“I just decided to stop in here in a whim when I was dropping my dog at the groomer's because I have a surplus of tzatziki at home that I wanted to grab some pita bread to have with. Decided to get an order of hummus and some baklava as well to see if I needed to come back at a later time and try more items....I'm so glad I did because I'm blown away by how good this hummus/pita/baklava is. It's so good that I haven't even pulled the tzatziki out of the fridge to eat with this stuff. And I have way too much tzatziki! And it's GOOD tzatziki too! I just don't need it because that's how great the hummus from Gyro Shawrma is.“

We ordered the non vegetarian dinner which is portioned to serve two but we had plenty of leftovers! Their 5 spice level is not that spicy, if you’re use to eating spicy food.“

The food was beautifully presented& it was very well seasoned. Right from Cocktails to Appetizer to Main course to Dessert just out of the world 👌👌( Michelin should come & review & grade them one 👍👍👍) The servers were extremely patient answering all our questions to order appropriate quantity for our group of 8 ,we could taste a variety without ordering too much 👍👍 we can't wait to go back and try something else again . “The location is isolated but the food is delicious. Saag, tikka masala, korma all good. They have dark meat! I much prefer dark meat over white meat. Mango lassi also delicious. The folks here are also super friendly and nice. Came in super late to order to go and they told us to sit and gave us water while we waited for our food. Definitely coming back.“

“The search is over. Our favorite Indian in Arlington is flooded and we don’t go up there anymore and are in Kent twice a month. Well this place was our third Indian restaurant in Kent that we tried and lo and behold they are perfect. We had butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, chicken biryani plan Nann and Chicken Tikka. Perfectly seasoned to our taste buds, just how we like it back home in the UK. This will be our Indian restaurant away from home when in Kent.“

“I first heard about Kanishka's Des Moines location through a friend who saw somebody raving about it in a Seattle foodies group here on FB. My friend and I went to check it out and, well, it's my new favorite restaurant. I've been here 3 times and Door Dashed it once in the past month. The food every time has been absolutely fantastic, and the portion size are quite generous. The appetizers are almost entree-sized; the first time I went there with a friend, we filled up on appetizers and had to get our entrees to go. Dish recommendations: Chicken 65 and Fish Pakoras for appetizers; Mixed Grill, Lamb Vindaloo, and Paneer Korma entrees. Also, listen to your host as it seems like they're always trying out new dishes that haven't made it onto the menu yet.“

They ain't playing with the spice levels, tread carefully. Also the lassi is so good. I've had lassi that tastes like Danimals before but theirs is actually tart and well balanced.“

“Omg fave new pizza spot. Ordered cheeky chicken ranch pizza & bbq wings. Omg delicious flavors that melt in your mouth from the first bite. They provided an extra bag with additional condiments. It's thoughtful because not every restaurants includes them. Forget any chain pizza make this your new spot. Won't regret it. Plus the delivery person had such a great smile and attitude. Thank you for excellent 1st time customer experience. Will definitely be ordering in the future and referring ppl here.“
