Still the best French baked goods in Seattle! Absolutely perfected the craft, even after 10 years!!!
Hosted three days of meetings this week in downtown Seattle. Belle Epicurean catered breakfast and lunch each day and it was fantastic. Would certainly recommend them.

Based on customer reviews, Belle Epicurean is a cozy little place in Madrona that acts as a nice hole in the wall cafe. The atmosphere is very nice and makes you want to go in. The pastries are good, and customers especially liked the selection of confectionary items. One reviewer had an awesome chocolate, pistachio croissant that was out of this world. The coffee is ok, nothing exceptional, but it is a decent place to get a coffee or espresso. However, the breakfast sandwiches cost $14 and are not freshly made, which is considered ridiculous. The matcha latte is a major issue; one reviewer described it as the worst matcha ever, and another said to skip it as it was thick green sludge with big grains. Customer service is inconsistent. While some found great customer service and a happy place, others experienced no greeting and attitude when asking for a drink to be remade. On a slow day, the floor was littered with leaves, half the tables were dirty, and the outdoor patio was in disarray. Their food safety rating is down to merely 'good'.
