This is one of those places mindset and company matter more than the wow factor due to the atmosphere. I travel to many states and eat in many places, this was cozy, food was homie, coffee was great, server was kind, and the decorations of old cars are appreciated. A great spot for a quick bite on road trips.“

“The food? Straight fire. Everything came out fresh, hot, and seasoned right. You can tell they care about what they’re serving. The people there are solid too. Customer service on point, respectful, fast, and they actually pay attention. The atmosphere feels good. Chill, comfortable, somewhere you can really sit and enjoy your food without feeling rushed. “Brought my non adventurous husband to share a family meal for 3-4 people with the idea of having it for supper as well. The flavor was fantastic. We both had two full meals and one of us will have a nice sized lunch as well. I brought home the Super Dragon sushi roll to share with my son, it also was a hit.
Staff very kind and accommodating (turned off AC for my chilled husband instead of us moving to another table).

“Stopped by for a late lunch. It was a quiet Saturday afternoon with lots of available seating. Brought out 2 kinds of salsa with the tortilla chips, neither overly spicy and both were tasty. Chips arrived in a small bowl and which quickly needed to be replenished. The child menu was on paper and had some puzzles and we were brought a small package of crayons. We ordered burritos, one chicken for the kiddo, one shrimp fajita and one chile verde. We all enjoyed our selections and had some leftover to take with us. The place had a cold draft, or maybe it was the HVAC, but it was uncomfortable. Our waiter was very pleasant and knew a little of the area history when I had commented about coming to this restaurant in the early 1970s. My companion used the ladies room and advised me that floor was dangerously slick.“

“Red Lantern is one of the best local restaurants in Yelm. We have tried many of their different menu items and have never been disappointed. They really understand how to flavor food. The Red Lantern chicken is my favorite for certain. When I crave peanut sauce, I'm always thinking of that dish. Definitely worth every penny!“

“I miss Casa Mia so much. This was my favorite pizza place ever as a kid, and it still is. I haven’t been here in about 10 years since I moved, but I crave it every once in a while. I have never had a better pizza. One day I will come back to Washington just so I can taste it again.“

“This is the first time I came here. Got the General Taos Chicken with Vegetable Fried Rice, Chicken Lo Mein and an order of Crab Rangoons. The food was great, the only problem I saw was how much chicken was in the Chicken Lo Mein dish. There were maybe 8 pieces of chicken in it. But the portion sizes were good for the price and the lady who served us was friendly and the order was ready when I arrived. Overall not a bad experience here.“

“A small family owned business owned by a very nice Korean family. I would describe this as pan-Asian cuisine. The Korean food is top notch as expected since the owners are Korean! They are more than willing to show you what Korean food is all about! Very convenient fast casual spot. I would definitely come back if I’m in the area again!“

“DO NOT RECOMMEND It's what I pushed and then all the sudden it said I recommend it no I don't I went in today to go get my Beef Teriyaki with fried rice I paid extra for the rice. I ended up not getting a sauce for my fried rice so I asked for one. I showed the girl that I didn't get one and she was rude to me in front of all the customers saying that it doesn't come with 1. Trying to charge me $1 so I'm confused that not only did I just pay 12.49 plus 1.99 for some rice and you want to charge me for a sauce. She slammed down 2 sauces and said "next time I'm charging you". I took 1 to my table and said you know what I'll put it back because I ordered a side of fried rice and will give my mom mine. Shes slamming the ice around etc... Also I had bean sprouts in my food a few weeks ago when I asked for none in 3 of my meals. I didn't complain. I did have 2 complaints from the past about sweet and sour chicken being hard it was all like bone cartridges. If you complain one time the rest of the time on they treat you like crap. I'm done with going here I've had enough of thier bs.“

“Located in the entrance to Dupont. The Good_ Really good terioki and yakisobi. Other yakisobi places only give you like 3,4 or possibly 5 pieces of shrimp in your meal. I was pleasantly surprised to find i had at LEAST 10. a plus!
The negative. _Quite expensive! We got 1 dish of Terioki, 1 dish of Yakisobi plus 2 orders (4) egg rolls, NO drinks, NO other extras and our bill was nearly $50. Yes_it was delicious but I question the price tag.“

Thanks, Covid.... They have beer but can only serve it if someone over 21 is working. The pizzas are served really hot and they don't skimp. There are a few video games here and self serve soda. The crew is pretty chill. The place could use some updating it looks a little old but they do keep it clean. Definitely our favorite pizza place.“
