficult to play! I love the classic rock that they showcased. Great drinks and service! I never got the name of the band but hopefully the owner will read this.“

“This post is from Pacific Northwest Foodies. Doc’s Marina Grill ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’ve been on the quest for a great Crab Louie salad for a few years. Sadly, this classic crab salad is hard to find even in states like Washington. I suspect it has to do with most people not wanting to pay a lot of money for a salad, but if you’ve ever had a great one, you know this one is worth it. After doing a lot of research, I made a point to try the one at Doc’s Marina Grill on Bainbridge Island, Washington. There’s also a location in Port Townsend, Washington. For starters, I ordered a cup of Doc’s House Made Clam Chowder ($8) - famous because it’s “oh-so-good!” It needed a sprinkle of salt, but it was very good. For my entrée, I ordered Doc’s Dungeness Crab Louie ($38) - mixed greens topped with tender crab, seasonal vegetables, heirloom tomatoes and Doc’s house-made Louie dressing. I was impressed! I would rate Doc’s Crab Louie a 4/5. It was beautifully presented, had a generous portion of crab, and the house made Louie dressing was excellent! I would give this salad a perfect rating if they removed the red onion, and added a few black olives and asparagus spears. Even so, I was very happy with my salad and would rank it among one the best Crab Louie’s I’ve ever had. It is certainly the best I’ve had in Washington state. In addition to serving great food, I really enjoyed the ambience of Doc’s, and the service was excellent! I look forward to visiting again and try and some new menu items. *The upstairs level and bathrooms are wheelchair accessible. * There is an opening above the urinal that is a giant periscope. It provides a panoramic view of Eagle Harbor. It was designed by Lee Scott, a Carnegie Mellon graduate student. If you don’t use a urinal, but are interested in seeing the periscope, staff will clear the room so you can check it out too. I didn’t know about this until after my visit. Next time, I will be sure to check it out. 😊 Highly Recommended!!!“

“I absolutely love small family run businesses like details wine bar. They went out of their way to accommodate our girls day out with a friend visiting from out of state. They made us feel like we were visiting good friends on a Saturday afternoon. The wine was incredible (thank you for the recommendation!) and we will definitely be back.“
