“I visited ilani for the first time yesterday. It is a very beautiful high end place. Chef Jets food looked so yummy and fresh. I stopped by to read the menu and Chef Jet offered me a sample of each item. His samples not only were huge but he was So friendly. I ended up ordering a one entree plate which comes with a side, an entree, a vegetable and an order of one more item. My food was absolutely delicious. On top of that, while I was eating in the food court, Chef Jet brought me out two of the cream cheese wontons for free just because. Highly recommend, very good place!“

“10 out of 10!!!! The staff is very very nice and always super attentive and detailed. The atmosphere is clean, it is decorated nicely, and I love to take my family here! We love everything, especially the specialty "House roll" sushi, noodles, fried rice, and Xiao long boa (dumplings)! The food is fresh, it tastes very good, and you get a good-sized portion. ?“

“Went there with the wife, son and his fiance to celebrate. We were not disappointed. The tepanyaki food and experience is comparable to what you will experience of you go to Benihana's at about 1/3 less. From what I recall, the menu is also more limited here although it has the basics, chicken, beef, seafood and tofu. It's also a lot more convenient for us in Vancouver vs going to Beaverton. There was a pretty hefty wait to get started with the food prep at the table, and we got there before 5:15 on a Saturday, so get there early. The ambiance has a lot of room for improvement. It's dark and dingy inside. They were pretty jammed, our cook prepared the meals for the 7 people at the table along with 5 to-go containers. Some of the noodles and rice were probably a bit more crunchy than they would have been if she wasn't cooking that much food at once. It was all tasty, we had the noodles and fried rice combo for our side with some grilled veggies. The wife and I shared the sesame chicken with steak combo. The boy had 5 spice chicken and his fiance had teriyaki chicken. We were all satisfied and there was enough leftovers for me to have another small meal the next day. It reheated very well. There was only one other person to get drinks, bring out the soup and salads. They were both tasty, it was unfortunate that the empty plates weren't removed until after we left, a bit of a crowded table. I'll do it again. If I want the full experience without compromise, I'll go to the other place in Beaverton.“

“Very nice teriyaki restaurant. They have some good looking menu items. This was my first time here, so I will try some others next time. The Gyoza are basically pot stickers and pretty tasty! I got the bulgogi because I love Korean food. The flavor was spot on, but the cut of meat was pretty low end, lots of gristle and fatty pieces. The chicken Gyoza was very well cooked, and overall a better choice than the bulgogi.Parking: Strip mall parking, so plan ahead if you're on a schedule!“

“It's nice to see that, while prices have risen, quality has remained. I believe they have gotten more generous w their servings, too. My favorite is the korean short ribs, tender, just enough fat and crispy burnt edges. Family loves the gyoza and teri chicken. My daughter is partial to the yakisoba. And, if you like kim chee, theirs reminds me of growing up in los angeles and enjoying homemade kim chee from neighbors. Definitely recommend.“

“The food here is amazing most times, better obviously when dining in. But the service when dining in and taking out could be a lot better. The wait times get to be too long, even when ordering only a few rolls and having only 2 other tables in the restaurant.“

“Excellent food, excellent service, and the food came out super fast! I've been to some sushi restaurants where you're waiting forever for your meal, but they took care of us right quick at Mio. I had the Veggie Tempura and Tempura Jalapeño rolls, while my wife nabbed the Volcano roll. Everything was delicious (and quite filling), and the vibe of the place was very comfortable. I'll definitely be back.“

“This is an outstanding place to grab an assortment of your favorites. They have a few outside tables for those great times, sitting out -eating great food with your favorite people. It not too expensive (lower priced than most), delicious, quick, locally owned and I don't know what else you'd be looking for... Definetely two thumbs up! ? ?Parking: It's not too much, it's going to be able to accommodate -you might have to walk 20-40' further -if you don't get one of the few that are 10' from their door. We were lucky!Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly, welcomed & should love it.“
