“Visited for first time, August 29 2024. Great atmosphere, friendly staff. Ordered the fruity French toast. 3 big thick slices of bread, with fresh fruit and homemade whipped cream The bread only had egg wash on one side, as if they poured the egg on the flattop and set the bread on it, As these were thick slices, the rest of it was just dry bread. Not what we expected. We thought it would be dipped and covered in egg. The silverware is the basic stamped out cafeteria style utensils and takes away from the overall experience of this otherwise homey ambience.“

“What a surprisingly great experience from a hotel restaurant. This is a restaurant in a Hilton Garden Inn. As far as hotel restaurants go, it was absolutely outstanding. I had the house salad and the Jambalaya. Both were very good. Service was quick, friendly, and accurate. Great portions, for reasonable prices. My server, Leeana, was a huge part of their success. She was outstanding. Thank you all for a great dinner after a long day on the road.“

For the next 5 years they raised me, an irritating punk, showing love and understanding beyond measure, mentoring me in the life of recovery and spritual principles of AA until my fledgling wings let me fly on my own to other places of recovery and respite from the storms of life. It's barely changed, has great coffee now and much more food! “This is the third time I have eaten at Cascades and it was absolutely delicious. I ate the rib eye steak while my wife had the steak frites. My son's had the chicken strips and the club sandwich and everyone absolutely loved their food. It was a highlight of our vacation and Muhammad our server was by far the kindest and most friendly customer service we had our entire trip.“

“It was a rainy day and my BF and I had planned to have lunch together the day before. So we decided to go the Blazing Onion as I had always wanted to try it.
Being vegetarian is sometimes hard to find a place that has options for burgers and this place has a few options which is great. I ended up getting the Impossible burger and onion petals on the side and my BF got the Blazing Onion burger and fries. He also ordered us an order of mozzarella sticks. For drinks we had water and I got a Blueberry Lime Fizz and he got Raspberry Lemonade. The water had a lemon slice which was a nice touch.
I have to say that the mozzarella sticks were delicious and cheesy and the marinara sauce was pretty good too. The burgers came and it was amazing!! I ate it all in record time lol. The bun was perfectly toasted as well. I had no complaints on the burger. The onion petals were ok. When I usually see something say beer battered I never taste the beer, this you could. The only issue was they were soggy.
My BF enjoyed his food and the drinks were very good too. Service was great as well. I will go to Blazing Onion again, it was really good. But what made it stellar was the person I shared the experience with, he is amazing.“

Server did not address the fact it took forever, and then tried to serve us part of our meal after we had completely finished eating. She tried to just avoid us the entire time. I've eaten at Purple cafe for 20 years and usually the service is amazing. Either this server just doesn't understand what to do or she just didn't care. It looked like she had only two tables. I would have ordered more food and drinks, but we didn't have the time to just sit around waiting, just a disappointing experience.“

I/we haven't been there in a few years to be honest, but it is still a great local place for OUTSTANDING food and great drinks!
Our waitress, Brittany was playfully sassy and a GREAT waitress and provided EXCELLENT service too!

“This is a long overdue review. We like to go to the DeLille tasting room and then step over for dinner at this place. Their food is very tasty and their service is awesome. We went there and happened to sit at the bar. Both Lucio and Cole were great, Cole's recommendations for dinner were amazing. “This place offers a rare Latin breakfast menu item called Migas and oh man is it good. The wait staff are all friendly and your cup is never empty. The atmosphere is like a cozy small diner/family kitchen and it is relaxing and laid back. And as a rare tea drinker, I can say that while they charge the same as other places for tea, they serve super high quality English breakfast tea, which was delightful. I AM SO GLAD THEY ARE BACK in Issaquah!!“
