“The veggie hash at Sweets & Savories is one of my favorite meals in Kitsap! Hearty & healthy. I love this little cafe. The staff is always delightful and the sweets are always delicious. They always have a couple gluten free options in the case which is so appreciated!“

“I am an aficionado of coffeeshops - and this little slice of heaven ranks up with European coffeehouses I have been to full of a community feel, cozy charm and friendly baristas. The only downside is pretty much everybody in the area knows about it, too. So you may not get a seat at the more busy times. But keep trying - it is worth many repeated attempts!“

“I stopped in here for my first time after spending 2 fun days in Poulsbo and BB Island. The owner and I started chatting and wow, she is such a sweet caring person! We talked about my mom who has dementia, my special ed teaching career and more... she is so friendly and truly made me feel welcome. The mocha was delicious, I will definitely be back here next time I'm in the area.“

“Holly did amazing! I got my second lobes.
I got a little lightheaded but they helped me through it. Got me a soda and were very attentive. Didn’t rush me and made sure I was good until I got up. I would highly recommend this place“
“Great place to stretch your legs after being on the ferry. It's a fun place to find that little something for someone special. You need to check out the shell museum upstairs. Great for the person who is not a shopper. Then, in summer, you need to check out the Pope Talbot museum in the basement. It is small, but it is worth checking out.“

“The new owners previously owned Shop Agora in Seattle, which is one of the best Greek and European food stores. And the owners have brought that same spirit to the Marketplace. Incredible wines, delicious falafel, and perfect Halloumi fries. Couldn’t be happier to have them in the neighborhood 🙌🏻“

“Great service. One gal running around, but she was very efficient and friendly. Spacious place. Lots of seating and patio tables, too. My sandwich was really good. Prices are slightly high but seem reasonable compared to most of the places in the area.“

“Good service and large booths and many tables. Food was 3 to 4 stars - about what you’d expect at a hotel breakfast/lunch cafe. The best plate we had was the Eggs Benedict. Good hollandaise, perfectly cooked eggs, light and delicious ham and tasty hash browns. The Chicken Fried Steak was “pretty good” but not great. We prefer it made from ground or pounded beef and this was a breaded sirloin. Large, but a touch firm and just not as delicious as what we usually get in Portland diners. The eggs and hash browns were cooked perfectly and it was probably enough food for two folks to share.
Our son got the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were lovely: fluffy and large. Definitely homemade. The gravy was more buttery than creamy and hardly any sausage in it. I’m kinda on the fence about recommending it and my son said he wished he got pancakes instead.
Prices weren’t too bad. I would eat here again if I come back to the great Clearwater Resort.
Vegetarian options: There were several vegetarian options especially if you like omelettes, salads or pancakes.
Parking: Lots of parking spots in garage or lot.
Kid-friendliness: Kids menu and casual dining
Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of space and large entrance.“
“I love the vibe at BN. It’s part book store and part cafe. I’m thrilled to be able to order a title for pick up if I’m in a rush or linger with a book and hot coffee and desert. The staff is warm and friendly without being too pushy or fake retail. You can tell they appreciate books. The only minor tweak is that the Starbucks Cafe is not corporate owned. Only reason I mentioned it is that BN cannot redeem Sbux points. But that’s a minor issue. Overall Grade A.“

“We had the pulled pork and sweet potatoe taco special today as well as the special chicken tortilla soup. Both were amazing, tasted homemade, and so delicious! We'll be back soon!“
