The lady who took my order was very welcoming and kind, and provided excellent customer service during a very busy time! (She took the time to apologize to me when someone skipped the line, and that made me feel important as a customer.) “Went here with my family. We had reservations so we were able to go in right away (there was a lot of people waiting). The drinks were really good and the food was awesome! Our waitress was very nice and suggested to split burger before we even asked (our family likes to share). We even made a reservation in two weeks to take other friends there! Definitely recommend!“

“Dang. I just ate at Giddy Up and I did not expect the food to be that good. I met some coworkers there for a bite and drink and thought the food would be run-of-the-mill burgers and beer. “So I had some time to kill to let traffic die down so I stopped at Kidd Valley.

The lady there was really nice and she made the strawberry (that actually has chunks of strawberries in it) shake before the receipt had even printed.

I ordered garlic fries, and they aren't messing around. I figured they would just sprinkle some garlic powder/salt on the fries, but they dumped at least an ounce of minced garlic on the fries. I'm definitely not going to have to worry about vampires, or mosquitoes, for a day or two.

All of this wouldn't matter if the burger wasn't good, and it wasn't. It was great!

“I have visited about three times now, and the staff are always really friendly, and I enjoy the funk atmosphere and music. The sandwiches are great and I love that they make the seitan themselves in house, or use soy curls rather than ultra-processed alternatives. I chose the rueben sandwich which was delicious! And they also have a wide range of alcoholic and non alcoholic cocktails, my friend and I both chose the non-alcoholic mimosa and it was so good. I have rated a 4 as the prices are a bit too high, my husband ordered 3 small street tacos and they cost 17dollars.“

“If you’re willing to walk, explore and find breweries in Seattle then this is worth a visit. Not easy to find but then again that’s good as it’s off the beaten track and not touristy. Imperial stout is strong and warming - but small measures as it’s 12.9%! My new favourite summer beer is Acid wave - kiwi, lime and jasmine tea , yep and you can taste all of these . They’ve not put ingredients that you can’t taste or smell like some breweries do! ! They’ve made a sour beer that you can drink and enjoy as opposed to drink and be in pain. They also do food, so after a walk looking for the place, there is sustenance to be had! . Friendly as well.“

“You come in and order on a tablet for dine in or to go. There's 2 high tops, 2 regular tables, and a counter with a few chairs. For 2 burgers and 1 order of shoestring fries it was about $25. The classic burger was a solid drive thru style burger with shredded lettuce and american cheese. The chicken sandwich tasted like an elevated mcchicken (that wasn't a bad thing to us). It was the perfect amount for 2 people, although you could probably get away with 1 order of fries per person since they are on the smaller side. Definitely will be back.“

“What a gem! As you enter this place, the decor is inviting and modern. The owners are very friendly. The fusion Korean food doesn't compromise the genuine taste of Korean food and this coming from a very picky person when it comes to korean food. The portion is huge. The bulgogi burrito is large enough for 2 people to share. We didn't order the burgers but I heard that the owners specialize in burgers. Next time I'm definitely going to try the burgers!“

“Absolutely delicious! We shared brussel sprouts as an appetizer ( I could have eaten them as an entree ) so crispy and wonderful! Also had their amazing beet salad which I added chicken to and I couldn't finish it all. Husband had a burger and he really enjoyed it! Our server was upbeat and friendly ... the atmosphere was chill and the happy hour prices were great too! I had a Bee's Knee's for a sweet price. We live an hour away but will definitely make the drive back to Oak!“

“Simply Smashed - top notch single patty burger for late night escapades. This is a great smash burger, good size for only $6.50. Only burger I’ve ever had that came with enough pickles. Ordered at the walk up window and it was ready pretty quickly.“

“Been reading about this burger for months now, and I finally willed myself to go down there to check it out. I had the double tavern and the chili fries. I’ll start with the fries, crispy and hand cut. The chili and was great and the sour cream and scallions were a nice touch. Huge portions though so they’re great for sharing. Now the burger, I had moderate expectations based off reviews and pictures. I always leave establishments disappointed when I have higher expectations so I came in with an open mind. I decided to dine in because all food tastes better when it’s Hot and fresh, and it was just that. The meat was cooked perfectly, the cheese melted all the way through, and the sauce was nice and light. The onions gave it a nice kick as well. It was very good. Beware, although it is a double, it is kind of small, so you can definitely kill a couple of them before you start feeling full. It’s really good overall, and I’ll definitely put it in my top burgers in Seattle (probably right next to The Red Mill.) These burgers were also a nice change of pace to fast food burgers, more expensive and the fries are extra but really worth it if you want just a nice, juicy, messy burger. I’ll be back to try the rest of the menu items.“
