“Good service and large booths and many tables. Food was 3 to 4 stars - about what you’d expect at a hotel breakfast/lunch cafe. The best plate we had was the Eggs Benedict. Good hollandaise, perfectly cooked eggs, light and delicious ham and tasty hash browns. The Chicken Fried Steak was “pretty good” but not great. We prefer it made from ground or pounded beef and this was a breaded sirloin. Large, but a touch firm and just not as delicious as what we usually get in Portland diners. The eggs and hash browns were cooked perfectly and it was probably enough food for two folks to share.

Our son got the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were lovely: fluffy and large. Definitely homemade. The gravy was more buttery than creamy and hardly any sausage in it. I’m kinda on the fence about recommending it and my son said he wished he got pancakes instead.

Prices weren’t too bad. I would eat here again if I come back to the great Clearwater Resort.

Vegetarian options: There were several vegetarian options especially if you like omelettes, salads or pancakes.

When I enter the store, or when other customers arrive, there is no greeting or acknowledgment from the staff. The atmosphere often feels a bit uncomfortable, as employees seem to stand around without engaging with customers. Additionally, the order board is consistently turned off, making it difficult for customers to determine if their orders are ready or in progress. I would suggest focusing on improving customer service, including better communication from both employees and management.”
