“I base my ratings off of expectations. As long as it's get what I expect I give 5 stars. I only give less than 5 stars if the venue fell short of my expectations in some way. Here, it's Jack in the Box, plain and simple. I got exactly what I expected. Only complaint is that I paid more than I expected, but I've come to expect that these days. Lol.“
“This place is really good, it's a local mom and pops Bodega. They have really good food and the people are really cool here. It's nice to pop in and pop out if you just need some things quick. I'm definitely all about supporting the locals and this place is definitely one of them.“
“Our family favorite.Good foods and quick service. We had multis, burrito, and a cup of horchata for about a little over $30.There are 2 big tables with a roof and heaters. We visit this place before a little walk at Lincoln Park for our appetite.“
“Accidently stopped by after close. They paid no mind to the hour. We had no idea they closed at 7 until I came to write this review. We are so thrilled they decided to serve us. The meat was seasoned to perfection. Their salsas were some of the best I've ever had. The pastor is the real winner! Delicious and they top the taco with a slice of pineapple. We will be back.“
“This spot was incredible! At first sight, it's a small food truck by a gas station. Then you realize that they've made a very cute Mexican decorated indoor seating area with heaters for you.By the way, all their 'free' salsa's are delicious toppings that vary on spice level. The red one is the hottest ;) Make sure to go on a Tuesday for Taco Tuesdays! One more thing, the Horchata drink is very nicely done. A Cinnamon creamy drink for those who have never tried; I recommend it but just know its a bit sweet.Lastly, I had asked for a menudo (Mexican red soup) that I added a few limes slices too with a pinch of salt... I was sent to the heavens!I recommend 100%“
“RING THE ALARM!!!!!! and y'all know when I say that I mean it! This place has food that is packed with allllll the deliciousness and flavor you can imagine! I was transported somewhere else! I ordered an asada burrito bowl and my mouth came alive!!!! Please go try this cute little spot out! Well worth it!“
“I just got back last week from Mexico, and this place makes better tacos than many of the tacos I had on my trip. Definitely some of the best tacos in Seattle. The balance of flavors (spice, sour, sweet, char, etc.) is perfect here. The sauces are incredible, too. They have lots of veggie options for vegetarians (and they're fantastically grilled vegetables), are quick to make your dishes, and they're super nice and friendly.“
“This a much needed and great addition to that little shopping mall. They've come a long way in a short time. My family orders from here likely once a month if not more now. The street tacos are wonderful, the mulita's are so so tasty and the fajitas (shrimp) are outstanding. The staff/family that run it are very professional and nice. Kudos to them. No you, just quick your reading and get in here! ;-) cheers“
“Their business is out of a trailer they have parked in the Reber Ranch parking lot, and the smells that come out of their kitchen (divine!) is what drew me to check them out! The food is excellent - particularly the street tacos. The hostess is very warm and friendly, the chef looks like he takes his craft seriously - which results in great food! A definite "must try", and as for me, I will definitely return.“
“Where do I start,Frybread is like no other. My husband had a rez burger omg bombI had the stuffed Frybread ?.I'm picky about my Frybread and the Frybread here is up there with the best of the best that I've had.Highly recommend it“
“While everybody raves about the Adobada, don't forget the try the plain quesadilla which is overflowing with a delicious Baby Jack cheese that is made in classical Oaxaca style. Tacos el Gordo is a Tijuana classic that has spread like wildfire across the southwest. Although the prices have gotten higher than the border wall the quality of the food keeps people lined up like you're coming back from Mexico.“
“Holy moly this place is absolutely delicious! I had to fish tacos as recommended by the other reviews and they were really awesome, along with the taco al Pastor. My husband had the burrito and it was very delicious, the tortillas super fluffy. We look forward to eating at this place again when we are rolling through Federal Way. It’s places like this that keep us interested in discovering all the hidden gems around this area. They also have Mexican sodas and other delicious looking things on the menu..“
“This place is great. The food is really impressive, it’s basically standard pub fare but done well with some nice vegan additions. The taps are clean and the beer tastes like it. And they have music every night across a broad spectrum of genres. The counter of the main bar is worth having a drink at just so you can look at all the cool stuff shellacked in there. Add in that the owner apparently is working on restoring Beth’s Cafe to its former glory you have to love this place and ownership.“
“This place was delicious!! The lady took care of my wife and I very well! She was very very sweet! Now the food… I’m a very very picky eater but this, this food was the best food I’ve had in a LONG time! I highly recommend if you’ve never tried this place to come and eat here at least once!“
“Dined here to cater to the vegan needs of some guests. Absolutely amazing food and tasty cocktails. The lentil nachos will blow you away. Easily the best nachos we've ever had, vegan or non-vegan, and a serving large enough for two to share. You won't be disappointed!Vegetarian options: Full vegan menu and everything we tried was delicious.“
“?"A hidden gem".?Worth every penny!?Carnitas tortas are Amazing?.Churros are super sweet.? Whip topping helps smooth the sweetness.I will Definitly be back for more and I will try something different on the menu.(I am a non smoker.Authentic flavors were on point)⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“
“Got Damm it Corey u the man I had a ball last night them drinks was a1 great experience customer service on point I came all the way from Richmond va I’m coming back even the owner was cool great vibes n that lady was cooking had my fries and burger just right Lordy I had a ball hola ma see yall 5 star thank “
“The food was good and the people were very nice. If I'm in the area I would definitely consider eating there again. Had the whole family there and ordered 6 different dishes. The only issue with the food was the pork carnitas was a little dry, but great flavor.“
“Carnitas and goat tacos were quite tasty, moist and melted in your mouth.Hot sauce was maybe a 4/10 (not really spicy at all), but flavor is good for both the red “hot” and green mild. Guacamole also very very mild. Good, but lacking spice. It was the first hot sunny day and so many people were there, but the wait was only about 15 minutes and they have an excellent texture system that allows you to take a walk while waiting.Servers and bathroom state were overwhelmed a bit by quantity of visitors. Will return to see if they get that figured out.“
“I go to both locations but this location the most often since its close to my house. Always a sweet staff, good food, and small wait time between ordering and eating. Favorite place for a quick burrito after work for my boyfriend and I.Kid-friendliness: Simple meals and delicious soda options.Parking: Food truck in mostly empty parking lot. It essentially has its own parking area.“
“Renewed my faith in Seattle Mexican food.Let's face it, Mexican food in Seattle varies greatly depending on the neighborhood. In mine, it sucks. Here, though, the flavors are fantastic, the ingredients fresh, the service wonderful. Phew!“
“I’ve been going here for like two - three times per week for a few months now. It’s close to my office, very convenient. The food is amazing! Typically I get asada street tacos. Recently I started trying other items. And the Torta slaps! Tacos are just as good but friendlier on the wallet if I go there like 5 times a week.Overall I’m very satisfied. Noting extra. Simple ingredients that have proven themselves over the decades.“
“I got the birria tacos, sauce was great, fresh onions, cilantro and some lime wedges. Te beef itself wouldn't blow your mind but the taco as a whole was delicious.I walked here during my lunch break and I'd definitely like to visit again and try some other things in the future. The lady that handed me my food was friendly and gave me recommendations on which hot sauce to go for. (I tried the hot, it was good but curious how the mild is)“
“It was my first time going here based off a recommendation - and to make a larger order - and we were not disappointed. We ordered lunch for our staff team of 25. From the beginning, the gentleman helping me on the phone was very nice and tried every avenue to communicate to ensure my questions were being answered - and I had a lot.I ended up going inside to talk with them in person and see what their catering options were for our group. The same gentleman from the phone/texts walked me through the options, and even made calls to someone else to see if they could provide other options for us. They were very kind, patient, and accommodating. We order nearly 75 birria tacos, rice, and consome. Everything was fresh, incredibly delicious, and very hearty. (We were all surprised how big and full the tacos were.)Very happy with the customer service and overall food. We will be back for future large orders, and I will personally be back for more of those birria tacos! Incredible.“
“Saw this place online and had good reviews! Was given chips and salsa Before I even got my menu which I liked. Homemade vibe to this whole place. I got the tacos dorado's which were just perfect! And my gf got the chilaquiles with carne asada. Overall the Food was amazing and would recommend to anyone. Ps margaritas were not on the menu but it's ok to ask!“
“This is our first time visiting 5 Hermanos. The service was excellent! The staff is very friendly and courteous. We might have come on the chef's off day because the food was good but seemed to be missing something. We'll definitely give them another shot some time in the future.March 2024It's been a year or two since I've visited 5 Hermanos. I was very pleasantly surprised today! The food was great! I had tacos al carbón which were very flavorful. The beans were awesome! My wife who avoids them at all costs actually liked them. The prices did increase but by a reasonable amount and the portions didn't shrink! We're going to definitely come back soon.“
“Hands down the best burrito and taco place around in the SODO/ Georgetown area, and probably the better part of the greater Seattle metro area. Numerous meat options in a variety of service choices. Have yet to be disappointed. And if you need a horchata fix, this is your place. Giant glass full of great horchata at a good price.“
“First time here. Super bummed that our former local go-to Los Tinos has closed so we figured we'd give Taqueria La Original 2 a try. I perused the menu and it looks good. Not really a fan of waiting outside of taco trucks so I called in the order and was given a timeframe. 15 minutes. Showed up 15 minutes later. No other customers. I wait by the window for several minutes before even being acknowledged. Another customer comes to pick up their order. Finally get some attention and tell the worker that I called in an order. She confirms what I had ordered over the phone. I wait around for *another* 10-15 minutes and finally get the food. No explanation - no apology. I gave it 4 stars because the food itself was great but the service or lack thereof was barely 2 stars being honest. If they were totally slammed - I get it. This was not the case. Will probably give it one more try because it was delicious but if the service is as lackluster as today that'll be it for me.“
“The food tastes delicious, but be prepared to eat any burrito without sour cream or avocado over a plate: they do not hang together enough for car eating. I got vegetarian so I didn't have any problems but the partner and kid both created showers of rice and beans all over the car.“
“Really tasty! Ingredients are super high quality and I love the sauces. It has a limited menu that's different from the taco trucks in the area.Very easy to get a filling meal for cheap if you mix and match. A mulita and a quesidilla will be about $10 and if you add a taco that's still under $15 and you get to try all their meats. They have 2 different vegetarian fillings as well.Cute funky vibe and the food always comes out fast.“
“El oasis has the best Mexican food I’ve had in Seattle. The barbacoa tacos and Birria tacos are insanely good. The burrito is excellent. The tortas are bomb. The Jamaica drink is so good tooI have no reason to eat at any other Mexican restaurant or taco truck in Seattle if it’s not el oasis. You’re missing out if you haven’t experienced the food here!!“
“Ordered a few sandwiches for my sisters and tacos for myself, we couldn't get enough, they loved the sandwich with pineapple and cheese, while I had the shrimp and chicken tacos both were amazing.I loved the sauce on the chicken sandwich and my sisters straight devoured the massive onions and asada in their sandwiches. Service is quick, just order and pay at the counter, the dining area is small probably fits 20 ppl but it's very relaxed.Come thru, they're absolutely wonderful!“
“Food truck with solid tacos with a variety of proteins. Its was my first time trying pupusas and they were pretty good. Basically a stuffed pancake. I preferred the loroco version more but they were both extremely greasy. They could also benefit from more salsa options. The owner is nice and took care to understand my order correct. Overall good option if in the area but nothing to rave about.“
“They didn't get my online order so I had to place my order in the restaurant, the Horchata is one of the best I've ever had. Only one other place is this good, I got a vegetarian burrito and it was so good! I'm pretty sure it's family owned. They were very nice and pretty quick. I'm upset I've been in Burien so long and didn't know this place was here! Definitely my new favorite place!“
“The spicy chicken sandwich and baklava here is amazing. The meat being halal makes me love this place even more!!! Staff is kind and friendly and location is nice. I do wish the meat was a little thinner so the sandwich is less messy but it's tasty regardless.“
“This place is a pretty good taco spot, it has 99 cent tacos on Tuesdays for certain meats. I got 5 chicken and a tamarindo drink and it was delicious. The creamy chipotle orange sauce is good but is very spicy to be cautious putting it on your food.“
“We have been here several times. The food is great. The atmosphere is ok, but it's small, so you can't expect too much. I stopped on my way home from work and brought the food home. Shared a regular burrito and a 5 taco plate. Parking can be tricky depending on the day and time of day. Street parking.“
“It's official, Chilolos is my new favorite lunch spot in Georgetown. I was pointed to the Carnitas burrito by other reviewers, and I'll probably branch out at some point, but it might be a while because this is one damn good burrito. Its beauty begins with the strip of griddled crispy cheese that lines the folded side of the tortilla - a true stroke of genius. It continues with everything inside: the delicious and tender carnitas, the well cooked potatoes, fresh lettuce, beans, sour cream and cilantro, all in perfect proportion, and all distributed evenly throughout the burrito. Top it off with their absolute world class salsa, and you've got a blue ribbon lunch right there. $13, or $15 with chips and a soda, seems perfectly fair to me. Chilolos, never change - I love you, and I will be back. Like probably on a weekly basis.See ya soon.“
“Best taqueria I've had since moving from California! UPDATE......THE NEW LADY I had today was not the typical lady that's there during the evenings and nights. She was really rude and had no interest to communicate like the other lady whom is always there. Please have good customer service because it goes a long way!! I'll only be ordering when the regular lady is there. She's so nice!!!!“
“Leaving this review just to inform potentially interested customers--will delete it promptly if the owners inform me they are still in operation.I have lived right down the street from this truck for a few months and have never seen them open. If they are still in operation, they appear to have downgraded from the big new truck pictured in more recent reviews to the small red truck I always pass by that is perpetually closed.“
“Wow! Just came here for the first time despite moving to neighborhood a year ago. The question I'm left asking myself is WHY have I not been here before? I had two fresh juices, one blend with beets, one with orange and carrots. So so good The salsa bar was impeccably done up and the two I tried were so yummy I'll be back soon“
“Will forever be a stop for me when I'm flying into SeaTac. The burritos and quesadillas were so delicious and cooked to perfection despite a small wait and to our surprise there was actually a space to sit down and eat when we got to the truck, so it's perfect for those on the go or looking to relax a bit. The menu has so much more that we want to try eventually. Great prices and great service.“
