“One of the few truly tasty places in Seattle. The smell first caught my attention, and the food did not disappoint when I went in. It is a spicy flavor explosion. With this right next to my light rail stop, I worry I will soon be broke and fat.“

“This is the most lovely place! We’ve been coming here for 5 years and each time the service gets better and the food has been the best. The people are so nice, makes sure we’re happy with our food and always the biggest smiles on their faces. This will always be our favorite ?
Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs here, banquette seating so the edge of tables are accessible.“

“Vegetarian and Indian is some of my favorite food, Angar Kitchen didn't disappoint. Food was delicious, we both were stuffed. The atmosphere and decor are really on point here though, it's very modern and beautiful. Definitely thoughtfully designed with even the dishes the food is served in being chic and fit the overall aesthetic. Try it out!“

“I first heard about Kanishka's Des Moines location through a friend who saw somebody raving about it in a Seattle foodies group here on FB. My friend and I went to check it out and, well, it's my new favorite restaurant. I've been here 3 times and Door Dashed it once in the past month. The food every time has been absolutely fantastic, and the portion size are quite generous. The appetizers are almost entree-sized; the first time I went there with a friend, we filled up on appetizers and had to get our entrees to go. Dish recommendations: Chicken 65 and Fish Pakoras for appetizers; Mixed Grill, Lamb Vindaloo, and Paneer Korma entrees. Also, listen to your host as it seems like they're always trying out new dishes that haven't made it onto the menu yet.“

“Love this desi burger place. As a vegetarian, I'm pretty happy with their Bombay veggie burger and masala fries. The quantity and taste are both value for money. If you dine in, they even offer a chutney - ketchup combo with the fries that makes you reminisce the time when burgers were just becoming a thing in India during the 90s and local joints would often offer chutney as a side.“

“Fantastic Chole Bhature and aloo parantha. I was just staying overnight as I missed my flight in Seattle due to Delta airlines ( worst airline in the world) but it was a pleasure to order and eat very authentic Indian meal from Junoon. Thanks guys. Heads-up !!! Highly recommend if you are really looking forward to proper Indian cuisine.

“Fantastic bang for your buck, Tikka Masala in Bellevue is worth going out of your way for. They have some fantastic variety in their menu, and do chicken curries especially well. But perhaps the crown jewel of their menu is the seafood biriyani. The shrimp is amazingly flavourful and the fish practically melts in your mouth. The portions are incredibly generous for the price. I always have leftovers after every visit. There are very few Indian restaurants in Western WA that top this one.“

“I saw an IG ad w/a 25% off code + split a tripod w/my partner for a nice light lunch. I almost always opt for maximum spice, but I settled on 4 stars so the heat wouldn’t overwhelm the flavors. I regretted not going for 5 bc it wasn't very hot + I added a side of chutney, so they all ended up kinda tasting the same anyway. All good + fresh tho. Beware the tomato gravy they put on the rice pod contains dairy.“

“For one reason, the Bombay Seafood Curry. You guys, it was out of this world good. The Samosas were just ok. The gentleman was great, the lady barely acknowledged my presence. That was pretty off putting. But I'll definitely return for this dish. Yum“

“I have lived in Seattle for about five years and have been extremely disappointed by the vegan friendly Indian options. They have been flavorless and lacked spice. This place made up for it! They have loads of clearly marked vegan options. They were flavorful and actually came with rice rather than ordering it separately (an odd rarity in this city). I ordered delivery, so I can't speak to the atmosphere etc. but the food was fantastic and was served and delivered very quickly.

“The food is made with passion and its a novel way to enjoy paratha's. Follow the directions and put in the teeny tiny bit of effort to cook the paratha's just before eating. You will never go back to eating the soggy, pre-cooked paratha's...“

“Cafe Bollywood offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a meal or a relaxing cup of tea with family and friends. While free parking is very limited, there is ample paid parking available nearby.
We tried the malai kofta with rice and roti and the flavors were satisfying and comforting. A highlight is their tea service—you can enjoy unlimited refills, making it a great spot for a long chat or a casual outdoor hangout. The outdoor seating is a bonus, surrounded by a pleasant environment that enhances the overall experience.
Whether you’re stopping by for a full meal or just tea and snacks, Cafe Bollywood is a good choice for a relaxed and enjoyable outing.“

“Just recently visited this place, on a Thursday, right at noon. (I was only one in the restaurant. Very surprised by that) saw people going in and out of a Teriyaki place next door.
I ordered pineapple chicken (Cut up chicken and pineapple cooked with a mild Creamy Butter Sauce. Came with basmati rice. Also ordered Naan Bread. Also a bottle of beer. Came to some $26 dollars. But the food was great, service was friendly, clean restaurant. I will definitely go back some time. If you want something different then Teriyaki or a burger, give them a try!“

“The food is ok. Nothing extra ordinary, but its really difficult for me to understand why they add 18% tips by default. Even for group of 4 or just one person for that matter. Price of food really on higher side with minimum quantity. Another thing is you cant split a bill. So on one table they only accept one credit card. This place is not for celebrating with friends for that reason.“

“We ordered takeout for our staff party for about 15 people. The online ordering platform is super smooth. You can easily navigate the menu, add things to your cart with various levels of spice and set your pick up time. A couple of our staff are vegetarian, so we leaned into those options and tried a number of things we'd never had before. The Mal Combo with fresh mushrooms, spinach and chickpeas and the Dal Makhni (black lentils, butter & fresh coriander) are really good & our new favorites. The mango curry with shrimp was a hit, as well as the butter chicken, tikka paneer masala and veggie samosas. The other wonderful bonus is that all of their food is peanut-free, so our staff member with allergies could eat everything. Many of the staff raved about the food and wanted to know where we got it. I also want to complement the Spice Box staff for having everything ready when we arrived. We could have given them more time for such a big order but they had it all ready for us. Everything was nicely labeled. We had plenty of food and everyone took home a bunch of leftovers. All in all, we had a super pleasant experience order party food from Spice Box!“

“This was a great spot for some delicious chat and quick eats. I had the chicken kathi roll and pav bhaji. They were both made very well, and served pretty quickly. Will definitely visit again.
There is a lot of parking, but the lot has a weird design and could be a hassle. We didn't have much issues ourselves, coz we went a little late in the day.“

“As an Indian living abroad, finding authentic Indian food that tastes like home can be a challenge. House of Chatting has become my go-to takeout spot, delivering a comforting and flavorful experience every time. The menu offers a wide range of Indian street food and traditional dishes, all with vibrant, well-balanced flavors. Their chaats, like pani puri and bhel puri, are always fresh and packed with the right mix of spices, which is often hard to find in most takeout spots outside India.
The quality of the curries and biryanis is consistently good, with rich gravies and perfectly cooked rice. The portion sizes are generous, and the prices are reasonable for the quality and authenticity they provide. Ordering online is easy, and the food arrives quickly, hot, and fresh. For any tech-savvy Indian craving home-style comfort food, House of Chatting is a reliable, delicious choice that never disappoints.“

“Excellent place! Next door to our vet, where a teriyaki place used to be, so decided to try for lunch. Two of us. Regular gyro sandwich with fries and soda combo, and jumbo extra meat shawarma. Guy working was super friendly and helpful. Food freshly prepared and hot. Fast too. Delicious food, meat was tender and flavorful, lots of toppings, crispy seasoned fries. Would not change anything about the food. We ate in. The guy brought the food to our table. Place is nice and fresh and clean but minimal decorations and no music or anything. Reasonable prices. We will definitely eat here again. Also, note excellent rating from county health. That's a good sign. On par with the best gyro places in the area. Worth trying!“

Farzi Cafe Bellevue: A Culinary Adventure Farzi Cafe Bellevue in Washington state has quickly become a must-visit destination for those seeking a unique and transformative dining experience. With its innovative approach to Indian cuisine, this restaurant offers a delightful fusion of flavors and textures. From the moment we stepped into the vibrant atmosphere of Farzi Cafe, we were captivated by its modern aesthetic. The menu, a carefully curated selection of dishes, showcased the chef's creativity and passion for Indian gastronomy. We began our culinary journey with a trio of appetizers: the Berry Avocado Chaat, a refreshing blend of sweet and tangy flavors; the Dal Chawal Arancini, a comforting rice and lentil croquette; and the Peshawari Paneer Tikka Lasagna, a unique fusion of Indian and Italian aesthetics. Each appetizer was a delightful surprise, showcasing the restaurant's ability to blend traditional Indian flavors with contemporary techniques. For our mains, we opted for the Heeng Jeera Dal Tadka, a hearty black lentil dish, and the Paneer Tikka Masala, a classic Indian curry. Both dishes were incredibly flavorful and satisfying. We paired these with the Chilli Garlic Rosemary Naan, a delicious accompaniment that added a touch of spice and warmth. To conclude our meal on a sweet note, we couldn't resist trying the Kulfi Tres Leches and the Chocolate Souffle. Both desserts were absolutely divine, offering a perfect balance of sweetness and richness. Our dining experience at Farzi Cafe Bellevue was enhanced by the attentive service of Chef Guarav Chawla. His passion for transformative cuisine was evident in every dish, making our meal even more memorable. If you're looking for a truly exceptional dining experience, Farzi Cafe Bellevue is a must-visit.
