“Stopped in for lunch after reading all the awesome reviews. This gem of a place far exceeded our expectations. Ordered wet burritos with shrimp and carnitas, huge and delicious. Also ordered a chicken tamale plate, chicken flautas and extra tamales to take home. The tamales are served in the husk as opposed to buried under cheese and sauce, are cooked to order and delicious. The flautas are crispy and served with guac and yummy pico, highly recommend! The owner brought us a yummy bean and chorizo dip to try with chips which I will definitely be ordering on our next visit. They serve a local mex beer, new to me, which was very good. Good churros for desert. The place is sparkling clean and the owner and staff are kind and very welcoming. If you're looking for the best mex food in the Kent/Renton area, look no further. “Really good. I got the carnitas plate. The pork was delicate, slow cooked, and not over trimmed. Our friend The pig is not a slim fellow, and Mexican food uses the whole thing. The crowd and staff are largely Mexican. Very friendly clean place. Not fancy. Very well priced for what you get compared with the usual Seattle prices. I love it and I learned Mexican food in Mexico. Legitimate carniceria. They have the homade Mexican drinks (rice, hibiscus, guava, and the red one that is kind of salty), and the condiments table. But they did not have the pickled onions and carrots. Of course it's family oriented, and of course there is Mexican soccer on the giant screens. I will come back and try their fried fish plate (whole tilapia).“

The Mulitas were my favorite. They're just on the edge of spicy, packed with meat, and accompanied by cheese and guacamole. It's a sort of quesadilla meats torta. While not the prettiest thing to eat, I'd happily have one daily. 2 will fill you up all day.

I also really enjoyed the tacos. When you see them, they seem tiny ... but I have to say, I was never left hungry. The Taco Platter is more than filling and fairly priced.

When a 5-year-old finishes a taco truck burrito, you know you're in the right spot.

The food itself is good, but the way I will describe Seattle Mexican food is, it's good enough to give you an idea of what real Mexican food is like, but it's missing that gives it the authenticity.

My mouth didn't water biting into the al pastor, nor did my anticipation for chilaquiles get filled when I ate it. Rather, it tasted good enough to remind me this is the blueprint to good Mexican food, but it's missing the heart that normally comes with it.

If you aren't from Mexico, you will enjoy the change of flavor that is offered. It, by no means is bad Mexican food. San Francisco and the Midwest are notorious for bad Mexican.“

“The food is inconsistent the first few times was good but recently the food wasn't good the cashier didn't follow my instructions despite tipping them properly and telling him several times. They need to listen to their customers request and also need better practices when handling food. The customer service was also poor compared to last time.
Went back and the food was excellent and the customer service has improved.“
