“Visited for first time, August 29 2024. Great atmosphere, friendly staff. Ordered the fruity French toast. 3 big thick slices of bread, with fresh fruit and homemade whipped cream The bread only had egg wash on one side, as if they poured the egg on the flattop and set the bread on it, As these were thick slices, the rest of it was just dry bread. Not what we expected. We thought it would be dipped and covered in egg. The silverware is the basic stamped out cafeteria style utensils and takes away from the overall experience of this otherwise homey ambience.“

Service is always great and the atmosphere is a solid bar experience. If Pine Lake's beer and service married Lake Samm Cafe's food and pie, you'd have a 10/10 haha.“

“I visited last week and I think the place needs improvement with the management and with the burger that they serve. I heard good things that is why I tried but I was disappointed because they had my order wrong. I will still give them a visit once I had the chance hoping for improvement.“

“We haven't been to Purple in ages. Need someplace to have a celebratory lunch for Mom's 94th birthday. Figured Purple Cafe would be perfect. Upscale cafe, not too noisy. We were seated promptly. Service pace was relaxed, giving us time to settle and make choices. Two of our party had to get back to work so hoping they weren't stressed by the pace. Food was delicious. Three of us enjoyed the cranberry/chicken salad. The light dressing is delish. Our two guys chose the lunch combo. Both enjoyed very much. Almost had a snaffu when Inwas trying to pay via the inKind app for the first time. I was confused as to where my discount was take off. While my server didn't know, another server was an expert and told me I needed to hit the Review Transaction button, not review receipt. Yay! Snaffu resolved. Nice to get reacquainted with Purple. We'll be back.“

“The on line site features SUNDAY BRUNCH. I had my heart set on Eggs ? Benedict. Oh, surprise! The server said that they discontinued brunch. apparently the web site wasn't informed!!! I went with the seafood Cobb salad, fabulous, but still craving brunch! Our server was so sweet.“

“Celiac and Gluten sensitive people, here's a gem of a restaurant! Very cozy and friendly atmosphere, staff are all very friendly and helpful. LOTS of gluten free options for all courses. As someone who is highly gluten sensitive/borderline Celiac, I have not had any negative experiences here (having had 3-course meals.) So far I have enjoyed brunch and a dining experience and every item has been delicious! Looking forward to many more visits to come!“

“I have always loved the Cut Shop! staff and ownership have always been wonderful. a couple employees have been undesirable but have gone. I will say i was sadden and my kids were disappointed when they did away with the scavenger hunt. that was a really cool and unique activity. So that was a bummer and them doing away with the mini corndogs.. bummer too“

“It had a great selection of food and specials that changed every week. My personal favoriye was the pizza with cheese and bacon. It was delicous. The servers are always great with a smile on their face when they greet you. They have a fireplce on when its cold so you feel warm and cozy. You could go there to have a drink and watch sports too! The seating is great and they have outside seating above of the soon-to-be-remoldeled-pool. I would always go here again when im in the area. I think you should go here too.“

The food is touch expensive for the quality. However I'll start with the AMAZING: Brussels Sprouts appetizer. Wow it was good. The Seafood Thai was REALLY good too. Muscles are top notch

The Baja fish tacos are fine...but honestly Taco Time tastes better.

The dishes that are not great are the following: Chicken pesto gnocchi felt akin to something if get in the frozen food isle...bland pesto and meh gnocchi. The quinoa bowl was just darn ugh by being one dimensional: spicy...with dry chicken. It has so much potential by being served with a lime creama, black beans, and avocado. I decided to just take it all home to fix it.

Overall we will certainly be back but will be more cautious with the dishes. They seem to do seafood very nicely 👌“
