“Had food from here around a year ago and loved it so I took my partner here recently. The tacos were excellent and my partner although a meat eater was very impressed but the rice and beans were lacking seasoning and were very bland compared to my last visit maybe they had a new person who just forgot the salt or spices? Still highly recommend tho some of the best plant based tacos I’ve ever had.“

“Malena's is my favorite taco in Seattle. The burritos are HUGE and the tacos (hard shell) are delicious. Guacamole is legit and i could eat their salsas with everything. Cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. Rolled tacos as good as Olvera street in LA. Burritos put chain stores to shame. Such good food and freshly prepared to order.“

“Food is super tasty, fresh , fast and satisfying. However, I have had issues with add ons. If I pay for an add on I expect to get enough. I've added avocado and litteraly got one slice. I've added sour cream and got less than teaspoon in a huge burrito. Other than that, I love this truck and will keep coming back because it is delicious and convenient! Just won't pay for add ons anymore.“

“This place has a special place in my heart. I've enjoyed the restaurant a few times on my own but me and my friend went in on the dia de los muertos parade event and it just felt *right*. Chips and queso is so good. The tacos are always good. Gotta say, the potato taco is my favorite. They also serve two soups and who doesn't love a warm cup of soup? “I had the veggie green wet burrito recently. The food was tasty and the service friendly. I wish the veggie burrito had fajita veggies or avocado or something apart from rice, beans and cheese. The cost was the same and the meat was just excluded. The habenero salsa that I tried with the burrito and the green sauce on the burrito were both delicious.“

From the family cooking to the food, everything is perfect.

I had the taco plate with Carnitas. Served with Mexican Rice and Pinto Beans this plate was enough for two people (or one hungry person). The Chips and Salsa are handmade and have a lime and salt flavor. The salsa is delicious and a tad spicy. My wife had the Pollo Quesadilla and it was super flavorful as well. The Passionfruit Agua Fresca was so good and brought the meal together nicely.

Go grab yourself a great meal at Sophie's Tacos you won't regret it!

“I ordered 2 tamales, one red one green, a mesquite, and chicken nachos. By far my favorite nachos, the chips are homemade and were fresh. The chicken had good flavor and seasonings. The tamales taste like the kind my Mom and Tias used to make and had good flavor. The mesquite was prepared very well, a good sized portion and again tasted authentic. I would recommend and can't wait to eat there again.“

I ordered brisket with mac & cheese and potato salad and my friend ordered the bacon & blues burger with a brisket add on and talk about mouth watering! We also ordered the fried pickle jar and highly recommend that appetizer! We saved our leftovers for the next day and it went just as hard! Amazing hospitality from this establishment and the vibe was so country it felt like we were back home in Texas! “I've been going to Taqueria El Asadero for over 12 years. During that time, I've tried several other taco trucks, and recently, there's been a few opening up on Rainier Avenue, which I did try. While these have good food, they don't come close to El Asadero's delicious food. They don't even compare. I've tried many of their dishes over the years which all have been so good with great quality. The birria burrito, though, is my all time favorite. The only criticism I had in the past was the amount of fat in the birria (which never stopped me from ordering it). Though, in the last year or two, I've noticed that has changed. I'm rarely picking fat out of the meat. So, if you are looking for a Taco truck with the most delicious food and outstanding customer service, I highly recommend you go to El Asadero. You won't regret it.“

“After a couple visits, my rating still holds, under appreciated Indian food!!! Super tasty snacks tiffin and lunches. Samosa chaat, bhel puri, vada, idli, Bombay sandwich….maybe I should just write most of the menu here (although never had their indo-Chinese)…all very very good. Not many places in SLU you can just pop in for a quick affordable meal. Parking is easy on that side of Fairview too.“
