Staff was welcoming and informative. It was obvious that our meals were prepared with care. Clean and efficient dining space.

“I wouldn’t recommend a special trip to Port Gamble, but there are a few things to spend a few hours or half a day doing. Most of the shops are overpriced yawners, but the general store is very different. It has a cafe, coffee shop, and general shopping. Don’t sleep on the second floor seashell museum.“

“Great service. One gal running around, but she was very efficient and friendly. Spacious place. Lots of seating and patio tables, too. My sandwich was really good. Prices are slightly high but seem reasonable compared to most of the places in the area.“

“Yes to the hotel. It was nice, comfy and the staff were super friendly. The food on the other hand, not good at all. We ate at the pizza place, and the Dragon eighty eight. Both were less then average. I got the surf and turf at the Dragon, never have I received a steak cut into an even chunks. And the plate was dripping in sauce, it almost felt like I was eating canned dog food. If they amped up the food here, it would be so much better! We did enjoy ourselves but did feel like all the food we ate, was just not good :/“

“I love the vibe at BN. It’s part book store and part cafe. I’m thrilled to be able to order a title for pick up if I’m in a rush or linger with a book and hot coffee and desert. The staff is warm and friendly without being too pushy or fake retail. You can tell they appreciate books. The only minor tweak is that the Starbucks Cafe is not corporate owned. Only reason I mentioned it is that BN cannot redeem Sbux points. But that’s a minor issue. Overall Grade A.“

“I often stop by The Marketplace during my work lunch breaks or on a Saturday afternoon, and it’s always a treat. Their chicken pita dish is delicious, and the side of baklava makes for the perfect sweet finish. The atmosphere is warm, friendly, and inviting — a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a meal or a bottle of wine. I highly recommend spending some time in this delightful establishment. “Good service and large booths and many tables. Food was 3 to 4 stars - about what you’d expect at a hotel breakfast/lunch cafe. The best plate we had was the Eggs Benedict. Good hollandaise, perfectly cooked eggs, light and delicious ham and tasty hash browns. The Chicken Fried Steak was “pretty good” but not great. We prefer it made from ground or pounded beef and this was a breaded sirloin. Large, but a touch firm and just not as delicious as what we usually get in Portland diners. The eggs and hash browns were cooked perfectly and it was probably enough food for two folks to share.

Our son got the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were lovely: fluffy and large. Definitely homemade. The gravy was more buttery than creamy and hardly any sausage in it. I’m kinda on the fence about recommending it and my son said he wished he got pancakes instead.

Prices weren’t too bad. I would eat here again if I come back to the great Clearwater Resort.

Vegetarian options: There were several vegetarian options especially if you like omelettes, salads or pancakes.

Parking: Lots of parking spots in garage or lot.

“We had Smokin Robinsons at my wedding and the DELIVERED. Everyone absolutely loved the cornbread - it was still FANTASTIC two days later (we had way too much food lol), the brisket was falling apart as we picked it up to put on our plates, the mac and cheese was EXACTLY what I needed, and the baked beans disappeared so fast. I’ve always loved this restaurant and knew I wanted their amazing food at my wedding and they did NOT disappoint. Thank you for helping to make my day even better.“

There’s also a little area that you can write on postcards to family/friends and the coffee shop will stamp and mail those free of charge for you. Overall, Pegasus Coffee exceeded my expectations and was more than worth the trip.“
