“A cute little Mexican place with huge portions of good food, friendly service and a very local vibe. Try the Queso Street Corn nachos. Really good and very different. Portion was huge (enough for two people for a full meal!)”

“Xavier and his staff are amazing! Thank you Xavier for delivering my dinner to me tonight due to an injury. Don't know of any other businesses that would go that extra mile for a community member. 🥰”

“Tacos Pepe is an amazing food spot in our little town! She sometimes she makes these fire pineapple tamales that are to die for and she definitely has the best horchata. I always get treated great and the woman who i only see when i’m there is the sweetest, i love her and her food. 💗”

“Really beautiful restaurant in the Skamania Lodge. Gorgeous views. Had a huckleberry lemon drop and it was delicious. We ordered the teriyaki wings, meat pizza, and kids got chicken strips. The wings were very good, cooked well, and good teriyaki flavor. The pizza was just okay. I didn’t enjoy the flavor of the sauce and it was pretty soggy. Wouldn’t order again. Kids enjoyed their meals. Would try something else going back.”

“I’ve driven by this spot numerous times and have almost always seen a line. My husband and I stopped by and got some cheeseburgers, chicken burgers, fries and a shake. The customer service was great and they had our food ready surprisingly quick. (We went through the drive through and they had us park). The food was good but not amazing in our opinion. They had a lot of fun and large ice cream options which might be more of the draw for this cute little local spot. Overall I’d recommend you check them out and enjoy a nice local meal.”

“I have been seeing their lunch specials on Facebook for quite some time. Today when I went to get the mail, I decided I’d sneak across the river and pick up lunch for everyone. Today’s special is Tina’s favorite sandwich. Tony and I are having the full Beacon Burger with onion rings.”

“Came here for dinner with my friend, seated right away in a booth by the window overlooking the columbia river and stern wheeler. We ordered our food to dine in but also ordered a couple items to go as well. Food was good, didn't have longer than typical wait times on order to table, and they had a couple of sports games on various TV's placed throughout the restaurant.”

“A cute coffee place. I was greeted by a pleasant white woman. She got me a free pup cup for my doggo. Coffee was decent. If you ignore the Christian writings on the wall, it’s a good coffee stop. I did not eat food here so cannot comment on wait times others have experienced.”

“It's a great little hole in the wall tavern. It's been there for a long time. Parents owned it then passed it down to son. The staff is super friendly and the food is really good. It's not 5 star dining It's a typical redneck bar but has pool tables and music. Nice place to let loose.”

“I love biscuits and gravy, and the biscuits and gravy here is legitimately some of THE BEST I have EVER had. The biscuits are fluffy and have a delightful touch of sweetness. The gravy features house made sausage. The pairing is fantastic. I got it with a couple over medium eggs on top (slightly overdone, but forgivable).
Ended up paying more than I anticipated, but that probably has more to do with me being cheap, and less to do with the value of the food/service.
Cozy atmosphere and delicious coffee round out the experience. Perfect breakfast after a brisk night camping in the nearby national forest!”

“Since we wanted a smaller ceremony/reception with 46 total attendees, we rented the 3rd floor dining room with adjoining bar and outdoor patio. We worked with Travis and Kelli on the details, mostly by email, and they were both very helpful and accommodating. Below is a list of various points that might help other couples choose this location:
1.) The venue is lovely and views are gorgeous!
2.) Price for a November wedding was really good, so much so that there was room in the budget to host the beer, cider and wine bar.
3.) We were able to bring all of our decorations the night before, but actual decorating needed to take place the day of starting 2 hours before the start of the event.
4.) Staff the day of was helpful, and flexible. Since our ceremony was in November and we wanted our ceremony to take place in the outdoor patio, there was a contingency plan for any possible rain. Turns out we didn't need it, but staff was ready to set up for it.
5.) The third floor has its own private bathroom.
6.) If you have guests with mobility issues, there is an elevator.
7.) Let's face it, we are dog people up here in the PNW! My brother was able to bring my furr-niece to the ceremony (couldn't leave at home as they were from out of state) and she didn't even need to stay on the patio.
8.) The venue provides rectangular tables only, no round tables. Our set up included the outdoor ceremony space, indoor tables, chairs, tablecloths, napkins, glassware and silverware.
9.) THE FOOD WAS GREAT!!!! Guests were commenting on that single fact for days afterwards. We did have a food tasting in March (before the start of wedding season), so we already knew it would be good.
10.) While views from the venue are lovely, I highly recommend also taking a detour and take your first-look pics on Thunder Island, which is almost directly across the street from the venue. It's got fantastic views of the Bridge of the Gods, the Washington side of the Gorge, and the rest of the gorge.”
