They truly went above and beyond to help keep the element of surprise, made things so easy for us, and had the cozy back area all set up for us to host. Colby was super knowledgeable about whiskey and took amazing care of us for the night. Thanks so much for helping us throw a special birthday celebration, we had a great time!“

“Ducked in for some happy hour fish n chips which were surprisingly delish. Flaky fish, crispy fries, nice portions - the trifecta. Great service too, and a laid back vibe (divey but not grimy); nice enough for a dimly lit pub. Beers were a bit flat though, which kinda disappointed me.“

“It has been a while since I ate here. Menu is not as extensive as before, but they still have the core items. Pub fare, especially burgers and sandwiches. There's a full service bar, but the focus are the drafts. It's a beautiful bar. Lots of wood throughout the place. Service is good. Attentive but they don't hover. I'm not sure that this is a good bar for sports. Their two TVs were turned to Sponge Bob SquarePants and some other non-sports show. It was actually kinda cool. Folks were watching them.“

“The Philly Cheese steak sandwich was hands down the best in the State of Washington! Tre's Philly Cheese steak sandwich I will travel for over and over again! Well flavored, put together perfectly and the love was in the meat, in the sandwich it self! I enjoyed talking to the staff, they are very good people, that make you feel welcomed! We live down south and took the kids on an excursion to the city via the train. This was in December 2024. Travis was the manager and I think the only person working. I can't remember what we had. But we enjoyed it. 4 kids and 2 adults and I had written myself a note to write a good review. I do remember one of our kids toppled a FULL glass of water, needless to say we probably weren't the easiest table. But by goly he didnt make us feel that way. Loved everything about this place and would return in a heartbeat if we were near by. Sorry its 8 months later, thanks Travis!“

“Shadowland has become one of my fave west Seattle spots! The food is always great, big selection of craft cocktails and the staff are pros. I honestly think this is the best French dip I’ve ever had, that’s crazy to say but I think I mean it. Excited to bring more people here.“

“We stopped by this pub after doing the art walk and ended up celebrating our friend’s birthday here. It was a good place to stumble upon. Service was fast, beer was good, and food was delicious! Plus it’s close to the light rail so it was an easy place for us to get to!“

“My boyfriend and I came over to watch the Chelsea v Brentford game. It was our first time here, and I’m already excited to come back to watch another game here. We had chicken nachos with a side of pineapple habanero sauce - super good! It was a fantastic portion, there were plenty of delicious toppings (the tomatoes and green peppers tasted so fresh), and the pineapple habanero sauce had the perfect heat. The staff was also celebrating (and crying) with us during the game - loved the sound effects haha.

Also for my fellow girls, the girls’ bathroom is so cute with a disco ball, glitter walls, and toiletries.“

“5 stars simply isn't enough when rating the Fish. Since moving to Seattle from the Southeast, they've become our friends and family away from home. The food is great, and it's one of the only nearby places with draught Guinness! We've watched big games, celebrated birthdays, and many other memorable times at Thirsty Fish. If you choose to stop in, chances are you'll see me there!“

“I have Celiac Disease and it means so much to me to be able to eat somewhere with a dedicated gluten free kitchen. The food was excellent and the staff were extremely friendly. The owner came and talked to us for a bit and the atmosphere in general was amazing. You can tell how much the owner and staff care about what they’re doing and about your experience. Thank you for being a safe and delicious place for me to eat! We will be coming back!“

“Nice vibe, sucks that the one and only TV was broken on the night of the 1st football game of the season but we watched it on a phone. There was no AC seemingly so it was super hot and when you’re getting tipsy the warmth is that much worse. The cider is a mix of yummy and mid. We tried several cider flights, about 12 flavors and I only really enjoyed maybe 3? Anyways the food was great, my partner and I tried the circus burger, basket fries and the popcorn chicken. WARNING: it’s not really popcorn chicken. I was hella hungry thinking it was actually gonna be popcorn sized and so I ordered the 20 piece, BIG MISTAKE, if you’re one person, order the 8 piece. It’s not popcorn sized or even chicken nugget sized. It’s like even larger than if you ordered boneless wings at wing stop. Not bad, just ordered too much food and I unfortunately get the OPPOSITE of the drunchies! Attached photo for reference. It’s delicious though and so is the sauce.“

“Pretty cool, they have 2 different karaoke spots and a dance floor. Place isn't that big but all 3 spots didn't clash or suffer from sound bleed. Drinks were a little pricey but staff was chill, made sure no one was missed when ordering drinks.“
