“Visited for first time, August 29 2024. Great atmosphere, friendly staff. Ordered the fruity French toast. 3 big thick slices of bread, with fresh fruit and homemade whipped cream The bread only had egg wash on one side, as if they poured the egg on the flattop and set the bread on it, As these were thick slices, the rest of it was just dry bread. Not what we expected. We thought it would be dipped and covered in egg. The silverware is the basic stamped out cafeteria style utensils and takes away from the overall experience of this otherwise homey ambience.“

Wait staff misty is wonderful. I completely miscommunication my dressing preference and they were more than kind about it.

“I visited last week and I think the place needs improvement with the management and with the burger that they serve. I heard good things that is why I tried but I was disappointed because they had my order wrong. I will still give them a visit once I had the chance hoping for improvement.“

“I have always loved the Cut Shop! staff and ownership have always been wonderful. a couple employees have been undesirable but have gone. I will say i was sadden and my kids were disappointed when they did away with the scavenger hunt. that was a really cool and unique activity. “I walked in here in September 1982 thinking my shattered life of 15 years was over. Hazel who ran the cafe, a gruff but loving lady made me sit down and have a sandwich and milk. For the next 5 years they raised me, an irritating punk, showing love and understanding beyond measure, mentoring me in the life of recovery and spritual principles of AA until my fledgling wings let me fly on my own to other places of recovery and respite from the storms of life. It's barely changed, has great coffee now and much more food! A meeting is available nearly every hour in such variety and different people your sure to find your place in what will always be my true home! “Rarely do you find a restaurant with no flaws. An easy contender for the best restaurant for miles and miles. Wouldn’t be surprised if they work towards a Michelin star.

Kid-friendliness: Absolutely kid friendly, reminds me of the places my mom took me as a kid.

“What a surprisingly great experience from a hotel restaurant. This is a restaurant in a Hilton Garden Inn. As far as hotel restaurants go, it was absolutely outstanding. I had the house salad and the Jambalaya. Both were very good. Service was quick, friendly, and accurate. Great portions, for reasonable prices. My server, Leeana, was a huge part of their success. She was outstanding. Thank you all for a great dinner after a long day on the road.“

The food is touch expensive for the quality. However I'll start with the AMAZING: Brussels Sprouts appetizer. Wow it was good. The Seafood Thai was REALLY good too. Muscles are top notch

The Baja fish tacos are fine...but honestly Taco Time tastes better.

The dishes that are not great are the following: Chicken pesto gnocchi felt akin to something if get in the frozen food isle...bland pesto and meh gnocchi. The quinoa bowl was just darn ugh by being one dimensional: spicy...with dry chicken. It has so much potential by being served with a lime creama, black beans, and avocado. I decided to just take it all home to fix it.

Overall we will certainly be back but will be more cautious with the dishes. They seem to do seafood very nicely 👌“

“The quality and taste of all food from the salad course, main course to dessert was outstanding. The flavor profiles of the braised short rib and truffle mashed potatoes was wonderful. The only reason for not giving 5 stars in this category was due to the small portion size. Perhaps this was due to it being a special priced menu for Seattle Restaurant Week, but when I make braised short ribs, a single short rib (boneless) would be around 4 ounces vs. the closer to 2 ounces that came to the table. The overall quality was so good though that my date and I were very satisfied and the amazing espresso crème brûlée filled the void.“

The food was great. We enjoyed happy hour menu-and ordered 2 aperols each. Though they have a great selection of wines here.

Some snacks were not clearly noted on menu what they were, but all tasted good.

“Attended an event on 6/28 catered by Barking Frog. Their set-up is clean and professional looking (you WANT their food truck in your parking lot); their staff is courteous and friendly; they offered a diverse and interesting menu; and our plates were prepared quickly. Oh, the food... top notch! I had the turkey club, my daughter had the mac & cheese... both with their crispy, delicious french fries. AMAZING!“
